Rules And Guidelines

Typically, IRC is an unmoderated chat. "Unmoderated" means that a lot of offensive and/or abusive content pay pass through the channels, and people might not stop it. However, the AnimeNfo Staff wish you and everyone else to have a nice clean and unoffensive session with us, if you would follow these rules and guidelines:

When your connection to Rizon is successful, if you have some anfo??? nick or whatever we would wish you would change that, by using the /nick [nick] command, where [nick] is the nickname you want. It cannot contain spaces, and is limited to: A-Z, a-z, 0-9, ^, [, ], {, }, _, and - characters. If you get a message saying that the nick is owned by someone else, please change to another nickname, and leave the nickname to whoever owns it.

Please do not flame or spam our channel. This includes talking too much on the channel, changing your nickname too many times at once while in the channel, etc. It is very annoying when someone does this. By doing so you get banned, the severity depends on your actions.

Please do not use any welcome back scripts or autoaway messages. They are annoying, and we know if you're in the channel by a join message, and we do know when you're away if you're idling for a long time.

This is the AnimeNfo channel, in other words "Anime Info". We do not use fserve commands nor do we support them. Please do not ask about where to get warez or illegal software/torrents to anime/mp3s/etc. Depending on the severity, you will be banned PERNAMENTLY. Fserving will result in a 1-hour ban.

Respect everyone in the channel. This includes their feelings, their culture, and their opinions, etc.

Don't cause trouble and screw around. This includes asking to be an op, wining because you have no status symbol beside your nickname, whatever. We'll just ban you and put you on /ignore until we deem that you are allowed back in.

Finally, as going aloing with respect: don't insult people for whatever reason (again, cultural, opinions, etc). Don't harass or threaten people across IRC, as they are meaningless and lame and will result in a ban or kick if necessary.

Oh, one more thing. Please refrain from leet type (as an example, l33t). It's annoying. If you continously use it, yes, we will kick you out.
