| Not having watched that much hentai, I really don't have many bases for comparison. Still, Bible Black, exceeded my expectactions (which were quite low) a little... they actually tried to add a plot!
I always thought that hentai was all, let me put it bluntly, about mindless sex. Turns out, I wasn't that wrong to begin with. Bible Black is one giant 6 episode long orgy with so many kinks that if I was squeamish I'd have been seriously disturbed.
Still, at least the characters have an excuse for all that sex they engage in... enters the plot. Black magic, blood, pentagrams, I admit, might sound scary, but all I saw when I watched Bible Black was... plotless sex?
Not an anime for the faint of heart/squeamish. :p

| A story of a high school guy finding a book about sexual magic. Initially he uses the book to his advantage but soon finds himself caught in a situation that is running completely out of hand. Not before receiving his fair share of all kinds of naught stuff, though.

| Bible Black, my first hentai. And the first anime which left me scared and all shaken up. Before plunging into the review bit let me say this: I hate BDSM and all forms of torture, especially during sex. So for all those looking for BDSM/torture in a hentai, skip this review, since this is negative on this line of thought.
What disturbed me was that there was a lot of sex which related to torture. Furthermore, the scenes itself leant more towards a horror side rather than erotic (which is what I was seeking.) There is blood in quite ample amount. And some scenes are rightdown disturbing since they relate to incest and rape.
Bible Black also has a story. It follows a proper plot, which I found disturbing. It is basically a serious and porno version of the movie CRAFT (*ing Neve Campbell.) While initialy it restricts itself to erotic sex caused by magic, it soon turns into sex (read rape/torture) to satisfy the devil (ugghh!!!)
And now the pros: Bible Black is perhaps the most popular and sought after hentai. For it truly has one of the best animation I have seen (in a hentai). The characters are superby drawn. All the girls are stunning, all of them have atleast double d's. Their bodies are preety much the same, but then who cares? I didnot like Kitame though, her having both a organs was wierd. The sex scenes are superbly animated. The sound and the seiyuu are perfect. It sets the seen in a perfect manner, sometimes too much for its own good. The music is basically of a horror type.
I didnot enjoy Bible Black due to its disturbing storyline. Maybe I'm just not built to watch torture, but this one is a thumbs down from me. I would not recommend this to a person starting off with hentai.

| OK so after watching Bible Black and Bible Black Origins I must say I'm pleased. It fills the role of hentai series, but with a good plot too, which is quite rare. Usually hentai contains somesort of rape or the girls are somehow forced to the sex refusing to do it first, but after awhile starting to enjoy it. This was done with a twist in BB and it felt little more genuine.
Animation is top notch and all the girls look stunning. They do have the same basic body figure except for Imari, but who cares, as long as they look this good. The "action" scenes contain nice angle of views and overall everything works, at least for me.
Music was nice, excpecially liked the horror music that was used during some big revelation. Japanese voice acting was good, but the english dubbed version sounded horrible and it was a lot more hmm how do I say it... more pervert.
So hentais usually contain a weak or no story at all. But this one has a decent story, which even has plot twist in the end and even a emotional scene(it's in the end you know it when you've watched it trough). Of course between the introduction and ending the rest is filler sex scenes, but they do bring up Kitami's overall craziness to the viewer.
Characters are the weakest string in BB, but some of them are OK. Minase still sure sucks, but so the male protagonists usually do =)
imari was left somewhat empty and I really couldn't get in to her character
(heh "get into her")
Both teacher's were nice, although Kitami was very disturbing too...
So I liked it and after wathing the BB origins too it did made me symphatize with Kitami a little, but still the ending of BB did feel a little disturbing. I still haven't watched the BB: New testament and I hope it continues from where BB was left. Overall it's a good hentai serie to watch.

| Usually I only watch hentai for one purpose, a purpose that shouldn't be mentioned. While many christians will get offended by the use of various religious figures, it really shouldn't be taken seriously. Surprisingly, the story isn't as half bad as I thought; in fact, it's pretty good with the nice little plot twist in the end. Those that are curious of the hentai genre and would like one with a good story should probably start off with Bible Black.
Though overall, Bible Black is a hentai, and in all hentai, sex is involved. However, the hentai we know it as usually involves extreme raping, tentacles, or some other form of bizarre sex. Can't leave Bible Black out of that trend, because it's full of wierd sex. Having sex was done for one purpose; to contribute to the revival of some devil. They find a sacrifice in order for that demon to come to their world in the form of a ritual where all the girls are naked. It kind of wonders me why you have to have sex for this to happen, but oh well sweet deal!
I'm one to despise hentai for its use of "bizarre sex", though I'll forgive Bible Black for its heavy use on all of it for its awesome animation. There is no hentai period that has better models or animation than Bible Black. The red haired teacher has personally became my favourite hentai character, and there's no one hotter period before her. Too bad their characters suck. Only reason why I gave that catagory a six is because the models are so damn mouth drooling, and the character's appearence counts as the characters too, right?

