| Wie der Name schon sagt handelt es sich hier um eine Reihe an Special-Episoden die im Schnitt eine Länge von 5-7 Minuten aufweisen. Leider sind diese Episoden inhaltlich ziemlich matt und bringen das von YUA gewohnte Flair nur extrem selten rüber. Was geschulten YUA-Zuschauern wohl direkt und sprichwörtlich ins Auge sticht ist der recht häufig ausgespielte, für YUA eher untypische Fanservice, welcher sich in so gut wie jeder Episoden verstärkt bemerkbar macht und das auf eine Art die eher nervig und plump rüber kommt als unterhaltsam. Ein Großteil der Episoden dreht sich um irgendwelche perversen Strolche, die unanständige Sachen treiben und nach kurzem Hin und her von Natsumi und Miyuki gefasst werden. Die Riege reicht hier vom standardmäßigen Höschendieb, bis hin zu Stalkern, Voyeuren und Toilettenspannern. Das starke Geschlecht kommt hier sowieso nicht unbedingt gut weg, denn irgendwie sind so gut wie alle im Laufe dieses Specials auftretenden männlichen Vertreter unserer Gattung, entweder Sittenstrolche, rüpelhafte Verkehrsrowdys oder sonstige Kleinkriminelle. Wie auch immer, die einzelnen Episoden sind vom Skript her ziemlich einfallslos, extrem simpel gestrickt und lassen kaum Kreativität erkennen. Das sich ständig wiederholende Muster vom fiesen Verbrecher der aus welchen Gründen auch immer von Natsumi, Miyuki & Co. gejagt wird ist auf die Dauer einfach viel zu monoton und ermüdend. Selbst die Episoden die mal einen anderen Inhalt haben können nicht glänzen und die Comedy im Allgemeinen hatte ich auch um einiges besser, von den vorangegangenen YUA-Serien, in Erinnerung. Ich zumindest, habe bei allen 20 Eps keine einzige Miene verzogen und fühlte mich stark von dem Ganzen angeödet. Auch den Charakteren ist die bekannte, charmante Ausstrahlung irgendwie abhanden gekommen. Sie legen in so gut wie jeder Episode das gleiche Verhaltensmuster an den Tag und es wird auf Dauer langweilig ihnen zuzuschauen. Im Endeffekt hat dieses Special etwas von einer Mogelpackung die vorgibt YUA zu sein, es aber dann doch nicht wirklich ist. Als hätte man hier versucht den ganzen Fanservice den man in den TV-Serien nicht integriert hat, hier reinzuquetschen und unter dessen Einfluss vergessen was YUA immer ausgezeichnet hat. Nur für absolute Hardcore-Fans!

| I really cannot enjoy this, after seeing through all of it. It may be 20 eps, but its actually 6 eps with 20 mins each, and all are short stories aiming for fan service and really nothing here.
Almost everything is bad here, and when you've seen the TV series1 and series 2 the OVA ep, then you know that this is so inferior that there is no way that you will keep this unless youre a YUA hardcore fan.

| The You're Under Arrest mini-specials were my introduction to this series. They were very dissappointing only like 5 min. long each. (Damn Short). I've heard good things about the regular T.V. series so I will continue to watch despite the subpar showing of these short specials. If you want to know why these SHORT specials rated so lowly read my review.

| If someone asked me if I was a fan of You're Under Arrest I would undoubtfully say yes. With my only real complaint of the entire franchise being the lenght of the first television series, YUA is a fun story that's a blast to watch.
Unfortunatly this series of 20 short stories in no way does the series justice. Made in between TV series 1 and 2, the YUA specials are made up mostly of stories involving perverted criminals and panty theifs. It was fun to watch for the first few stories as we're treated to some fanservice of the lovley ladies of Bokuto Station, but after the half-way mark it realy gets tiring. The quality of the specials themselves are almost that of TV season 1 at best, with the animation taking some serious dives sometimes. None of the characters realy shine in these eps as they're so short and nothing realy happens, which is a shame, because these specials could have realy been something good.
Worthwhile for the YUA fan and collector, but please dont let this be your first experience with YUA. You'll be getting a bad impression of a terrific group of shows.

| I love You're Under Arrest. OVAs, first TV series, second TV series, the movie, the special where they're LAPD--all of them are great. All of them EXCEPT the specials, a bunch of 7-minute shorts.
The specials had the potential to be really good, like the Mini-Goddess spinoff of Ah Megami-sama, but the YUA specials are God-awful. They're mainly pulled from the manga, but they're from the earlier manga chapters where the writing wasn't as good. The characters have the same VAs, but in the specials, Miyuki and Natsumi have a sadistic streak, and every person they meet is a panty thief or some other kind of lowlife or pervert--nowhere near the quality of any other YUA stuff. Unless you're dying for YUA fanservice (and there isn't all that much) I'd skip this.

| This series is the worst. 10 minutes of all same episodes nearly. The odd situations were mainly the perverted cop guys trying to see Natsumi and Miyuki undressing/naked or stealing their underwear. The first three episodes or so were great but after that you notice the horribly animation, the childish perverted plots, the crappy music, and you wish that it was better.
Of course it isn't all that bad, anyone that's a hardcore YUA fan would get it no matter how much it sucks, to them I say "Good for you!"
