| Even though this anime doesn't have any sex parts exposed, this is still considered a mature themed anime, because it contains sexual themes. And unlike some other animes, this anime presents it clean: no monsters, women with dicks, or the like of sick to the stomach things.
Animation is outdated. It's been 9 years since release now.... That's all that needed to be said.
I got the English dub version, and it sounds around average. The voice actor for Akira is below average. Sometimes he screws up on tone, or the way the line is supposed to be said. For everyone else, it's average. For sound effects, it is dated, so it has that aged sound of cheap sfx.
The story isn't awful. It's rather too cliche, on the particulr parts: transforming into some superhero, defeating bad guys. But, I liked the innovativeness of the PC bio-computers, and the Macintosh characters. Even so, this anime isn't long enough to give a good story.
For characters, I wanted to see more of what Mimi and Akira could do, as well as what Mimi could still do. Mimi was a cute character to watch, and I wanted to watch more of her. She is the character to enjoy watching. There's not alot of other characters, and also not a lot of people, in this anime. But each character have their own personality and lovable traits, such as that funny, sensible oldest sister.
This anime isn't one to rave about. I wouldn't put this one into my collection, because it was too short to present much. Even though the show has some humor and enjoyable content, it doesn't make into my list of "must watch anime".
Overall, I enjoyed this anime. It's funny, has soft hentai content, and has a nice computer themed story.

| This thing is a classic in every sense of the word. Done in the nineties, it is still in distribution. New packaging and new distributor to boot. It must sell well.
Full of pc related humor, delightful character design, a pretty good theme song and an entertaining story make it one of my favorites of this particular genre. More ecchi than hentai, it is definately an adult anime so don't let your really young ones watch it.
Ah yes, active molecules!

| Ecchi, yeah.... Very much so.
The animation is rather poor for it being so recently done, and they story, well there really isn't one.
That being said, you cannot help but fall in love with Mimi. She's so cute! That and the fact that see needs a memory upgrade of 'active molicules' every 72 hours... hehehe...
It's extremely stupid. That being said again, is why I loved it. Stupid anime cracks me up. There are a lot of pun and double entrende, drity and otherwise.
I laughed throughly.

| Buttobi CPU is one of the first ecchi genre that I have watched in anime and it has shown me that you don't need anything else when there's ecchi.
The animation quality is pretty bad consider that this is an OVA. There's no excuse that there are much better quality out there even in 1997.
The idea of the story is fun, but really poorly executed. There are various mention and parody to comteporary computer technologies at the time. And the fighting inside the 'net was cool at the time. But poor execution and the focus on being ecchi really pulls the focus on developing any good story at all.
If you have an hour to spare and no other anime to watch, and more importantly, want something ecchi. There are still other anime with much better production quality than this one.

| Haha, well... this anime is something i sure didnt expect. Its not Hentai, more like extreme Ecchi, and with a slew of more or less ridiculous things thrown into it. Being something of a computer geek myself, i couldnt help but both feel slightly embarrassed and amused at the same time :P. How about this: Digital woman robot that can store 1000 terabytes of data in her breasts and copy data from others of her kind via stroking the targets breasts? haha! its so ridiculously blown beyond the boundaries of sanity to the point where its both funny and annoying at the same time :D
Summary: Funny, in a ridiculous, annoying sort of way, but not not very hot. This one is a "see once, then delete" series. Expect nothing real hentaish, if you do, you'll be dissapointed. Also, the overall graphical quality of the fansub is pretty bad, and the animation style feels old as well.

| Well, really it is a REALLY soft hentai, or maybe a fairly hard echii. I've never seen something lay on the border like this does. I thought parts of it were hillarious (the concept of the Mac sisters was great) Normally I can't sit through an entire hentai, but I could stand to watch this. Unlike most hentai, it looks like work was put into it, it has a theme song (really I havn't seen any other hentai with that) and it even has a plot (very rare), if you are looking for real hentai, get something else, but if you want something a little lighter this is great

| Oh... well it isn't exactly bad. It could be a lot better, the story is good. It's ok watching, but the animation looks old(though it's only 6 years). It could be a lot better made.
An anime not worth spending any money on.

| Nicht die Art von Hentai die mir gefällt, irgendwie viel zu brav. Erinnert mich mehr an Emanuelle oder das Lustschloß im Spessart, halt einfach zu soft für meinen Geschmack. Außerdem fand ich die Charaktere irgendwie hässlich gezeichnet und wer Hentai schaut möchte sich ja wohl an hübsch gezeichneten Chars erfreuen. Doch davon mal abgesehen hat dieser Anime auch hier und da netten Humor zu bieten und kann sich somit wenigstens etwas über Wasser halten.

| I thought I give this OVA a try since its only 3 episodes. I do things like that even if the episodes bad but a short series like only 6 episodes or less I force my self to watch it. A good example is Amazing Nurse Nanako which is only 6 episodes and it sucked so bad it makes me ponder whats so "Amazing" about it.......darn gave myself a headache pondering so much about it to find out it still sucks. Anyway back to this review, I'll make it short, very little plot, not so good animation, character developement was ...err...umhh...none. The only good thing was the comedy which either had something to do with sex or computer related. So basically if you like sex jokes or you have good knowledge of computers(technically how a computer works and the tech field itself) then you'll probably will only watch it for those two reasons...and no this is not hentai its more like extreme fanservice cause not enough is shown so if your a hentai freaky deaky don't bother with this.
