| Well, If you never saw the original Zoids series, this is great to watch, entertaining mech battles, cel-shaded goodness, plot sutable for a series that centers around an arena, however, if you did see the original Zoids, this is about as good as stabing yourself in the eye with a stick.... No where NEAR the Classic Zoids, but I'm grading it as an indivdual, because that's fair. Besides, given the length of the classic zoids, this one is alot cheaper to own... but other then that, go for the original. If you need any additional convincing, think of this... just look at Fiona, then at Lena/Rena, and back again.....

| Not TOO bad. It's watchable, and entertaining, but it doesn't hold a candle to it's predecessor. The story (what little story there is) has no heart and the same thing can be said about the characters. The plot doesn't really strive for greatness and the show suffers because of that.

| The animation is very nice and the music is pretty nice too. However, the story isnt too deep so this anime is primarily for those who just want some fun. There are some comedy in it and it pretty enjoyable all together. Note however that this isnt an anime for those story-dept freaks.

| A very fun anime to watch. With a mix of comedy, action, and romance...well, sort of.

| The dubbed version is pretty good, although there doesn't seem to be as much dark content as the first series. It's a lot more like those corny shows where the hero finishes off the enemy with his/her signature move (except, in this series, it doesn't always happen like that) and considering they ONLY lose 3 battles in the entire series, it gets kind of predictable
The costumes are just plain weird