| As this hentai grasp for an actual storyline, bible black turns away from traditional hentai of tentacles rape and directs the attention to more lesbian scenes and hermaphrodites.
Although the idea is inviting to some, the overall execution(as far as dubbing) is quite terrible. Alot of the girls sound more male then the lead male character but are drawn quite well and very attractive. after six episodes, we meet the grand climax(no pun intended) of bible black and everything comes to a sordid if not satisfying conclusion.
Bible black may not be the best hentai with a storyline(see kite) but it does a decent job of tieing a reason to the mindless sexual acts through the episodes.

| This is by far among my favorite ones of all time, well in terms of overall value as such. Despite the fact that it does lack on some aspects like character and story, which I believe had a lot of potential. But nonetheless it was among the best hentai movies.
On another note, one should check out Bible Black Gaiden that gives more details about the withcraft club which took place years before this OVA, not to mention that you get to see Ms. Takashiro wear a school uniform along with Ms. Kitami. :D

| This is the best hentai that I have EVER watched (and that's a LOT of hentai.) The great charaters combined with amazing visuals really draws you in. The best part is the amount of "action." In most hentai, you have to sit through 5 minutes or so of dialogue between the sexing. In this one, you'll be surprised if there's a one minute gap without some sort of interesting action. Another great part about this show (for me, anyway) is the amount of anal relations. After the second episode, it's all over the place. I'm into that kinda stuff, so it was a huge plus for me.

| After watching this, I felt I was definately DESTINED FOR HELL! This gives cool devices a run for its money for damning your soul. However, apart from the explicit nature of the series, the storyline is in fact surprisingly enthralling--as is the surpise ending. However, the brazen immorality of this series has seriously scared me about hell and watching porn of any type! For those into this sort of hentai,it would be worth watching its prequel "Bible Black Gaiden". This series and it prequel do something that few hentai have been able to do: make a real connection between horror and arousal. Often people who have been in life threatening or scary situations often relate being aroused afterwards, well not only does this series portray that on screen but evokes the same visceral reactions in the viewer.

| This has got to be one of the best hentai ever. Surprisingly, the plot of this hentai is very good and you will be engrossed in finding out the fate of the characters as you watch the series. The girls are also REALLY hot, and as many hentai fans will agree with me the Bible black schoolgirls in uniform are the hottest schoolgirls in uniform ever. The "action" is also very good. I guess that the last few eps were a bit weak and long-drawn, and they do take a few points away from my rating, but overall BB is great and is definitely worth watching.

| Looking back, I realized that hentai anime and its release for R1 had gone through some gigantic leaps and bounds. And while Bible Black had created a loyal following since its transformation from an H-game; I consider the series an example of the "good versus bad" of it.
The "good" being the art and animation, the plot, and the attractive characters. As well as the many hot sex scenes.
The "bad" being the lazy directing of the English dub, and the otherwise attractive characters when in the nude.

| Bible Black enthält viel verstörende Szenen inklusive Sex mit Blut, Rape und dreht sich obendrein noch um Okkultismus. Eigentlich alles was ich in meinen Hentais nicht sehen will und mich eher abstößt. Das Bible Black dennoch mein Lieblings-Hentai ist, um genau zu sein der beste den ich bisher jemals gesehen habe klingt da natürlich mehr als widersprüchlich. Doch die Antwort auf diese Kontroverse ist denkbar einfach: Bible Black bietet nicht nur die mit Abstand besten Animationen der gesamten Hentai-Welt, das beste, hübscheste und attraktiveste Charakterdesign und die detailliertesten Sexszenen die ich bisher genießen durfte sondern auch endlich mal eine Story an deren Verlauf und Ausgang ich Interesse gezeigt habe. Natürlich ist die Handlung mehr oder weniger voraussehbar aber für einen Hentai reicht sie definitiv aus um neben der Pornographie für Unterhaltung zu sorgen. Aber um noch einmal auf den erotischen Anteil von Bible Black zurück zu kommen: Wie gesagt gibt es viele Szenen die ziemlich anstößig sind aber der Sex besteht nicht durchgängig daraus. Es gibt auch normalen Geschlechtsverkehr zu sehen und dieser ist einfach nur super in Szene gesetzt, zB gibt es viele verschiedene Einstellungen der unteren Körperpartien und die Geschlechtsorgane wurden mit großem Detail gezeichnet. Auch die Bewegungen wirken realistischer als fast alles was bisher im Hentai-Universum zu sehen war. Zusammen mit den Charakteren auf deren Design sehr viel Wert gelegt wurde (schöne Proportionen, glänzende Haut, Muskeln, Brustkörbe die sich bei den weiblichen Figuren leicht durch den Bauch drücken) bieten sie all das was mich als Hentai-Fan in den höchsten Tönen jubilieren lässt. Klar, man muss ein paar härtere Szenen verkraften aber Bible Black bietet ebenso genügend normalerotische Sexszenen die ich mir immer wieder gerne anschaue. In meinen Augen ganz klar der beste Hentai der jemals produziert wurde und auch nach etlichen anderen Werken die ich danach gesehen habe immer noch die Referenz für mich. Anschauen ist hier allein wegen den tollen Animationen Pflicht für jeden Hentai-Fan!
