| Its a very sweet story full of love and friendship. Realy fun to watch. This anime also manages to give each character a very distinct and different personolity from eachother.

| I read two of the manga book before watching this and it's followed the manga thus far quite good, though I am told that the manga then takes a dramatic turn and the anime doesn't show that.
No matter, this is a great cutesy, girly anime (though shocking it's actually shounen - I'm told) which really talks about the friendships between the characters. The characters themselves are also very interesting. Though to be honest, I found the main character - Kotarou a bit dull. My favourite character is Shia. I also like Ten-chan due to reasons I shall not say in case of spoiling the anime. There are parts of the manga I wish they'd shown on the anime though, for the anime has a darker side instead of just the jovially jumpy hugsy feeling the anime portrays.
I'd recommend this anime to anyone who just wants to sit down and relax before the TV. PitaTen is very cute and bubbly though sometimes it lacks seriousness.

| Awww, it's the story of a klutzy angel and a kind and sweet devil helping a little boy be happy! Everyone ready for cavities? Good!
Pita Ten failed me. I almost wish I had never read the manga so I could fully enjoy the eternal fluffiness of this series. The animation alone screamed "happy". Pastel characters, oversized eyes, SD every few minutes, Koge-Donbo trademarked expressions... everything just screamed cute. Luckily, the cuteness wasn't overbearing and ugly.
Sound-wise, this was not a standout anime. The BGM was rather flat, so was the ED... the only musical enjoyment I got was the sugar rush of an OP. Voice-wise however, this was top-notch. Imagine my surprise to find out sullen Kotaro was voiced by Queen of Cute Shy Girls, Miyuki Sawashiro! Yukari Tamura was perfect as Misha as well, with another ditziness and cuteness to give you diabetes. It felt like listening to Cardcaptor Sakura on helium. Yukana also did a fantastic job with the benevolent demon, Shia, who never gave her too much of a helpless voice and gave her a great inner strength.
Now then, onto the story... I really really really didn't like the latter part of the story. The beginning was fine. Some light fluffiness and a little plot mixed in. Felt happy but left a sense of lingering urgency up in the air. Yeah, that sense of urgency never really came through though until the last two episodes, when they tried to cop out on the real crisis of the plot. I really hated watching those last two episodes, and that in turn ruined my hopes for the plot. But then again, after filler continued to reign past Ep. 20, I knew they could never do justice to the manga storyline.
Characterization was Pita Ten's only saving grace. The designs were simplistic and cute, but not overtly so. Each character had a very distinct personality that made them very interesting. Granted some of the characters should have been shoved into the back seat a long time ago (Did Kaoru really need to stick around for 22 episodes? No... no she didn't). But their comic timing and reactions to one another was just perfect.
So Pita Ten is not the master cute anime I thought it would be, but if you're in the mood for light fluffy cuteness without feeling overwhelmed with characters more-or-less forcing you to be happy too, you'll enjoy it nonetheless.

| So sweet it rots teeth. It's an anime with a very simple, understandable story but doesn't go too deep, and very few surprises. Many times, the episodes have a small individual story line with a lot of fluff to fill it in: there's nothing really complex about it, and the ending didn't really have much of an impact on me at all. It's very cute, and there are times where I feel exhausted just listening to the hyper conversation between the characters. Many things are predictable, and characters are more or less 2 dimensional, but the series definately has charm!! If you like cute, definately check it out! If you like action, you might want to skip it. It's worth a look to see if it's your kind of thing.

| This anime is very good if you want to watch some romance comedy. Although this anime isn't based on the original manga entirely, it still has some good points to it. Anyone who read the manga first and then watched the anime would most likely hate the anime, that's my opinoin.

