| When you see Genshiken, there is that anime Kujibiki Unbalance-in an anime highlighting the second anime. Well this is that second anime from Nadesico. And like Unbalanced it is made up of 30 minutes of pure fastforwardness of the plot. The anime dates itself around Speed racer, Simba the white lion and other old anime's. Though made in 1998, it really does feel prehistoric.

| Wer Nadesico gesehen hat weiss was ihn mit dieser OVA erwartet: Kitschige Oldschool-Mechaaction in Reinkultur. Der Verlauf den man in den knapp 25 Minuten präsentiert bekommt ist komplett konfus und viel Sinn macht er auch nicht aber wenn man diese OVA nicht ernst nimmt ist sie eigentlich ganz nett, besonders für Nadesico-Groupies. Insgesamt eine recht kurzweilige Homage an alle antiken Mecha-Animes mit dazugehörigen Retro-Animationen + Sound und Charakteren. Sollte man Nadesico nicht kennen wird man hier allerdings höchstwahrscheinlich mit leicht qequältem Lächeln, konstant den Kopf schütteln und diese OVA sofort als Trash abtun. Man sollte also gewarnt sein!

| This one is all over the place. Humorous for those that enjoy the parody of it all, painful for everyone else. I bet you can guess which group I fall under. ^_^; Obviously this was made to look aged, but I think the creators might have taken that a bit too far, resulting in poor animation and cheap audio and voices. And if you thought for a second that the anime could be saved by the story... o_O;

| Heh, corny, full of plotholes, painful dialogue and realy, realy funny. It's a parody of old mecha anime. The opening and ending with Akito, Yurika and Ruri are quite good to, especialy the end. I would give the animation lower, but I belive that the creators actualy made it look a bit old just to ad the feeling that you were indeed watching some old corny anime.
