At first, I dont like this anime, the reason why I watch this is because it was aired between Naruto and Inuyasha. But as it reached season 3, it started to get enjoyable.
The story is about mirmo, a fairy from the muglox kingdom. He came to the world of human as part of their training and then he met Kaede, he lives with her and he helps her with his magic. As Ive said above, the first two seasons are not that good but after the villains Akumi and Darkman arrived, it started to get better. This is not a plot driven anime so the episodes doesnt have much cohesion, but it is fast paced so its not boring to watch but the problem is that sometimes it gets too childish and cheesy.
There are two types of charcters here, the human and the muglox. I love the muglox fairies coz they are adorable and each one of them are totally different from others. As the title implies, mirmo is a selfish fairy but with a heart, murumo is always trying to be cute, Rima is brutal and no good in cooking (just like Akane in Ranma 1/2), Akumi though a villain is funny, especially Darkman, he's the only antagonist that makes me laugh. Can you imagine a villain playing play station? About the human characters, I dont like them much, Kaede/katie is always after her crush, Dylan lacks "substance", he's quiet and boring, I dont like these two. Azumi is quite annoying and nagger, Kyle is the xerox copy of Mendo from Urusei Yatsura, they are almost exactly the same.
In terms of enjoyment, well it depends on the episode, some are re-watchable, some are not.

| Wagamama Fairy Milmo de pon! Is really a bit funny to watch. But I really like the second season better. Anyway, cute fairies especially Milmo's brother. About the sounds the dubbing is ok and the music are great especially the first opening song. And about the enjoyment it's but not really that enjoyable.

| Selfish Fairy Mirumo de Pon! Was an anime I got due to boredom, and didn't really have all that big expectations about it, but surprisingly enough it proved me wrong. The series turned out to be extremely entertaining, funny, witty and practically all the things I look forward when beginning a new anime. The series may be full of bright colors and cheery kiddish themes, but underneath it all, there's a very well written comedy, that doesn't follow the rules of common shoujo comedies.
Mirumo de Pon is definitely something worth of watching if you enjoy comedies at all, it doesn't beat out the best comedies there are, but it's definitely a good competitor.

| Typical cute anime, with the usual romance & schoolkids backplot.. but why oh why did they make the fairies so REPULSIVE! They are SO un-kawaii that watching them almost hurts your eyes... and when they start chanting their names (in the spells or the songs), you get the feeling some serious brain damage is starting to take place...