| This anime is overdozed with sickeningly kawaii factor that reminded of Digi Charat quite a bit. It's very obvious that this anime's target audience is children, but that doesn't mean there's nothing for some of the grown ups like me. This anime, in my opinion, never realized its potential because of its fillers and pacing problems. Nonethless it was still enjoyable to watch.
The opening song was a catchy one. Though it isn't the greatest song, it still sets te mood right. The background music and ending song however was rather lame. It was almost non-existent, but it wasn't bad enough to stick out. ...so i guess that's a good thing.
What really caught me was each characters unique and fun personality. From clumsy and caring Misha, to St. Mary like Shia-chan all characters are very different and fun. This cast of character work very well with much chemistry realized through excellent seiyuu work.
And this character is the basis of all comedy in this anime and it's many times genuinely funny. This anime never pulls any low blow jokes to get us to laugh. But it did get a bit repetitive at the end...
The story is a mix of ups and downs. There are just way too much filler in this anime and that naturally hurts the pacing. I would've liked this anime better in a 13 episode format and considering the amount of material this anime covered it's more than possible. Having Kawaii and fun filler sometimes isn't a bad thing but it ust got too repetitive in my opinion.
But when the story do cover some of the main plot lines it's rather interesting. It never too serious but it never takes its things too light either. Good amount of angst and confilcts are thrown in the second half of the series to keep things fresh and interesting...
Animation here is nothing special. Bright colors are fun and vibrant but it isn't anything special. I did like the cute character designs but that also isn't anything new. I didn't however had a bit of confusion to Koboshi-chans cat ears...
This anime definetely should've gone deeper into its main character : Kotaro-chan. At the beginning of this anime i expected some solid development that will keep this anime interesting but it is not done well. If Kotaro was developed well i think the ending would've been more powerful but it really never is. In general all the characters lack development and it really didn't help.
this anime could've been really good if it developed its characters a bit more and if it was shorter. What we have here is a 26 episodes of Kawaii galore with bits of angst towards the end. Though this anime might drive you to sleep the first half with its fillers, the second half is much better.

| Not as cute as everyone is saying, it's more gay than cute. Now that I have seen the anime, it really isn't that bad. I have only seen 6 episodes out of order (I saw 8-10, then 5-7, but luckily I read the manga and I was firmiliar with the characters and storyline already) but Pita Ten is a very entertaining little show. A bit spastic, but very fun.
The animation of Pita Ten isn't that great. The movements don't flow well, the presentation was colored strangely and the backgrounds weren't superb. The art style however is very cute, because I love Koge-Donbo.
I wasn't too fond of the opening and ending of Pita Ten, however the character voices matched almost perfectly with the characters and the background music is wonderful. I even have a CD with the background music on it.
The story of Pita Ten is almost non existent until like, the last episode. The rest of the episodes are all fillers, but they're entertaining non the less.
~Will right more later.
Pita Ten is a very fun anime. If you want an anime that you can just watch for entertainment, then you should like this.
Oh my, to think, and angel and a demon living together... -Nya-Chan.

| The quintessential children's anime. The most static characters get together and attend and perform envets of daily school life. Perfect for a weekly showing at the child's favorite time, but definitely not something meant to be strung together as a story.
Cute characters that never change. They also are quite stereotypical as you have the jealous (but no one listens to her) outspoken girl, the klutz but good-hearted outgoing girl, the shy but is admired cooks well girl, the cool guy, and the just average kid who lost a family member. Quite a cute combination, but really nothing happens in this story to make it a memorable anime.
Good watch from time to time, but it is repetitive, but perfect for a child who doesn't demand much. I got a few chuckles out of it.

| The anime version of Pita Ten is just basically for its cuteness. There isn't that much of a development in the storyline. Overall the characters are cute and adorable, but a bit too much. This anime was okay, though the manga version of Pita Ten is a lot better.
The story has a mysterious side to it, it's more serious and mature.
For the manga version, I'll give...
Animation:9
Sound:0 (since when can books talk?)
Story:10
Character:10
Value:9
Enjoyment:10
If you like cutness watch the anime.
If you want a more mature version of Pita Ten read the manga.
BTW: About the play they have in both the anime and the manga, well here is a detail explaination of that story

| If youre looking for an anime with a deep story, plot, or any sort of love story, this is not the anime youre looking for. However, if youre looking for a lighthearted anime, with plenty of cuteness and humor, then give this one a shot.

