| I really enjoyed this anme. Its heart warming and can be quite amusing. The artistic team did a great job with character development. While you fall in love with all the characters, Aoi fills a special place in your heart, similar to how Belldandy does in Ah! My Goddess. While not as strong in character devlopment as Ah! My Goddess, the story line is much stronger. Definately worth watching if you want to watch a romance anime. Techinically its a harem anime, but it is more of a romance than a harem.

| Ai Yori Aoshi is truly what every romantic anime fan is looking for. While other anime promise ecchi, romance and school-life, Ai Yori Aoshi has done a superb job at blending all three together. With a strong cast of characters, even enjoyable side-characters, Ai Yori Aoshi wil have every watcher believing in true-love; if only in anime form.

| Well i can somewhat say this is different harem story. Yes we have the one lucky fellow
Kaoru Hanabishi who is surrounded by five ladies. Okay what makes this different than other harem story is that Aoi Sakuraba is in love with Kaoru ever since she was a child.l She decided that she will become his wife. So she decides to leave for awhile and look for Kaoru. Well of course she finds him, but he says that he will not go back with her. The reason why is because of his past. He lost the title Hanabishi when he left the house. Reason, he did not find love their, just wanted to use him, and destroyed everything about his mother's existence. So the first 3 episodes are tragic events.
But after that we get the Sakuraba Mantion. The beginning of where the harem starts.
Okay first thing though. I watched this in English and it was disgusting. It didn't match any of the characters personalties. Also their was always an echo in each of their comments. Next thing i want to say is that this did not make me laugh at all. It had some terrible, stupid humor jokes. I thought it was pathetic. Maybe it would have been different if i didn't watch it in English.
I really didn't find the characters all that great. I mean they all well you can clearly see that every girl loves Kaoru, except Miyabi the manager. I mean the way they express their love was okay i suppose. But what makes this even worse is that this is mostly focused on Kauru. Yes of course he's the main character of the story, but what about Aoi? She doesn't really show up that much as a heroine. I mean come on she loves him since the beginning of the series at least show some love. But along the way of the series we got miss manager, Tina the booze girl, Taeko the clutz girl, Mayu the lovey dovey one, Chika a normal girl, and the idiot photoclub members. Yes and on the way each girl gets their own episode with Kaoru of course. But each one of these girls except the manager share something similar about Kauro's past. So that makes the story interesting.
Ai Yori Aoshi has some pretty good romatic scenes that I've seen. So if you love love-romance then this is your spot right here.

| I've seen some of the reviews posted here.Yes I agree with some of them, not all.Ai Yori Aoshi falls under a Drama/Romance as well as school life which is my taste of anime.I do not like Harem animes but this is one exception.Though it is Harem but the fact is that i can only feel the love(perhaps?) between Aoi and Kaoru.
Although Mayu did fantasize about being Kaoru's wife,i guess Mayu only regards Kaoru as somebody very important to her in the sense of maybe a kin that care a lot of her.
I believe that Taeko just respected or admire Kaoru.Despite the beach episode and the one after that,Taeko's love for Kaoru doesn't really had any chance to compare with Aoi.
Tina is a different one.At first,I thought that Tina's case would be the same(not really especially the night when with Kaoru alone) until the hotel episode.Yes,she did blushed whenever Kaoru did something intimate with her but can you really feel any more of Tina's love to Kaoru especially when you finished the sequel Ai Yori Aoshi Enishi(the last two episode).More of friendship, aren't it?
I always thought that Harem animes would always disappoint me.Ai Yori Aoshi is one that don't and I enjoyed it honestly.I feel that Ai Yori Aoshi don't deserve rating as low as 4-5 or even lower(maybe because you just don't like Romance or Harem anime).Overall,it is still an anime well done.

