| Well, a little warning first. This review is absolutely subjective and I put the ratings on how I felt about it, not what it is like compared to other anime. :)
This review is comming from a big MMBN fan, so my impressions about the anime might be based on it a little bit.
Oh yes, I watched a sub, not the dub version.
Anyway, so... Overall I enjoyed watching this. I think the makers did a great job on this. Why? It's really hard to make anime based on game.

| Not as good as Megaman axess, but it was still good. Okay, not 'good', okay is a better word. The animation is still awesome, but the sound was not as good as axess. I wish I could stop comparing, but I can't. This is just a major disappointment when you watch Megaman Axess!
The characters are cute, and I love them all. =^-^= Feeling a bit lazy right now, so I'll review the rest later.

| Alright, first off, I watched only the fan subs and three episodes of the US Dub
Now shall we get into full character and "Plug in" to Rockman.EXE?
Alright, a Sci-fi-ish anime, not all high tech, but better than Windows at least =P... So..the story was meh-ish, but still interesting, I spent most of my days yelling at my computer going "FINISH! FINISH!" for the next episode, seeing as practically anything could happen.
The Characters:
You have a good layout here, the dweeb who always pulls it off with the help of his partners, a government agent who seems like a pain, but can be really nice, also really talented. THen there's the backup cast, which you could really say isn't in the background, but bleh. Your rich girl who is quickly changed into a adventurous little runt, your in the middle tomboy who is MORE than wililng to kick your butt and take a name, and your fat boy who can't get anything right.
Then the ebil doods, who are so clumsy they probably couldn't tie their own shoes, but they could kill the goodie goodies if they REALLY tried, wait what am I saying? XD
Music: A good techno-mix that they made to fit the situation
This is a keeper, strong on the humor, action, klutziness, and odd hair.
I really enjoyed watching this series in a week, yes you heard me right ALL 56 EPS IN A WEEK XD
as for the dub:
Stay away, stay very far away

| Strangly enough I watched this jap with english sub so I might miss a couple mirrors a long the way. Maybe that's why this series doesn't please me as much as other long crappy series like pokemon or Yu-gi-oh. Also, I'm sure you probably know what rockman/megaman can do right? I mean a couple rockbuster *beam* *beam* and all the virus gone bye bye. Simple stuff and since it base on simple game, this point is drag them down a lot.
Is this series suck? Yes It suck ineed.

| Well, as a dub watcher, all of the stats I did are based completely on the dub. For an overall reveiw I have to say that it is very well thought out story. Though the music sucks and is annoying at times, I do think this Anime is worth watching, even for older kids who are into more explict Anime, like me XP

| Ein weiterer Anime der auf einem erfolgreichen Videospiel basiert und auch nicht vom großen Einfluss des "Pokemon-Prinzips" verschont wurde. Anstatt Monster gegeneinander antreten zu lassen kämpfen die Kids hier mit ihren Megamännern, geben Befehle und versorgen sie mit Powerups. In punkto Story bekommen wir das typische "Gut VS Böse-Szenario" vorgesetzt und jeh weiter die Serie fortschreitet desto besser und stärker werden die Männchen, was man bei einer solchen Serie als Charakterentwicklung bezeichnet. Feinde werden zu Freunden, der Bösewicht wird besiegt und kehrt irgendwann noch stärker und gefährlicher zurück, die Welt ist in Gefahr, unsere Helden müssen sie retten uswus... Dieser Anime ist mehr dem jüngeren Publikum zu empfehlen, ansonsten dürften sich hier nur Rockmanfans angesprochen fühlen. Allen anderen rate ich großen Abstand von dieser Serie zu halten, lohnt sich wirklich nicht!

| Rockman.EXE, put simply, is an anime based on the popular Megaman series of console games. There are many appearances from the game in this anime such as most of the bosses, which like Rockman is now also player (operator) semi-controlled Navis, as well as many of the the lesser enemies which play the part of the viruses in the cyber world. An interesting idea but unfortunately executed in a way that will most likely appeal only to kids. The catch is that the target audience should also have played the games in order to appreciate this anime fully, and the games have gotten a bit old by now which makes the ones who played them also a bit too old to appreciate this kind of show.
Nevertheless, the childish and outright silly things aside, its still funny and entertaining... at least in the beginning to mid-season. After that the minor story element that existed took a nosedive in favor of filler material.
The season ends with many plotholes and unanswered questions, but perhaps it will all work in in Rockman.EXE Axess? Time will tell, but in the meantime... can i recommend this? Hmm, sure. But only if you can stomach the fact that you're too old for this ;)

| Well, I was actually rather fond of this anime when I started watching it. I played the game, which naturally made me curious. It's a fairly good rendition of the game, and has the same problem as the game: it keeps going. As they headed into the the new material, style changes and onward, things quickly took a turn for the worse. While the first season had a clear progression, the second season has nothing to keep it going except for the general defeat the bad guys plot. A show that was already admittedly not far above mediocre lost whatever soul it had, and in the end, I can't recommend Rockman EXE.

