Rizelmine first reminded me of Final Approach except this came first. There are actually 24 episodes that are approximately 15 minutes long. Now I don't know if this is true though but there are two season. But I'll just assume that there are two seasons.

Season one is about Rizel trying to get close to his husband (Iwaki Tomonori) in a comedy way. Season two approaches the viewers with ecchiness and it does get out of hand in some parts. I mean seriously you're gonna show a scene where a 14 year old and 12 year old have sex. That's out of hand.

After reading the reviews for Rizelmine it's either you like it or not. For me I really didn't enjoy it at all. However for those that did enjoy it, I do understand where your point of view comes from. However this comedy didn't make me laugh, not even once. But if those that did enjoy it I probably know where and what you're laughing at. Such as the blue pill and the red pill (from the Matrix). I will say this though, Season one is more enjoyable than Season 2, unless you are looking for ecchiness.

wow, this anime is totally F**ked up.

You will enjoy this show if you like seeing young lolikon anime girls get the crap beaten out of them and really crude sexual jokes.

i thought this show was freaking awesome.

it revolves around a 12 year old cyborg girl who marries a 15 year old boy. They whole purpose of each episode is about the cyborg girl trying to get into a more intimate relationship with the boy. unfortunatly for her the boy is a total A**hole to her in every episode.
it doesn't really go beyond that.

season 2 goes super lolikon with 12 year old camel toe panty shots, plenty of nipple shots, high school girls having sex with middle schoolers and 12yo girls grabbing crotches and attempting to have sex with the main character........

since i'm a total lolikon pervert this is the greatest series i've ever seen.

this show was made for Lolikon fanatics so don't bother watching it if you aren't into lolikon.

oh yeah the jokes were funny, there is no story, the animation was good, the soundtrack is cutsy wootsy, and i wish they made this into a hentai......

Rizel Mine is a pain to watch. But let's get down to the basic ratings first:

There's nothing too special about the animation and sound. Sometimes you get some vibrant mood, other times, the whole scene looks bad. And sound-wise... well, average ambient music, I'd say

Now for the story and character. It's got the same feel as Final Approach. And why do all the guys in this genre have to be such jerks? I really pitied Rizel-chan. Heck, this genre should be comedy, but I felt really bad after watching every episode. It's like, she's trying to put on a happy face, while he's abusing her all the time.

Value and enjoyment? As I said previously, I DID NOT enjoy this series. Some people may find it funny to bite back at other people, or to (literally) throw them, or to force them to live in a closet, but I find it very insulting and depressing.

nutshell? Rizel Mine made me depressed. While there were a few good jokes, it couldn't save the constant abuse and objectification of Rizel. Some people call that humour, I call that self-gratification.

This is deffinately one of the best and most unique anime's i have ever seen. yes there is an extream amount of "loliness" but thats what really makes this anime stand out from the crowd of romantic comedies. Dont be put off by the bad reviews from all the haters below, they probly only watched the first few eps.

The animation was pretty good and the characters were really well drawn. In the second season theres a bit of nudity.

I really liked the opening and ending themes. I had them stuck in my head for a week.

The story has its good and bad points. for starters, the story is almost non-existant and theres lots of holes in it. but really what this anime is about is the comedy and pure shock value of some of the antics that go on. theres also a decent amount of romance near the end. The second season is where all the stops get pulled out and things just go nuts with tons of sexual suggestion and nudity. its really strange how much it changed, but each episode just got more and more interesting and i just HAD to know what was gona happen in the next one.

I started out hateing the main character(tomonori) but he turned out to be a decent guy. he reminded me alot of the jerk from DearS. Rizel is just pure cuteness, i dont think theres anyway someone could hate her. shes optimistic, loyal and surprisingly sexy at times.

Overall, i really enjoyed this anime and its uniqueness. I wouldnt recomend this anime to kids or anyone under 16 though because of the highly suggestive sceens and nudity.

Rizelmine is just unendearingly stupid, and that's at the best of times.

I suppose it's a comedy, since it's certainly not dramatic or a romance, although I fail to see the humor in wifebeating, child abuse, and sexual innuendo between preadolescents. I guess also Rizelmine is supposed to be cute too. I don't know, I had the impression I was supposed to like this anime. I like cutesy animes, I like off the wall humor, and I most certainly like random violence. I have admittedly never watched the entire series, but you cannot seriously think the anime is going to bring anything new to the table. It'd be like expecting deep drama from Hale...Guu. If it so happens that unlike me you can find humor in the violence, or find arousal in the ecchiness, I suppose, yes, this is watchable. As for me, I'll pass.