| I avoided this anime for awhile until I saw this AWESOME review by some guy. So what the hell right? It HAS to be good.
*On a side note, why do we review animation? Who cares how good the animation is if the anime sucks @ss?
The negatives:
-After watching 2 episodes, it becomes horribly boring for pretty much the whole series.
-The characters are stereotypical with NOTHING new to add to the genre of harem animes. The same old insanely subservient female lead. Shes just cuter and sweeter than most.
-The reasoning why there is love for the main char. HEY IM 5 YEARS OLD, I FALL IN LOVE WITH THE MAIN CHARACTER BECAUSE HES NICE. AFTER 15 YEARS I STILL LOVE THIS GUY WITH ALL MY HEART (is it just me or is this just pathetic)
-Falling, tripping, unbelievable situations that result in the main character blushing alot over other characters.
-The characters are for once, COLLEGE AGE and yet they are still SUPREMELY innocent in regards to the opposite sex. WHAT PLANET are they from? In the cities of Japan, finding a virgin at the age of 16 is going to be practically impossible. Not in anime though! 90% of them havent even kissed a guy by the age of 21! Its just unbelievable in every way.
The positives:
+Its pretty to look at.
+A sweeter than average harem anime with virtually no drama.

| I really enjoyed this anime a lot.
A friend told me that I was going to be addicted to this anime and it happened. At first I thought the story was a little weird, but it got me hooked until the end of both seasons. There were some things I liked and some things I didn't like.
The animation was really good and so was the art. The music was fine. The story was cute but they could have done a better job introducing everyone. Everyone just sort of pop out of nowhere and started living together. This isn't a pick the girl you like type of anime. Since the start of the Anime the love is about the two main characters. This part I liked about the anime. Usually you have a harem anime that starts good but because they pick the wrong girl it just adds drama and everything just go down him. I can name a few animes like that.
This anime is really good and I do recommend it. It has two season but I don't think that's the end of it. If it is the end then the anime will leave you with so many questions left unanswered like a lot of anime nowadays.

| Ai Yori Aoshi is a surprisingly fun and fresh harem anime, with its moments of romance. Despite all the worries I had going into the show about too cliche storyline, unsatisfactory romance developments and the like, I had a good time watching AYA. AYA's best charm is how fun all the characters are when they are put together. While I wouldn't go so far as to say that they are all far different from all other harem anime personalities, they have certainly got their own unique personality quirks. Furthermore, I feel that despite each character's initial 'front', that their feelings are actually quite genuine. That aside, AYA is a pretty cute anime with fresh scenarios, dialogue and its share of dramatic scenes. I definitely didn't feel like I was watching 'another one of those harems'.
AYA begins in a pretty melodramatic fashion. The first 3-4 episodes deal with pretty tragic stories and unhappy events. However, soon things change quite quickly and it follows the usual harem progression. Different girls get their lives mixed up in the main male character's life and one by one they all end up living together. However, things are slightly different with the fact that Aoi (Kaoru's childhood friend and past fiance) becomes fiance-by-name to Kaoru. However, in order to keep some certain factors stable, their relationship has to be a secret, so it goes for a relatively more chaotic storyline. So far, things sound pretty cliche - however, I laughed and chuckled a lot in their funny situations. Furthermore, there were quite a few heart-wrenching moments as Kaoru is in a pinch between remaining faithful to Aoi versus giving away to the mood with other girls.
Another one of AYA's strong points include the production quality. I genuinely felt that they put a lot of effort into the animation, despite the relatively simplistic character designs. Background and backdrop details are not obvious at first, but they really do enhance the viewing experience. They also put a lot of effort in overall realism, including general anatomy of body parts - i.e. breasts, arms, legs, hands, joints, etc. Sound effects were quite nice as well, timely, and effective. Although the OP and ED weren't always too impressive because they were generally more dramatic and sad (and most of the episodes ended in a more happy fashion), music was generally pretty effective at the right times. Good deal in production quality.
Like I mentioned before, AYA character personalities have their quirks and unique points. Nevertheless, underneath their odd behavior, they are pretty basic. I guess that's the best one can do in a harem anime. What's more interesting is the conflict over the same guy issue. A lot of it is pretty indirect, especially in the beginning. A lot of the humor in AYA is based on the fact that Aoi is indirectly engaged to Kaoru and no one knows that. Therefore, as each girl falls in love with Kaoru, there creates this sort of unseen tension and turmoil within (especially Aoi). Aoi is the more shy and reserved one who is good at housechores. Tina is the loud and rowdy one who likes to make random comments, but is kind hearted. Taeko is a kind of ditzy, clumsy and clueless one. Mayu is kind of loli - but she's pretty aggressive and forthcoming. Chika is even more loli, but more energetic and able-bodied than her cousin Taeko. Sounds pretty generic, but their feelings are expressed in a more dynamic way that creates some interesting character chemistry. Caught up in the middle of this all is the nice-guy Kaoru; alone from childhood, but now enjoying everyone's company. Kaoru is type two of the harem guy personalities: the nice guy (as opposed to the awkward/clumsy guy). He is kind of similar to that guy in Da Capo, but a little more realistic and not excessively doing that 'kindness' thing.
As for AYA's weakness, it'd be the same for every harem - not enough one on one character development, especially in the romance department. However, for a harem, I feel that this beats Da Capo (my previous preferred harem). What else... kind of a pet peeve that almost every girl here gets thrown into the maid position almost immediately when they are introduced into the house. Also, Aoi doesn't get much screen time towards the latter half. Another thing is that the story gets pretty predictable at parts.
Overall: AYA is a pretty good harem anime for those who like harem. Some might find it unimpressive, due to the lack of a flowing and progressing storyline - but most of the time harem animes just build off a pretty simplistic idea anyway. For this, AYA is basically a harem where all the girls (except Aoi) share a similar character history with male character. In general, AYA is most interesting for its humor scenes not for any real romantic development. While there are some pretty sweet romance moments and heart wrenching dialogue, there's hardly enough to completely satisfy a love-romance anime maniac. Therefore, just sit back and relax: AYA is a fun and enjoyable harem anime that leaves a good feeling.

