| Ah, wasn't this sweeeeeet? A silly 8 minute OAV that doesn't need to exist? I mean, it was a cute story, but the animation was distractingly crappy, the characters were unmemorable (save Koko-chan), the seiyuu sounded tired, and the music was dull.
It made me giggle though. The major misunderstanding was so adorable, I couldn't help it. But the majority of the time, I was left wondering how in the hells this got financed, and if the people who made it felt ashamed using rustling noises to signify movement.

| Errr.... oookay um... what exactly just happened?
Magical Chocolate is very... odd and somewhat frightening.
The creators of this anime probably found about 10 yen in their wallets, and suddenly decided they would make an OVA out of it. They would slab some characters onto a canvas, think of a story in about 2 seconds and pick some kids off the street to do the voice acting; it's that bad.
The animation is horrid. Probably the equivilent to what a 2 year old could do to be perfectly honest. First off, the characters are 2 dimentional. The designs are nothing to remember, there is absolutely nothing special about them. This almost makes me want to raise the score I gave to Sister Princess.
This anime is so short, it was downloaded onto my computer in possibly 20 seconds, and after those 8:24 minutes of this pointless, ugly, and terrible OVA, I deleted it immediatly. I wanted to watch this just because I didn't exactly know what 'bad animation' was. I have never seen an animation rated so low with this many reviews. Now I know why.
The only reason I could give this a 7 for enjoyment was possibly because it's very cute and innocent. One of the more pure anime you will see, yet also one of the most forgetable. By nighttime, I'll either be having nightmares about the animation or this anime will have exited my memory completely.
There is simply nothing good to say about this anime. The animation is barf worthy, the sound is cliche and the voice actors suck, the story is pretty much non existent and stupid, the characters are ugly as heck and it isn't even long enough to know their personalities or names, this anime is probably on sale for 2 cents at the DVD store in Japan.

| Erm... O...k? What-was-this???? So...weird, I-m actually a bit petrified.
This anime seems to have been made by 5 year olds... I mean, the animation is horrible, one of the worst I-ve ever seen. In fact, the character designs look like kids drawings... really.
It-s very short, so it all happens so fast. The story is so... idiot. It tries to be a romantic story, I think, but it-s just childish... like the rest.
Music... looks like the music you use to help little kids sleep... or something.
The characters... childish and annoying. Except the main character... I actually thought she was cute.
Ah well, I really like anime, but I think I really wasted 8 perfectly good minutes... I could be watching good anime in those eight minutes...or even sleeping.

| Truly one of the most cringeworthy animes I've ever seen. Mahou No Chocolate has very, very little going for it, and though it's 8 minutes long I can't recommend that anyone spare those minutes to view it.
I don't understand how anyone could dignify MnC's animation with a score any higher than 2. Seriously, it's really just...beyond words. I mean, I was laughing through pretty much the entire thing because it was so embarrassingly ugly. Coupled with the sound, a painful duet of both generic happy schoolgirl voice acting and the alarmingly loud and overbearing chimes of romance (if you don't know what the hell I'm talking about, you will within the last minute of the anime), MnC is nothing short of an aesthetic assault. Seriously, the producers of this anime must have forked over about 4 yen total for the production of Mahou No Chocolate, not counting the money they paid for the lawsuit incurred by the people who screened it for them.
In cases such as Petshop Of Horrors, an OVA series can overcome a low budget by telling a fine story and having captivating characters. Unfortunately, MnC fails to do this as well. I watched it five minutes ago and I can't even remember the names of any of the characters. Personalities? No chance. The story, similarly, is inordinately generic romance tripe about some girl who gives her supposedly-unrequited love chocolates on Valentines' Day and blaaargh it hurts.
So why did I give it a 3 for enjoyment? I dunno, maybe I'm getting soft, but there were actually one or two moments that made me go "awww" mentally. As terminally stupid and repulsive-looking as it may be, it still has a sort of hopeful charm about it. If your standards are very low, then this may be worth the tiny amount of time it consumes; otherwise, I'd avoid it at all costs.