| Review of Rockman EXE:
I definitely found this very enjoying, and I'm honestly not sure why. While it does have some very unique elements to it (like the way the internet is protrayed as a completely different world) it is, at it's core, nothing more than your average action series for young boys, like Pokemon or Medabots. Yet, for some reason, this series truly captured my attention and interest far more than the typical action shows mentioned above were able to.
As far as shonen action series go, I wouldn't put it up on the same plane as something like Shaman King simply because of just how many cliches Rockman EXE falls into, but as a whole, this is a very solid and entertaining series I recommend any shonen action series lover to check out. I give it a full-out 9.0
As for the English version:
Yikes! I would have expected so much better from ShoPro, the distributor that brought over Inuyasha along with Viz. Based on their history, they aren't the type to butcher a series for TV like this, yet they did just that! Re-written dialogue, cheesy one-liners, awful techno-music - all the makings of a butchered dub! I will admit that the dubbing isn't all that terrible (save for Meiru's less than unenthusiastic VA) but aside from that, I can only recommend all to steer clear of the dubbed version airing on Kids' WB!

| I grew up playing Megaman, from the first game to the Megaman X series.
I even liked the megaman cartoon when I was a kid.
So I was kinda excited to see what this had to offer.
And what did it show for it?
The same formula thats in Yugioh, Card Captors, Pokemon and Digimon.
Some offer, huh?
But it is for the kids. About a few months later I found out its gonna air with the rest of these shows.
No kidding-_-

| It really is a shame that they couldn't be more serious trying to bring the great games alive as anime.. Instead of the plain, immature and clumsy ROCKMAN EXE that has been created, I would've preferred a more realistic representation for Rockman / Megaman games.. Rush was a total disappointment, not to mention my new, horrible nightmare called the Coloredman..

| It is a very unique system to the world. But there seems to be a lot of flaws in the operating system of the Net Navis. A lot of questions to it. The battle scenes are not much to look at. They could have spent more on making the fighting more realistic and interesting. The first 25 episodes were great, with a good story but the 2nd part sucks, without much of a connected story. Shows the unpreparedness. Could have been a very very good anime. Much more for kids but still i watch it everyweek.

| Actually the plot was pretty good , all those net battles and navis stuff was fantastic.....but the story dragged too long and theres too few/short battles that's why i gave a 7 ........But the problem is that the stupid CapCom dun even wanna care about the battle stuff,the battle should be made more interesting as net battling was the main focus in rockman EXE ,anyways,they do not know how to make an anime like that,if they do it rite ,it'll probably be one of the best anime, maybe b'coz it's mild violent......it's not so suitable for me , a 14yr old boy.....
As a rockman X + Zero fan......i enjoy watching it , along with some dissapointment.

| Well, I am a very great fan of the Rockman series and I enjoyed them as much as I enjoyed the last ones.
The animation is realy great but it sometimes is a bit freaky when you see this poor 3d animation.
The character design is a kind of new for me and I like it every person has a navy that represents him. the story starts not so great but it becomes real cool at the and when netto gets said who rockman really is. and their is a real great gack with capcom is this anime which you must have seen. i just say cabcom.

From what I've seen so far, I really like this anime. I don't know why, I just think it's really good. That's probably because I'm a huge fan of Rockman/Megaman.
Well here's my review on this anime:
Animation: It's got pretty nice animation. Smooth and colorful, but I've seen better.
Sound: Ok, I'll say one thing. I find the opening song very annoying. I don't like the ending song too much, but I guess it's ok.
Story: It's got a very unique and interesting story, and each episode has a good mix of comedy and action. I like how the anime stays pretty true to the Rockman EXE/MegaMan Battle Network games.
Characters: I think the characters I've seen so far are pretty cool, or most of them at least. Netto and his gang are cool (except for that fat kid), and that Meiru or Mail or whatever her name is girl is kinda cute.
Overall this is a very fun series for all ages and I found it very entertaining!
I highly reccomend it!

| When I first saw Rockman EXE listed on the now defunct Anime-Daisuki, I was tickled pink that there was a Rockman/Megaman based anime coming to a fansub near me, but that was until I saw it.
Think Pokemon and you're rather close to that REXE is. Rockman doesn't even seem to be a primary character, his Ash Katchum wanna-be master seems to be the primary character of this potentially nostalgic anime gone wrong.
If you're looking for yet another Pokemon ripoff, I suppose you might want to check out REXE, but otherwise I'd have to advise you to stay as far away as possible, especially if you have any respect for the blue dude. :/

| Rockman, commonly known as Megaman in the west, is one of the characters that can't be forgotten if you were one of those that started playing videogames in the early 80's, and now he's back! ^^ But this time, the story takes place in world where practically everyone owns a so called PET-navi and these little fellows can practically connect into any electric appliances and even battle with other PET-navis. The concept is basically seen in other series as Pocket Monsters and Digimon, but in my opinion, this series is better because there's no "tiny, little and cuddly with puppydog eyes" creatures. That concept is way overused and it's starting to get a little annoying. ^^' I think that this series is pretty good, it's not the one of the best I've seen, but it's ok and enjoyable to watch. Now, if only I could find the ending song.. ^_^

| This serie is really aimmed 4 the kids, but i still found it quite interesting. So far the first 5 eps is ok, not great. But it's still better than that megaman cartoon they had back in the early 90s.

| This is an ok series, although it's the traditional stuff. A youngster and his friends are like the only hope for an entire country... it truly sounds stupid that net terrorists are doing stuff around and little kids go and fight them... duh, where are the police or anti-terrorist units?