| After several attempt of watching Love-Romance/Comedy/Harem genre's i ended up at Ai Yori Aoshi. At first glance the story was ok, but when i first started to watch Episode one, i was really intrested in more. The way it's build up, the way they meet, it's like real Destiny or something. I was moved by it's story, and how throughout the story they still loved each other. This Anime is a great pride of it's genre, definalty a MUST SEE!

| I really enjoyed this anime, even though it had its ups and downs, but for the most part it was a joy ride. The first few episodes really hooked me in when Aoi and Karou meet up after parting many years ago as childhood friends. Aoi’s persistence to remember the boy Karou kept her going for all those years and she bettered herself so to be his wife. Once she is at an age in which she can visit him by herself she decides to take a risk and leaves her wealthy family; a family in which the father chooses her husband. She wants to see if he is the same kind and caring person, and when they meet up by chance – Karou is all that and more.
I really enjoyed the main character pair; they are both very likeable and easy to cheer for. Karou is a kind guy that is always helping others and never tries to be perverted like most characters in these types of animes. Aoi is the perfect wife in a sense that she will do everything and anything for you; she is so perfect that in a sense it is almost an unreal fantasy. Then again it adds to a fantasy setting rather than a realistic setting, and if you can get past that you will really enjoy their relationship as they really have great chemistry between them. They are my favorite couple in any anime.
However, once they story made a 180 after episode 4 or 5, they now have to live in a mansion owned by Aoi’s guardian Miyabi. This is when I started to dislike the anime a bit. The story went from a perfect romance to a harem anime. This really turned me off since I didn’t like the fact that all these other girls coming between their relationship and the fact that they had to hide their relationship now because she is forbidden to be with a normal person. Then again if you think about it, how far can the story go when in the first few episodes the main characters fall in love and confess their feelings and all is well... Not all that far I suppose. So turning it into a harem to spice up things is good in a way. It just got under my nerves sometimes when the two had to hide all the time, it made no sense why they had to hide their feelings, it gives the viewer plenty of irritability when the secondary characters interrupt them. Well at least it did for me.
Once the secondary characters were introduced and had been around for a while I started to like them a little more and got used to the idea about how the story is meant to run. I still think overall the story is weakened by not giving developing the plot in any way. Basically it’s all about a guy staying in a house where a whole bunch of girls like him but he cannot be with the one he really likes. There is always some predicament Aoi and Karou or Karou and one of the other girls have to get out of as to not give people the wrong idea. However this happens over and over and can become very tiresome since the story stands still while all you get is potential flesh and skin scenes (fan service as they call it).
Once the last few episodes come around the story starts to get a move on and it becomes more enjoyable. There are many touching sequences in this part of the show, then again almost all sequences between Karou and Aoi are very touching – they really carry this anime to be considered “great” due to the sweet relationship they have. The ending however is very bad, not a kind of ending the viewer wants to see. However I was not as bitter about it when I found out there was a sequel.
The only secondary character I really liked was Tina, she had a diverse personality and didn’t seem to be there just to be in the way and take up space (cough Taeko cough). She had a really funny laugh, and being American was such a funny thing for me to bare. She was the only person that could rival Karou’s love, too bad they didn’t build on their relationship a little more to make a more dramatic triangle that would make more sense rather than just make Karou bump into naked girls and other stupid coincidences like that. They really could have built up on some of the other characters and their relationships, the only ones that were very well done were the lead characters – as I said two of my favorites, especially Aoi.
Overall I really enjoyed it, the beginning is classic, the middle is fun and the last few episodes were touching (not the ending though – not conclusive). I recommend this to anyone who wants to watch a romance with a little bit of comedy half way though and with plenty of touching moments throughout. If only the whole show could be more like the first few episodes this will be considered more than great.