| hehe :)
i have watched to episode 13 now and i have a hard time getting myself to watch the rest. this anime is just too odd! i feel sick when watching this anime, i dont know if its the amazingly GHAY cuteness or the small 9 year old main character! its just way to hard to take this anime serious, its like, when watching some episodes u'll expect some progress in their relationship and eventually "love" eachother but thats not what is happening, instead they put in alot of fillers and introduce characters with NO meaning what-so-ever! its just pointless introductions.
In these 13 episodes i have seen only 2 places where u see "signs" of him actually liking this girl! :o and the characters just got the most anoying voices and personalities in the world! i really wish one of them would die or something :P
i guess this anime is okay, if u are a girl that is. the anime has nothing to offer except anoying voices, small kids, un-developed breasts and comedy. it is nothing close to my standards when watching animes... and i am a guy who likes drama/romance/comedy/action...
if u are thinking about watching this anime DONT DOWNLOAD ALL THE EPISODES IN A PACK... download episode 1 & 2 and watch that frist... or else u might get dissapointed :)

| Maybe the first fansubbed show I've really loved, Pita Ten is the perfect recipe of kindness and cuteness.
Starting from animation, in hyper-kawaii style and continuing with voices that are very sugary (but lovely).
But these factors contribute to a wonderful show, in which you can laugh (often) and you can reflect.
There's a good balancement between various elements and the fact of being labeled as a "kid-show" sure has penalized this anime, who deserves very much, imho.

| (It may seem like my review has spoilers, but it's only stuff that appears in the very first episode, so no fun is ruined.)
The short description doesn't do this anime justice. You have an angel in training (Misha) who comes to live on Earth while she prepares for her full-angel exam. She's quite a simple and delightfully straightforward, most-always happy character and she can't help but enthusiastically meddle in Kotaro's private life.
Which is a good thing, because Kotaro tends to be somewhat too quiet on account of having lost his mother a while back.
The cast is failry large and varied. You have interesting main characters, interesting secondary characters and a wide range of supporting characters. The take on the whole angel vs devil aspect is quite funny and original.
There are smaller sideline plots involving most of these. The main storyline follows Misha's time spent on Earth, but also fermly touches the lives of those involved with her. Some episodes are dedicated to other than the main characters and everybody gets their time in the spotlight, creating the impression of a tight, very well detailed group of characters.
This is a fun and interesting series. Albeit fermly rooted in the kawaii genre, it doesn't overdo it. A nice watch and good to own and see again sometime, if you like this kind of anime.
The voice actors are very nice, Misha's is especially funny. The opening and ending are very nice.

| This is an extremely cute anime! Watching this constantly reminds me of another anime, Bottle Fairy.
The animation is drawn such that almost every scene is cute in every way it can. And just when you think the characters are cute, wait till they "transfrom" into their cute mode!
The story is very simple for a 26 episodes series. The only thing that is memorable is probably the last 3 episodes that really stands out, otherwise, all the other episodes just serve the purpose of developing the characters in a very slow way.
Ifyou can look past the simple story and you love cute animation, this is actually a really good anime to watch, at first it might seem a bit childish, but it will become more fun as you watch more of the episodes.
PS: To the reviewer who blew this anime off because of an all female cast, if you actually look carefully, a lot of anime has female seiyuu for male characters!

| One of my favorite animes. Cute, sad funny, and awesome! All of the characters were enjoyable like Dai-chan, Misha-san, Shia-san, etc. All of them are funny and cute! The story was creative and original. The idea of an Angel(who acts like a mischievous devil) and a devil(who acts like a kind angel)live together is great. The cutest character in PitaTen was Shia and Misha coming in second. The ending wasn't what i expected, but it was still very good. This show should be enjoyable to anyone who enjoys cute animes with a nice story. Great anime!!=D

| A really "cute" show, and at times very funny. It isn't the best show ever, but serves its purpose as a kid friendly and heart warming story, with good characters if somewhat weak plot(which of course doesn't matter for this type of show). Almost worth a download for the opening alone, one of my personal favorites from any anime. :D
The major flaw with PitaTen that holds it back is that it is very slow paced. While watching I got the feeling if it had been compressed into 13 eps instead of 26 it would be worlds better.
I wouldn't go out of my way to recommend this series to anyone, but if you are interested in it(as anyone who reads these reviews probably) check out a few eps, you might really enjoy it.

