| Psychic academy is the story of Ai, a young man (never you mind Ai is a Girl's name; it's like an american male named Sarah.) who discovers that he has a special aura and gets sent to a special high school where there are other students with the same thing. Ai reunites with his childhood friend Orina, meets the mysterious Myuu, the fortune teller Ryaru and roommate Teruda. His older Brother Zero joins in as well, and Zero develops a thing for his teacher Chiroro.
See a lot of cliches in that? You're not alone.

| I'm reviewing this with only the knowledge of the anime (I decided to wait until I finish this review before readng the manga and I won't be tempted to change my review once said manga has been read *lol*).
Having no knowledge what-so-ever at this time, of the original storyline, I feel my review should be reasonably neutral!

| This anime is half done. Yeah, like soft-boil egg. It tastes good when you slurp it, but when hard-boiled, you have to chew on it and gives you indigestion....
What i mean is the "story-so-far" is only 40% of the manga. Nothing spectacular happens during this 40%. The real gist of the story happens in the last 60%, but the ending will not be good then.
Perhaps trying to forsake the rest of the story for a good, happy ending. But i seriously suggest that a PA2 be made.

| It is a shame, really.
I enjoyed whatching this piece of crap.
But it is only bad, because it is a mirror. A broken dirty reflection, of something bigger better longer stronger.
Therefore I can't give it to much punishment. I liked the comical essence of it.
But avoid it, if you can. If you just want short burst of laughter at the anime's sheer sillyness, you may want to watch it. 'Cause it is so short, it won't take much time from you.

| As a fan of Katsu Aki, I find this anime a bit disappoint. Considering from 2002 production, the anime is a low quality. The color is bad. The drawing is fine based on original manga. The music and dubbing are mediocre. The most annoying part is the coloring of the characters' eyes. The eyes' color make character look flat. The coloring of the uniform is not as good as other high school anime. The story is mainly introduction to Psychic Academy series, which followed manga from book 1-4 (However, they amended numerous part of the manga as well). I find this anime went below the standard of 2002 production. Also, the value still can not judge, since the anime ended half way. I grade them 6 due to the friendship, which is common standard of all Japanese high school anime. I give 6 to enjoyment as the story and character is fine. However, I do not really enjoy second rate anime color and dubbing.

| Well I just finished the to watch the last episode and... what a bad and frustrating end. I hoped it could be better.
The animation is poor, the images aren't always clear. Episodes turn around 10 minutes each.
The story isn't bad but... we search for the story. Not really well developped.
The sound is ok.
I gave 7 for the enjoyment 'cause it's not so bad if you have some time to waste... it's not so bad but if you've better to do...
I think I should read the manga...

| Well the sad thing is, I didnt know there was a manga so i stumbled upon the anime. It was enjoyable, the animation is pretty bad, and there was no ending. Then i heard from my friend there was a manga, so i decided to read it. WHOA was I surprised. The romance was much deeper than the anime. And the anime only covered up to the 4th volume of the manga, and there are 11 volumes total. So think of how much more there is to go. The anime didnt really have an ending, the manga's ending was pretty emotional but overall the manga is very good. The true story of physcic academy lies in the lengthy manga and i seriously think you guys should check it out. Its currently being released in english by TokyoPop and i think they are at voume 3... O WELL IVE READ ALL 11 VOLUMES SO SCREW YOU, MUAHAHAHA

| Worst anime ever! I was so looking forward to watching this after finishing reading the manga, which rocks by the way! But end up getting so angry on this piece of crap!
They took the first 1/3 of the story from the manga, rip out all the main storyline part, then just leave all the ecchi comedic part in for the 8 min episode. The manga is suppose to be serious and dramatic on the love triangle as the story unfolds, but the anime ends up being stupid and perverted.
Not only that, the animation is crap too, I've never seen the movement of a character look so awkward before, and all the fight scene looked like they are created by amateurs!
Skip this and go read the manga instead, THIS ANIME IS NOT AN ACCURATE REPRESENTATION OF THE MANGA!!!!

