| Ojamajo Doremi is one of the best mahou shoujo shows ever. Heck, It IS the best in the genre. This movie does great justice for the second season, albeit being too short for a full length movie. Every episode of Doremi teaches some kind of moral, mixed in with drama and overly kawaii-ness. Kids SHOULD watch this show, way better than DBZ or Naruto.
Animation: Coming from a movie, of course the animation will be top notch, matching most anime movies, like Cowboy Bebop and Slam Dunk. All the characters (except for Momoko) is in here, and character designs stayed the same according to the second season. Everything moves, and there`s greater detail in the magical kingdom than expected from the regular TV series. Frames seemed to have upped too, as there`s no repeated cells and the transformations got brighter.
Sound: Gorgeous music. The transformation music is still stuck in my head, and the OP and ED were pure gentle J-pop songs that fits perfectly into the genre. Seiyuus did their jobs well, although Pop can sound annoying at times. and Hazuki`s voice sounds very high. Anyways each character was voiced with emotion, and says the magical phrases non-cheesily (unlike sailor moon or nurse angel rurika).
Story: Since it`s only a 30 minute "movie", the producers had to rush the plot a bit. It`s about Doremi`s sister Pop, who was very jealous at Doremi for being first in the family in everything, including magic training. During a sneak trip to The Land of Mahou, Pop found one of the Queen`s sacred flowers that can grant any wish at the cost of the roses` life. There`s a catch, as each negative with will turn the rose blacker and blacker, until it molts away, unable to grant any more wishes. Soon enough, Pop picks the flower and the flower escapes from Pop and wrecks havoc in the human world. Since human nature is always full of evil thoughts, the rose turns blacker and blacker. In the end, the girls mangage to save everything back to normal, but it was a bittersweet ending, as each girl learns a lesson concerning family love and human nature.
Character: The best part of the Ojamajo Doremi series. Each girl breaks the mold of generic mahou shoujo heroine, and of course have very distinct personalities. There`s clumsy Doremi, smart Hazuki, athletic Aiko, and the school idol Onpu Segawa (my fav character). Each have a distinct transformation style, and not one of them is overly annoying.
Value: Ojamajo Doremi is the best childrens show ever. It`s so popular, even in France and Italy they have dedicated stores selling Doremi wares. I hope Fox Kids doesn`t !@##$ up this show like they did with Escaflowne.
Enjoyment: This Doremi movie was like a regular TV episode stuffed with even more kawaii and moral goodness. A very decent watch, but it was too short.

| The second season is much better than the first one.Onpu is now, like the other, another ojamajo.
And their mission is to take care of the baby Hana.
Every episod is different.Mostly it is about one of their classmates and their problems. And there is no sight of "the monster of the week" that is so common in other magical girl shows.
If you love magical girls and cute anime series, like i do^^, you will not be dissapionted!