| I'd never thought I'd enjoy a series quite like Ai Yori Aoshi, a harem series with romantic intrigue and dramatic undertones in some veins. This series does recieve much acclaim in terms of its comedy and romantic appeal, and it's no wonder why. This series arguably has the best character chemistry, sweet romantic scenes, and simple plays on humor than any harem series I've seen to date, and thus it earns the title as being one of my favorites in that regard. Alas, I can't say that I think Ai Yori Aoshi is complete perfection. The story is somewhat predictable in some veins, and there were parts of it that seemed a bit...well...farfetched and generic. Unfortunately, it does fall into every harem cliche in the book, but it's warranted since it's one of the series that pioneered the genre.
Animation is quite good in terms of cel production and character design. Music is quite lovely and I couldn't complain on most regards with the background themes as well as the vocal performance. Voice acting is quite convincing and suiting to each of the characters. Story is a bit of a give and take: good in premise, but not as well executed in some parts. Character construction is well crafted on most points, yet the shoes to fill in terms of the cliched premises are somewhat of a deterrent. Bah, but if you're a true fan of cute romantic series and decent characters to watch, you won't care about cliches in the least. Thus, I'd give this a ranking as a new favorite and recommend it to those who love the genre as well as those outside of it who want a good romantic-comedy-drama to try.

| Oh...boy. Ai Yori Aoshi. At first glance, it's your typical harem anime with a generic guy surrounded by several good-looking females. And actually, most of it is a typical harem, which is why I can't stick a "SUPER GOOD" label on this anime, but it's still watchable.
Take a single episode, and you can either classify it as plot development, characterization, or just good ol' fanservice. If you do this with every episode, you'll find that plot development is severely lacking. The main points of the story are already established in the first few episodes, and then comes a score of pure harem episodes. Okay. I'm sure that that would bore a whole lot of you guys, but I personally didn't mind much. I'm a sucker for good harem animes, and the characters were decent. Most of them were shallowly developed, but the two leads, Aoi and Kaoru, had a deeper chemistry to them that was more than just mindless desire.
Ai Yori Aoshi had lots of potential that it never fulfilled. If only there was more plot and less fanservice, then you would see this anime in the top 10. But judging from it is and not what it could've been, Ai Yori Aoshi is a well-done story with a bit too much icing, but enjoyable nonetheless.

| Ai Yori Aoshi (Love from Aoshi) is the story of two people, Aoi Sakuraba, and Karou Hanabishi. Childhood friends, these two meet years later when Karou is going to college. Aoi's family is wealthy, as was Karou's. However, Karou turned his back on his family after they rejected his mother.
When they meet again, they are told to live in a mansion owned by the Sakuraba family. Then Karou's friend Tina shows up and moves in. After that, Takeo, another photography club member, gets a job as maid there. Next another childhood friend of Karou's, Mayu, becomes the second maid. Karou and Aoi have a lot of trouble finding time for each other afterwards. Aoi's father decides he wants her to marry someone else.