Even for a comedy anime this is terrible. It's got some of the stupidist humor around, and it doesn't save face with animation either which is subpar. If it weren't so perverse at moments, I would say this was for kids. If you're a fan of Yamaguchi Kappei(Inuyasha) I would say this anime has some miniscule value. However, I'm a believer in give everything a chance. I would say if an anime sounds interesting to you, go try it out. If you still feel like watching this anime, I'm not stopping you.

This is the stock standard of comedy in anime these days and a blight I am increasingly resenting. I ask why we deserve to be fed the same story over and over, except altering the names and faces to protect the guilty. But it seems a lot of people like it forumliac and the same old. Not me.

It has a bit of noveltly. A girl that causes explosions when she cries...that's always nice. ;) A subtle message to guys, perhaps? But meh, it just loses the edge so quickly. It seems to be a standard joke to throw an underage girl at a guy these days. The last time I checked, there's a law against it. Surely's there's SOEMTHING better out there to indulge male fantasies? *sigh*

Wow. After seeing about 10 eps of this, its REALLY cute, and absolutely hilarious.
Rizel is an android, much like Chi from Chobits, only cuter.
Rizel is quite young also, which is why the main guy doesnt like her. Hes just coming off a funk because his much older teacher announced her engagement to someone (hes got a thing for older women)
Unfortunately for him, Rizel shows up at his door claimng to be his wife. This is obviously abnormal so the ugy rejects her. Rizel, however, is easily hurt and she cries. DOES SHE EVER CRY! She is very dangerous when she cries, because her tears are nitroglycerin! If that sounds wrong, it is, and this is incentive to keep her happy or she will inevitably destroy his house!
This show is completely hilarious so far. The cuteness factor is way up there as well and the whole show is a blast to watch. Keep an eye out for rizels 3 "papas" who are agents watching over Rizel and her marriage to the unsuspecting main guy.
Overall nothing outstanding, but its very very cute and very very funny.
I am of the opinion that you just cant get enough of these insane harem type comedies and this is another good one to watch.

A decently fun anime that points at everything wrong with romance animes. I split my review into two sections, one for the 1st season, one for the second.

The 1st season(which everyone surprisingly seems to like) is a COMPLETE ripoff of the oh-so famous anime Urusei Yatsura. The entire season is based on how UY was done. One episode introducing a surprise marriage and then continuing episodes introducing new girls and *surprisingly*
a guy who has a crush on the main girl(or her panties. Your call). It does do a GOOD parody of UY and I found myself laughing at quite a few of the scenes. The 1st season is definitly one you would want to watch(especially if you have seen UY,especially with the houses destruction in almost every episode. If you have, this will be a laugh riot. For others, it will just be completely idiotic, but in a good way ^-^) The animation was also extremely well done as I noticed that it wove in from super-chibi mode to regular mode pretty flawlessly. I like the opening(do I have to say where the inspiration came from?) and the ending is not bad(nor good) but its something that u can just sit there and say "whutever" to.

Now, the 2nd season, while seemingly the less popular among the two, is not as bad as everyone says. Yeah, the ecchi does get a bit out of hand, but it really isn't that bad if u compare it to other romance/comedies like Green green or Princess Warukyure. What the second season tries to do, though, is to try to make parodies of every other mainstream romance anime. I doubt any episode except maybe one is original (the one is of course the episode where we learn why Iwaki likes older women.) It doesn't do that great of a job, though, as the humor detracts from the 1st season, this is probably because in the 2nd season they try to make fun of all of the animes, while in the 1st season they only aim for UY. The animation is just as good as the 1st. The OP is the same, but the ED is considerably worse in my opinion.

Overall, if you need a good laugh, watch the 1st season. If you want to see more parodies than just one on UY, watch the 2nd season. Im sure you will be pleased with ONE of them, if not both.

Rizelmine looked like a kiddy anime but was completely the opposite. It was more adult oriented.