| A kids` show, and a very very well done kids show at that. Why don`t they show such strong shows to kids here? (cough cough, Ed, Edd, and Eddy fans...)
If you can`t stand cuteness, then you probably won`t like this. (I loved this anime, it`s probably one of the best I`ve seen in a long time. Now on to the review...
Animation: Very smooth, top notch. I like to judge animation by people running, and Pita-ten have very good running animation. Everything moves, from Ten-chan`s mole to Misha`s rabbit ears. Dai-chan`s rants with Kaoru are wonderfully animated, everything is clean, no discrepancies. I`m sold.
Sound: From the sound director of Da Capo, the music is very very catchy and "cute" (if one can call musical notes "cute"). Kotaro`s theme, Misha`s theme, Shia`s theme, and all the others are very memorable. The soundtrack is a good buy. The sound director really knows how to evoke emotion in the music, and I give him props for that. The opening song is ingenious, and it fits the cheery, cute mood very well. Ending song was nice too.
Story: The nuts and bolts of anime; if the story fails, what is there to watch? Pita-ten falls a bit short in story, since it is a kids show. Don`t expect a lot of suspense or violence or foreshadowing, there`s good old-fashioned comedy.
Character: This is where Pita-ten completely shines. The seven main characters are so well developed that I can rattle them off right here. They each have their own quirks and habits that are quite memorable and funny. This is one of the only anime that I can`t find a character that I hate; everyone is so lovable that it`s impossible to hate any of them. It`s also one of the first anime I watched that contains a responsible, sensible male lead. That`s ingenuity. Kotaro and his best buddy Ayanokouji along with Misha and Shia and Hiroshi and Kaoru Mitarai all are very ingenious characters. If I could, I would give a 11 in this category.
Value: I was glad I watched Pita-ten. I was skeptic at first, with the sugar-coated art style, but I realized that the sugar-coating wasn`t overbearing. The episode in the onsen still cracks me up to this day, and the last few episodes made me cry (and I don`t usually cry while watching anime).
Enjoyment: This is one of the top 10 anime I watched, right up there with PlanetES. If you haven`t gotten this little gem, get over to #spectre-anime and start leeching! Pita-ten is a pure masterpiece! If only kids shows were this deep in America...

| Pita Ten...a touching story about this sixth grader named Kotaro and a hyperactive angel called Misha.
Bottom Line: A very enjoyable anime with many side plots (all hilarious!) and teaches the meaning of the loss of an important person and the importance of friends.
Animation: Since this was a kids show developed from the same company who made Digi Charat, I wasn`t expecting much. However, the animation was top notch, beating out many other newer animes. Never once was there repeated cells, and characters blink, mouths move, and running animations weren`t reduced to shuffles (Da Capo...)
Sound: Brilliant. Music fits perfectly with the mood of the whole story. It`s very cheerful and uplifting. Opening song is very catchy, but the ending was standard J-pop at best. Every character in this anime has a specific music theme to it, and all sounded very nice and balanced out.
Story: Some people say this anime fell apart because of the episodic nature of the storyline and the lack of a central focus. BUT...each episode`s self contained story all had a meaning, whether for character development or for a moral lesson. Every episode, I felt was not for filler or waste. They all hold a special meaning to the general focus of the anime.
Character: One of the best set of characters ever made in the history of anime. 7 distinctive characters, each with its own deep storyline. None of them were very annoying, or overly cliched. (Except for Misha, who ended everything she said with a -su and ~teeheehee~). The characters were the strong point of this anime.
Value: I highly recommend this anime to anyone who appreciates anime. Very well done, with KAWAII (CUTE!!!) characters, a very deep and meaningful ending, (albeit a bit sad), and overall just lifts anyone`s day with an episode. Very funny, yet serious at the same time.
Enjoyment: I really liked Pita Ten. Very surprising, as the art will put off most but the bravest and libral anime viewers.