| Overall, this anime was very bland and lacked much excitement, drama, and adversity. The whole series was pretty uninteresting, and was predictable from the very start.
The animation was the only good part of the series, as to be expected of this recently released anime. The character models are all well done and interesting (though I wonder about Tina's fangs) and the backgrounds are pretty good.
The sound is boring, cheesy, and completely forgetable. Also, the voices for Tina and Mayu were pretty annoying, though I suppose it fit their personalities.
The story was fairly pathetic. Completely generic and predictable, no true plot twists (even the one at the end was very predictable and therefore lacked tension and drama), and all of the "conflicts" and "dramatic" scenes were about as dramatic and tension-filled as an episode of Care Bears (like: "ohmygosh the ferret is stuck behind the clock!" or "ohno we ran out of pickles!")
Also, the complete lack of drama in Aoi's and Karou's relationship made it boring, and it was surprising to me that in a harem anime of this type there was no conflict between Aoi or Kaoru and any of the girls over their feelings for Kaoru. For me, this lack of conflict and the ease with which they seem to maintain their secret relationship was completely unrealistic and ruined the story.
The characters, for the most part, were bland, a bit annoying, and fairly stereotypical and outrageous. Tina, who grabs other girl's breasts all the time and fondles them; and Aoi, though endearing and cute, the stereotypical wife from the 1300s were both fairly one-dimensional. In fact, most of the characters, except Miyabi and Kaoru, show little to no depth and no development. Overall, while each character was "cute" and a bit amusing, none were truly memorable and interesting.
This anime holds little to no value. If you want to watch a romance/drama anime, there was much better ones (Kimi Ga Nozomu Ein) and if you want a harem anime, go watch Oh! My Goddess or Love Hina. I will never be watching this series again.
I did not really enjoy this anime; while it was cute and was at least interesting enough for me to finish the series, I did not find myself wishing there were more episodes, such as in animes I truly enjoy.

| The main stream of this anime is a very romantic scene between the young couple sakuraba aoi and hanabishi kaoru.
Their relationship grows throughout the series, taking various twists and turns, giving one a feeling of clarity, then just as soon dashing you with doubt. Their relationship kept a big secret from their peers they slowly move forward. (Better 2 watch it than I explain why.^_^)
A foreboding anxiety and desire for their relationship to progress well were my main thoughts while watching. If you place yourself in the main characters shoes you get a awsomely real feeling of what he`s going through. Making you root for him all the way, hoping he makes the right choices.
On the side however, kaoru encounters many cute disturbances that enter his path.
Will the secret be kept? Can their love be maintained?
Watch for yourself and see the outcome!
If the imagination is there and the heart is right, its easy to fly through episode
after episode, of this wonderful anime. I do not have a single regret watching it and it certainly lies right there, topping my list of favourites at number one. I can`t give it anything but 10.
Different people have different taste but if yours is anything remotely like mine you won`t be able to sleep peacefully another night without every episode. ^_^

| Nice drawings, very bright and neatly done. Overall forgettable. Slapstick humor now and then, but mostly the same groping and slipping+falling over and again. The main girl, Aoi, is way too traditional and doting. It's kind of sickening. She cries in nearly every episode...come on now. She has no personality, she only serves to fawn over the main guy.
Miyabi is a beautiful, professional type and I give some credit for that. I would have liked to see more story on her. She was older and the only character I will remember from the series. Unlike most of the characters, she showed some semblance of personality at least in the beginning. Toward the end even that started to fade as she too turned somewhat doting and less bit--y than she was in the start. She was mean in a sexy way though, it was great until that faded.
Love Hina blows this away, but I compare everything to that gold standard of mine. There's very little romantic tension here, and the little there is isn't serious or lasting. It's just very harem--all of the girls showing a crush on the main guy at some point or another. The songs were pretty forgettable too. Similar to LH, this show involves a mansion where random people with unimportant backgrounds come to live with the main guy. None of them seemed to have much going on except their antics in the mansion--except for a few who attended college, most seemed to occupy themselves doing maid work in the mansion. How many people are needed to cook and clean every day? Seeing as Aoi had no life, it should have been solely her responsibility.
Really I would have liked to see a series just on Miyabi, as I thought her character was the only one worth pursuing for a story. Her scenes were the only ones (some with Tina too) that warranted watching in 1x speed instead of 2x speed, since the show moved slowly and didn't have substantial plotlines to worry about scrutinizing. The scenes with Tina and the main guy I did enjoy though--too bad there were few.