| Psychic Academy is about Ai Shiomi who is a new student at a school of magic to learn how to become a magician in his world. He quickly runs into two girls, Myuu and Orina, and his school adventures begin.
This series really doesn't stand out all that much, and actually lacks considerably in many departments (to be discussed later). Though the premise for magic is interesting, it lacks a lot of believability throughout the whole series, and it's just hard to sit through, imo. However, considering that if this is an online anime, I suppose that my judging is a bit harsh considering what television series, OVAs, and movies have to offer.
Oh, and Psychic Academy should also be in the ecchi category, imo.
Update:
Psychic Academy was apparently a manga before the anime was created. By no means does the anime cover the whole story in the Psychic Academy manga (which is considerably better than the anime, since the manga extends the storyline to explain and to tie up everything that had happened in the storyline covered by the anime). As the result, the anime ends on a very unsatisfactory note.

| This one didn't have anything to say. The main characters evolution is pretty ridicilous as he doesn't have to learn anything, he just tries it and it works. Not much of a show there. Characters are forgettable and the story is boring with all the usual stuff. On top of this animation is quite hideous from time to time and music annoys me. Bluntly: waste of time.

| A bit short, and it always gets to me how guys get the hell beat out of them for groping girls when they really didnt mean to, or it was an accident. I liked this anime, but i think it was a bit short. There could have been more character depth, but super powers are just awesome. If you like anime with fan service and super powers you gotta see this; otherwise, you might want to skip it. Either way, it would make for a good rental.. If any place would rent something like this..

| An anime based on the manga drawn by H-author Katsu Aki. Now there's surely some fan-service in the anime as most Katsu Aki's creation have. As this is a super-short anime(10 mins per episode), each episodes seemed to be over in a breeze... Therefore at least the audience wouldn't see any slow-paced story in this anime, which is also why I love these super-short animes.

| Really liked this one. Great animation, the characters too especially myuu (never liked a character as much as myuu actually).
A bit Ecchi wich is nice, but the story is lacking.
If they would have made the eps. 20 minutes instead of ten it would have been much better. I think the intro is to long also.
Anyway I really liked it so i've been reading the manga to get the full story which is really good. I think Myuu is one of the best female characters ever made.

| It was a short watch but quite amusing. I think Physic Academy would be better if the episodes were 20 minutes long, the story is pretty much okay but the episodes are just too short.

Yes it’s too short. The art could be better. I kind of liked music.
To read some of the revues you would think they had an 80-year-old woman doing the voice of a 16-year-old boy. It’s not that bad. It’s a lot better then most of voices they get to do the English dub… (Yes I am a sub junky)
Yes this one needs to be redone with 1/2hr shows and more episodes to help flesh out the characters.
The story is ok. Its not Tenchi Muyo ova (yes I tend to like ova’s) But all the stuff is there to make it good. An opportunity missed – well may be.
My thoughts….. This was a test of some kind what kind I’m not sure.
Give it watch and think what is it about.

| A better name might be Service Academy Aura Banshou. Plenty of panty flashing, money shot, grabbing, and bouncing to satiate even the most demanding fanboy :).
The story itself seems kind of like Love Hina in 7 minutes. Rather interesting, though a bit short. Quite hilarious at times and seems to maintain its focus (in a subtle manner) throughout the entire series.

| I too thought this anime was rushed a tad. This would have been an awesome anime if the story, character, and plot development was longer. Apart from that, I actually really enjoyed this anime. It doesn't deserve such a low rating from users. It has some action, some lovey dovey stuff, and if you are one of those that has a good laugh over animes with some perverse interactions mixed in, you'll enjoy this ;)

| Seeing a lot of 5/10/15ish minute shows, I can predict that the animation is probably going to be bad...and it is. And they tried to cram as much story as they can in each episode. So most of the episodes were rushed and the character, I personally thought, were cliche. They look unique, but as I went though all the episodes they become more predictable. Not only the story seem rushed, but the voice acting was bad that they must of been rushing them to finish it up.
The anime sounded promising, the description on this site tricked me thinking it was good >_<
It seems from other reviewers that the manga was much better, so another show goes into the "anime that puts the manga to shame" caterogy.

The episodes are too short and too rushed and it makes the characterdevelopement lack behind.
The animation is also lacking quality and the soundeffects and voiceacting is are kind of bad.
It could be so much more! I hope the manga is better!

| Not the greatest of animes, but certainly worth watching. The characters are generally unrealistic, but not exceedingly so. Their emotions are real in the anime sense and their actions are definitely not absurdingly funny to the point that it loses all humor. Give it a go if you've run out of anime to watch.
