| Okay, so it wasn't the greatest thign since sliced bread. But for some reason it was addictive.
Chalk that down to the 'Fantastic Four' - Van, Fiona, Irvine and Moonbay. You couldn't get four more different people if you tried. Rebel with a cause, dreamer alien girl, the ultimate in realism and chick with attitude. Van's a bit annoying at times but you gotta admire the way he never let anything beat him down. Irvine's rapp-scallion ways were alway entertaining and Fiona was almost a leaf out of Osaka's (Azumanga Daioh) book! Coffee with SALT! WTF!? Unfortuantely every other character around them was worth less than a grain of salt for all they did and contributed to the saga.
What really drew me into Chaotic Century was Raven. Now he was one bad-arse kid. Devoid of morality and the emotional capacity to care about anyone else himself or Shadow, he added a lot of bit to this series. He was what a true villain should be. Even if he wisened up a bit near the end, he was still the clinical and cold-hearted Raven. He was the complete anti to Van and probably a better character for it.
I think 67 episodes was too long. It should've been closer to 50. There were too many recap, deja vu or meeting the same enemy again episodes. And the story was far too long winded. The Deathstinger Arc took far too long to resolve, plus the plot really does lack surprise and suspense.
Still, if for nothing else, this series was worth watching just to know Fiona's gigantic, gravity-defying breasts made it onto Australian TV in the second season on kids TV slots without a complaint from parental groups. Frankly I think free-to-air TV could do with some mroe doses of that.

| if you like mechas, then its better to watch gundam instead. Why? because they both have the same used-up story(war, war, and more wars), but gundams are better at fighting scenes(and characters). The only thing good about this is the CG animation, period.

| An Absolute must see for mech fans. It has unique animal-like mechs, great battle scenes, features the idea of fully robotic organisms, has Fiona, and it has a great engrossing story, even the filler episodes are fun to watch. The only reason it didn't get a perfect 10 is because it doesn't have a memorable soundtrack. ALSO, IGNORE ANY REVIEW THAT MENTIONS CG OR ULTIMATE X, THIS IS NOT, and I repeat, NOT ZOIDS ZERO (or new century for that matter) IF YOU WATCHED IT AND THERE WAS NO HYPER CUTE BLONDE GIRL AND A BROWN SPIKY HAIRED GUY NAMED VAN, THEN IT WAS ZERO, NOT THIS ONE (which aired as chaotic century)

| It was okay. I don't remember too much about it, since I saw it a while ago. I just remember having a mediocre attitude toward it. I was never too big a fan because of the CG.

| Very entertaining show. Characters have lots of personality and the story is quite fun. There are a lot of feel good moments and also a lot of sweet battles to keep the interest levels high. The pacing is excellent. The show uses a lot of CG animation and thankfully it's pretty damn good. Check it out.

| This is a product. The true meaning behind this silly anime is an excuse to sell toys.
Watch it, then buy the toy.
Kids under 10 probably will enjoy this.
If you are an experienced Otaku stay away from this.