You just have to compare this series to two others. One similarities between this and Chobits are quite striking. A young boy in a love situation that he did not ask for. And this girl who is crazy about him and ready to do anything for him. Secondly, I found lots of similarities with Trouble Chocolate in the humor factor.

So if you want to laugh and be amused, this is nice and probably made for you.

One downpart, each episodes lasts only 15 minutes.

It starts as a typical, the main girl likes the main male, he doesn't like her back anime, but after a few character introduction episodes unlike most animes of this type the characters actually seemed to grow from episode to episode. The comedy was absolutely hilarious(atleast I found it to be) although it did get unnecesesarily adult in theme in the second season. They did a pretty good job of filling up loose ends and bringing order to the chaos that is this series main theme. Word of warning though, unless your a pedophile or open minded the series could be offensive at times (again particularly toward the latter parts of the second season). All though the main female character's personality may grow, her body doesn't and she has the body of a 12 year old, yet that doesn't stop the show artists from throwing in alot of fan service (perhaps pedo-service would be a better term). On a final and related note, if your one of those weirdos who were obsessed with MOMO's panties in Xenosaga this series is practically a must see. If your not but your open minded it still might be a fun little time waster, it was for me.

Rizelmine is one of those shows that kinda looks like kiddy stuff until you actually watch some of it, then, yeah, not kiddy stuff. At first it was slightly amusing, and as the episodes moved along, it got funnier, especially 2nd season (or 2nd half) when the fan-service kicked it. So wacky (or so stupid) that I had to laugh, and laugh I did. Recommended.

Rizelmine is about a 12 year old girl who shows up in front of a random 14 year old guy's house with marriage documents showing that they are betrothed...

Ah, this storyline isn't worth my time and effort to explain. Just read the series description.

Three words: Happy World! 2.

I swear, either the makers of this anime series seriously think that people who watch this series have either no thinking capability, or the people who actually watch this series are be vegatative or brain-dead zombies. Well, OK. I did see this whole series through. BUT I absolutely regretted wasting four hours of my life watching this. Any longer, I would have shot myself in the testicles just as to make watching this pointless series less painful.

So, where does this series lack? Well, just about everything. Seriously, the way this anime starts out (with a prepubescent 12 year old already married to a 14 year old boy), I can now see where some of the strange traditions in Asian may have come from in terms of marriage and growing up. (Just to let you know, I'm Asian myself).

This series has absolutely no redeeming value, unless you use it to entertain single-digit kids. But even then, they probably wouldn't even want to sit through this super-childishly contrived piece of crap.

Another anime series that brings out mixed emotions. I really enjoyed Rizelmine I, but Rizelmine II seemed to get out of my reach - it featured direct nudity and my goodness, like the first season didn't have enough fanservice and ecchi scenes. If this review was based only upon the first half of Rizelmine - it would be a much higher rating.
I like the music and animation, I didn't find the characters annoying at all - instead, I found them quite cute and hilariously funny. There were many repititions and the fact of a twelve-year-old thinking of "otono C" (inside "joke" in Rizelmine) boggles the mind.
I guess there are people would either love or hate this anime series. In my case it's love for the first season and not-so-much-love for the second. But I will never regret watching this, it made me laugh so hard, it doesn't contain those cliched jokes like most anime series, it's more like indirect sexual, ironic, or satirical comedy.

I didn't particularly like the idea behind this series. I mean, some 12-year old girlie - whose tears explode by the way - wants to get married with some kid and thus sticks to him and acts all annoying. The story is quite nicely wrapped in the final episodes, but it doesn't save this series at all.

Yup, Rizelmine is full comedy/ecchi show. Though they start showing boobies only at episode 16 and forward. The humor Rizelmine delivers can get boring and repetitive very fast. At least if you watch many episodes in a row. There are some episodes which bear an adequate plot, but mostly it is just boring (if you're not in a mood for laughing at plain jokes. Read, drunk). The 10-minute long episodes make it a bit more enjoying when compared to some 24-minute long.

The outlook and sounds are well done. Chibi people and chibi voice acting. The beginning of the opening theme song is somewhat catchy.. But I could listen it throughout only once or twice.

The characters were okay in overall. As you probably can spot among the ratings, I thought the characters were somewhat better than the story. Same characters in some different settings and without ecchi might have made something much more exceptional.