| Ai Yori Aoshi is a harem anime that tries very hard to be a romance. And this is what makes it worth watching.
Tha animation is bright and cheerful. After a grim series like Monster, this served as perfect foil to it. The colours are lively and one can't help but getting a little cheery after this. I loved the opening song - nicely sung and very catchy. The seiyuu were of Aoi was very nicely done. Other seiyuu also did their job nicely with the exception of Kaoru's seiyuu - whenever he shows exclaim or screams it reminded me of 3 year old bawling.
The story of Ai Yori Aoshi keeps osscillating between a harem and a love-romance story. It is not a mature romance but rather a puppy-love romance. Very cute - and quite enjoyable to a certain extent. The initial episodes were well done - but then when other females get thrown in, it boils down to ecchi which lasts around half the series (12 episodes). The romance keeps popping up every now and then keeping the series from sinking lower. The last 3 episodes were nicely done.
The characters of AYA are okayish. Obviously my favourite would be Aoi ;-) Considering she is so cute and devoted it is easy to see why she is so poular in the anime community. She does however gets on your nerves considering she cries once every episode - whether due to sadness or happiness - kinda lame. Other good characters would be Miyabi and Kaoru - the lead. He breaks the stereotypical mold of an unwavering lead harem hero. However you have your bunch of annoying ones as well like Tina and Mayu. But by the end, you get used to them, becoming sort of indifferent to them.
AYA won me over by its cheerfulness and it's puppy-love. This is perfect stuff when you are bored and want some light comedy with a cute romance. Considering I watched this after Monster (dark thriller), this served as a good compliment to it and I thus enjoyed this quite a lot.
Update: Watched some parts of the series again. It's at max OK stuff. Aoi's crying now is similar to a glycerin factory working overtime.

| I.. am.. totally in love with this anime.
Poor Love Hina. It was finally knocked down by this great anime, Ai Yori Aoshi!!
One thing about Love Hina and Ai Yori Aoshi; although they have similar aspects, you can't really compare the two for one ENORMOUS fact. The main boy, Kaoru, is not, IN FACT, a pervert like most of these comedy-romances. In fact, he's just the opposite: loving, caring, and knowledgable type. Another huge diffrence, is the fact that that the boy actually has a spine! Anyways..
Animation and Sound:
Animation was rather good. I wouldn't know much, since I bought an HK version of the DVDs. Quality is a little under par with thoses. I loved the background music they used when they had them. Also loved both the OP and ED themes.
Story and Character:
Ahh. I love the story. I got some tears in my eyes a few episodes or so. But then again, I wish there was some challenging parts for the story. Like those parts where they keep you watching, because you need to figure out if he goes back to loving her and all that stuff? Yeah. Need more "Umph" into the story, or else the anime feels flat, at least to me. Characters remind me of the usual 'Love Hina' type characters. You got the main, the clown, the serious, the childish, all those great stuff. I wish the character model for the main girl, Aoi, was diffrent. So many girls have that type of hair. But then again, it is cute in it's own way.
Value and Enjoyment:
Value is way up there. I love it so much. I also enjoyed it very much. Oh man, it knocked Love Hina off my shelf. But once again, you can't really compare the two.
Remember, don't compare it to Love Hina. If you like those 'love hina' type anime, with less perverted thoughts, and a bit more romance, then this anime is perfect for you. Just get ready for a few flat points.

| Wow. This is really a great anime.
Not exactly a harem type because Kaoru (the male guy of the series) is not exactly a perv dude, I think he is kind and gentle most of the time.
Not exactly a romance type because from time to time the producers have chosen to throw us semi-echi escenes that only guys could appreciate. Nothing disturbing although. But I disliked them, because without them this anime would be extremely good.
Forget those and you have a really wonderfull love history between a super-lovely cute japanese girl and this lucky guy that is always surrounded by pretty girls.
Some people dare to compare Ai yori aoshi with Love Hina, I don't think it's fair, Love Hina was for me a really wonderfull anime the first time I saw it, but right now is very very low in my personal ranking, Ao yori aoshi however stand above a lot of animes I have seen.

| Ai Yori Aoshi starts off as what seems to be a very interesting romance story, before it twists into a misformed harem type anime.
As someone else has already pointed out below, it's not exactly a harem because there is no wavering by our male lead, but it is a harem, as it presents several female choices to one male appraiser, and other males barely exist in the anime (ie, no competition).
The setting for this smorgasboard selection is nice though not overly exciting, and while the format follows some fairly standardized anime conventions, such as a beach episode and a test of courage, Ai Yori Aoshi presents well, feels good, and ends up being an overall good romance anime.

| Long ago I've watched Love Hina. I liked it very much. When I've heard about Ai Yori Aoshi I thought it will be a cheap LH-ripoff, but after watching it I ended up liking this series more than Love Hina...
