| I so agree with the last reviewer. This. is. boring. Predictable. A total rip-off of some american action movie. I guessed everything from the first scene and... well I rolled my eyes and yawned of course.
The story is weak (this must be one of the most recurrent plots in the world), the characters are chiched, the animation is super bad, not only for an OVA but also for a 2000 anime. The music... well, I don't even want to get into that... but the opening song is terrible.
I still can't believe they actually included a "misterious employer" guy in this. So western of them... gah.
Overall? Not so good. Not worth your time if you look at this OVA and think: "Now where have I seen this before? Oh! Mission Impossible, of course!", right? I like anime because I find their stories refreshing... some of them at least. I don't want to see anime that's almost equal to... G.I. Joe (with swords) or something. Do you?
Avoid this. Perhaps the series are better?

| I'm going to keep this short since there isn't much to talk about. The story is simply predictable right from the first scene where they try to show a tense situation involving the heroes fighting each other. The fact is that my guess was so right that its not even funy. For an OVA it has subpar animation amd aweful sound. The character development is also kept to a minimum.
All in all a very average OVA which is influenced by an average TV series.

| Blood is shed and Weiß dead. Actually, this isn't just a kill-everyone OVA. This OVA asks the question which is more important your Friends or your beliefs? The Weiß members must decide in a grim and bloody battle.

| I'd never watched any Weiss Kreuz before I saw the OVA. It didn't matter, it can stand on its own. The animation is wonderful, with some of the best suspenseful transitions between scenes that I have seen. The soundtrack was quite effective, especially for the main fight scene. Story was extremely well structured. Excellent use of foreshadowing without making the plot really predictable. I was interested, and found myself to be surprised up to the very end. Even so, it was easy to follow and made sense once it was all done.
Characters, however, were somewhat undeveloped, though clearly not all the same. I imagine that this is something that is better done in the series and such. Even though not extremely well developed, though, the characters were believable and interesting. It may be worth watching more of the series if I get the chance.
Overall, an enjoyable OVA. It avoided being incomprehensible and avoided being predictable and empty. A good balance that one doesn't always find.

| Well, the animation is great. They all look good in there. Yeah, I agree that the story could be exasperating. But let's not forget to give credit to the author's imagination. Well it's hard to come up with great stuff about assassins for who revolves in that world? We all speculate, and I believe what we know about the underground society is actually far from the real thing.
I wanna answer the comment why some people loves Aya/Ran (ahem). I guess I'll just state my personal reasons to be safe, I'm entitle to my personal opinion anyway.
Ran is "cold", he has an air of mystery about him. Actually, he's just choosy about words. So everything he says has meaning, and he means it. Contatry to what some thing, Ran actually cares a lot about his comrades. He's the leader anyway. I used to believe he's soo great coz he's sooooo cold and cool when I was younger. So there was a point that I was kinda disappointed that since the WK anime itself, it was hinted he does care. It actually begins to get funny how Youji example could see right through him when he tries his best to look indifferent. Not also does he values friendship, he cares a lot about family. Well, to the point that I wanna tell to his face :get a life man! He's also sensible, and he knows a lot of things. He knows when to talk, and when not to. He knows when his friends needs a push, and when to give them space. He knows what to say exactly at the right time. Like when he adviced Omi (when he was confused by the lawyer) that they should stick to what they believe in. It connects to what Koyasu always say that we don't know the absolute truth anyway, so how could we be sure what we believe in is actually true? Ran is also very professional. He hates to screw up in his work. He's smart, too smart sometimes, (well the 4 of them are, they're good "actor" don't you think so?) that they can easily figure out if something is wrong and inconsistent. Another reason we fans love him? He can DODGE bullet! Yeah!

| for me, WeiB is not an action anime because it doesnt have much action at all! most of the episode's time would be consumed in talking rather than fighting. i say WeiB kreuz is in the drama category.(originally a radio drama, makes sense to me) Ok, the OVA is good, but the thing that i noticed here is that they turned out fighting against each other. We all know that there is not a criminal that can be a problem of WeiB except Schwatrz(who is beyond normal) and Ezsett, so they probably just made a story that will challenge the skills of WeiB. Again, if you like light animes, dont try this.

| The OVA's tons better than the anime, but i've only watched two episodes. I never even knew that there were four...
The OVAs actually had an interesting plot *gasps* and they had blood and gore! *double gasp* It has a good plot, and well.. the characters aren't as annoying.
I thought this was just awsome to watch (not the blood and gore, but the anime in general). ^_^;;

| Only 2 OAV..'Verbausen' (sp) and 'Strafe' ('Crime' and 'Punishment')..but anyways... This was fun!! A tense action!! same ridiculous Weiss plot, same ridiculous characters...Can't remember details cept it was very good, just like the 1st Weiss TV season...and why was Ken the one to 'survive'? I dislike him the most. Aya totally should have been the final one..*pout*

| The OVA's were a very refreshing change from the series.
The series itself had a lot of room for improvement, but the OVA's had everything that the series lacked..including better animation..
The new assassin outfits were *very* cool, and the fact that the two OVA episodes that have been released have a better storyline than the whole series put together doesn't hurt.
Lots of blood, and action, as well as intruigue and suspense..although the last OVA, Strafe leaves on a cliffhanger that makes me hope that they release the last 2 OVA's here ^_^