| Ich muss ganz ehrlich sagen das ich noch NIE etwas so DERMAßEN billiges gesehen habe! Die Animationen und der Sound sind ein einziger Witz, die gesamte "Episode" macht den Eindruck als wäre sie am Computer irgendeines Fans entstanden, ich musste immer wieder kopfschüttelnd lachen und mich fragen ob das alles wirklich ernst gemeint ist! Die Story ist genauso billig: Ein Mädchen ist in ihren Senpai verknallt, schenkt ihm zum Valentinstag Schokolade und beide haben sich am Ende lieb, das wars dann auch schon. Irgendwie wirkt das ganze wie ein Ausschnitt aus einer Episode einer 12-13teiligen Serie die gar nicht existiert und dieses 8minütige Machwerk somit völlig nutzlos und überflüssig macht. Ich frage mich ernsthaft nach dem Sinn dieser OVA. Der totale Trash!

Sound: Which Sound? Stupid memory of mine...
Story: It´s anime by numbers.
Character: Promising, it could have worked well as a 26 episodes series (well, with more plots)
Value: Ummmm, well... it´s about magic.... and love... and - do you believe in magic? ^-^
Enjoyment: As said above, this is anime by numbers. Everything but Sound and Animation is good. And I looooove anime by numbers "g"
(actually every television story is recycled. example: there are only 26 different methods/plots for all criminalistic movies and series. they are just recycled time after time after time...)

| Not much happening because it's only 8 minutes long. The anime doesn't look professional. Looks more like a fan made. Very sugary sweet that'll give you diabetes. It's about valentines where there is one girl who really like her senpai but is scared to confess.
If you're bored and lucky enough to download it then try it out. It's better than nothing.

| Yes the animation in this was horrid but then I think it was done that way on purpose. That aside, I think for an 8 minute OVA this one was pretty good. It'd be impossible to fit much of a story in that time frame so they didn't even try to. This one is basically just 8 minutes of fluff but it's the kind of fluff that leaves you feeling happy at the end.
If you enjoy shoujo at all or are just looking for a way to kill 8 minutes then give this one a try. It's cute, simple, easy to follow, and overall enjoyable and doesn't require a lot of emotional investment in the plot.

| Can't really say many things about it since there are only 8 minutes but I can say one thing : it's ugly :p but the story is cute and interesting even though it's classic... will there be a tv series, I'm wondering...

| A poor man's Hoshi no koe. I don't know who made this, but if it was some guy at home on his computer, then yes, it isn't too bad. But if it was a studio... there's no excuse for this.
The animation... where do I start. Ah yes, the part where it sucks. Not a fan of that style, all squiggly and stuff... ugh.
Music... was there music, I don't even remember, and I just watched it.
Story. Ok, I'll forgive them on this one cause it's JUST SO SWEET. Yeah, I'm a sucker for this stuff...
Obviously in 8 minutes you're not going to get very deep characters, and this is no exception. I mean come on, who is this magical chocolate-giving witch-girl? Does she just walk around giving kids chocolate? And what does she do after Valentine's Day for the rest of the year? Does she double as the Easter Bunny? The Tooth Fairy (getting more commission from giving the kids all that chocolcate)? Right, anyways, I was not impressed with the characters, even taking the length into consideration.
So in the end, at 8 minutes I suppose it's worth a look, but only one.

| Its a good anime without being extrordinary, its just happens to be... good. I am not a huge fan of the romantic drama type of movies, but I like some of them.

| The animation looked like something my little sister could do. But for some reason I liked this cute little anime. Sure its only 8 min long and the animation was terrible and I hate animes with little kids that deals with romance. But for some reason I liked it. Maybe its the fact that it is 2:20am and I knew it was very short that made me like it so much. I didnt have to sit threw 20 min of pure crap.
I think its a good first timer anime for kids 10 and under.