For all those ecchi/comedy lovers! I know there's many of you out there and it's not like I have anything in particular against the genre (there's even some decend series released), it's just that there seems to be something horribly wrong with this (these?) series. Especially with those kids.. Every one of them..

This anime gives some laughs. The three papas really do it for the series. Rizelmine is a cool girl too. The character i really don't like is the main character guy. Just my opinion but he's not a good guy (I noticed that he looks almost identical to the guy in Happy World). Besides that guy, it's a pretty good anime. Not great, but good enough. The content of ecchi is not too bad...i didn't really notice it. So watch it.

Personally I think animeacademy's review was too cruel, but I can see their points. This anime, while quite funny and enjoyable in many cute ways, also presents some disturbing fan service to the viewer, only a lot of the time, it comes in the form of little Rizel half naked. Mind you, its not her doing anything sexual or anything like that, but many people (myself included) don't want to see a 12 year old girl half naked.

However, if you can look past all that, then the anime can be very enjoyable. Little Rizel is a very cute character who will make you smile quite a bit, and fortunately, she is extremely innocent, so it's not like she's trying to seduce Iwaki (who is only 15 himself so it's not like it's a huge lolita complex).

The thing that makes this anime the most enjoyable are the three papas. Their antics trying to help Rizel really boost the quality of the anime. Really the only gripe I have with the show is the fan service (which increases after episode 12) but if you can look past that, you'll get an enjoyable anime that will leave you with a good feeling at the end.

The plot may sound like another cliche, lolicon, cutesy, fansevice romance but Rizelmine manages to rise above the crappiness that is the anime romantic comedy genre. I was really surprised to discover that this series was actually GOOD.

The humour is insane. Rizelmine pokes fun at everything from lolicon fetishes (12-year-old panty fanatics!), the "school field trip", hentai, Nightrider, Formula-1, giant robots, Super sentai, etc. This is a comedy first, but the series does hint at the emotional implications as well as the obvious absurdity of arranged marriages. (Dude she's 12!)

The character designs are cute and the characters themselves are hilarious. In particular: Papa A, Papa B, Papa C, the three Mamas, Tomonori-kun's parents, and some of the cameo appearances from rivals in the last episodes. (And the lost puppy! Can't forget the puppy!) I'm a sucker for comedies that develop the supporting cast and not just the love interests. (Many series in this genre don't even do that.)

The theme songs are the most annoying yet lovable catchy songs ever. You must have amazing skill if you can keep it from getting stuck in your head. (Dash! Dash! Dash! Danna-sama!)

Overall, a great romantic comedy that isn't afraid to mock its own genre and be un-PC. Hilarious, cute, and deserves to be seen! Not your average romantic comedy.

Almost defines "kawaiiiiiiiii!!!!!".
The concept at the heart of the story is a little hard to deal with at first. A "12 year old girl" (in reality an artificial lifeform) married to a 15 year old boy who has a MAJOR crush on his teacher. She wants to have sex with him but he hasn't given up on sensei, despite the fact that she's about to get married. When Rizel cries her tears are explosive, leading to extensive repairs to the family home. Very funny. The script is near perfect, the actors obviously had heaps of fun doing their parts. I can't wait to watch series 2.

Now having seen "series 2" I can say update my ratings with confidence. For a show that initially appears to be very light, it sure packs a dramatic punch late on, and for something that appears to be fairly childish in its initial eps, there's sure plenty of adult stuff later! Way big nods to hentai lovers everywhere! I watched this with my son, again, and he got as much out of it (at age 8) as I did (at age 38).

The last 2 eps rate very highly as romantic drama, almost up to Love Hina or Onegai Teacher. Don't let the cutesy art fool you, this is top quality.

Once again, big taboo to get past. "12" year old girl in sexual situations with 14-15 year old boy. Some nudity to really make you confront your opinion. Squirm factor = very high!

Had you asked me a few months ago about this show I would have been raving about it on and on, but those months have passed and so has my enthusiasm.

I don't usually like these little cutesy shows (I refuse to include kawaii in a review), but this is an exception.

Surprisingly adult in the humor, the story is good enough, it's the characters that are just kind of stupid. Not the main characters, but the people that orbit around them just aren't that funny.

Anyways, if you like this kind of show (cutesy, not kawaii), by all means watch it. If you aren't a fan, it's up to you. I don't regret watching it.
