| labyrinth of flames starts very bad but then gets better and better. i already thought about not watching the second episode but due to the lack of a better anime i forced myself to watch it. and iwas surprised that the sick humour from the beginning changed into some hilarious moments. some characters were very funny like natsus father but other really annoyed me. overall LoF is a total nonsense anime with many funny scenes that make it enjoyable.
ENJOYMENT
i seem to enjoy watching anime too much. so i give it 8 points in this category. 1 hour passed fast though i was never hooked by it. but i recomment this to anyone who is bored of watching serious anime all the time.

| Labyrinth of Flames is the tale of Galan, a sword crazy wannabe samurai. He has fallen for Lady Natsu, who is bethrothed to another man. Complicating it are international thieves Natassia Nijinski and Erola Nadekoff, who are after a treasure. Carrie White is an American reporter harboring a secret. Supposedly based on a Russian manga (this may not be correct.) There are a lot of Russian references in it.

| Labrynth of Flames is not that great of an OVA. Of course it suffers from a lack of development due its short length, but that wasn't the only problem. This OVA also suffers from an utter lack of a story, even if this was developed more I don't think it would supply much. All it is, is eye candy with decent music. If you want to know more about this below average OVA read on.

Labyrinth of Flames: Anime that tries to cover the lack of a plot with average animation, silly characters, silly humor and well, some very...scarcely covered women.
In other words... silly, plotless, nice music though, successful in being humorous, at times, and well some fan service (ok so 'some' is an understatement)...

| There is one personal point I have to make about this anime. I watched this almost directly after seeing the most horrifying piece of anime ever, Apocalypse Zero, and I'm eternally grateful to Labyrinth of Flames for returning my sanity.
That out of the way, let's see what this show is all about. First what comes to mind is fanservice. Then ladies with very little on. Oh, that's fanservice too. Then panty shots. But that's fanservice too. Big breasts. Fanservice. I could go on forever but simply said everything this show does is related to fanservice. If you are a girl, you will get undressed or do some other male pleasing stuff. If you are a male, you will stumble upon naked girls. If I remember correctly the was some kind of plot involving wannabe samurai, noble girl, love, foreign countries and a hidden treasure but I doubt anyone has any interest towards them. All I was interested in was what kind of fanservice device would occupy the screen next.
This show reminds me of Raimuiro Senkitan that had even less substance but also had gloriously cute girls that really stopped me from caring of any upper brain functions. Same goes here. The animation is smooth and girls look very nice. As this is a semi-samurai series, there's some fighting included and that's done very well too. You can clearly see some money has been thrown into this. Music was pleasant and there was some funny accented performances from the voice actors.
I will not bother going into characters too much. It's enough to say that they didn't annoy me and did their job. They are not deep or developing and that would definitely taken the best edge out of the series' fanservice nature. This is just plain old fun for the male audience.

| A serious 1-hour humor shot for those in need of relievement and laughter.
Labyrinth of Flames uses common effects to create a humoristic atmosphere, but its theme is the thing which really makes the difference. This was my first encounter with a show mainly pouring its humor from (wannabe-)samurai-thingies, and I liked what I saw. The BGM is great. Shamisen and that Russian crap. Tch.
The story is all right for an OVA, lots of humorous scenes plus few twists to keep viewers interested (even if it's a humor show). Even the characters aren't that bad; there's a bunch of them and they work well. The show could have been a bit longer, I was hoping to see the Golden Kasumi for another time at least.
Lots of irrelevant lite ecchi, too. I'm glad they kept it mostly in pantsu-level. And yet, weirdly enough, this left me pondering, in my sweet ignorance, what kind of underwear did the _real_ female samurais/ninjas wear? I guess they wore something.
It's a good watch.

| I immensely enjoy it! The comedy rocks and the women are absolutely gorgeous! Warning for prudes and feminists: there are a lot of panty-shots and a little nudity.

| First off, let me say that I for one didn't like Aika very much. It's just my personal opinion, but I think this is quite a bit better.
I think that anime comedies can be hilarious, mostly because they often do and say things that are very fresh and different to the types of things we are used to (and bored of). I consider this one to be up there with Photon. I completely agree that there's a lot of laughs and entertainment packed into this hour of anime, and I think it's even better to watch in a group. As for the story, I don't think too much wacky stuff happened that you couldn't follow it all (trust me, anime's like "Idol Project" are way more pointlessly crazy). It's not revolutionary, but it's definitely entertaining.
This is one that you'll probably keep around. It'll definitely bring a smile to your face when you're down.

| i had high hopes for this because i knew it was from the same staff who brought us aika (which i love). sadly it has similar animation to aika, but that's where the similarities end...
there is no story, at least not that i can remember. it's about this guy who is a samurai wannabe who lives in present time japan. most of this 2 part OVA takes place on an island that is like japan back in the 1800's. there's a princess, there's a cowgirl?! action happens, and stuff...
it's weird...but in a not fun way. so much happens in only 2 OVA's that you are left scratching your head wondering what the hell just happened.
the animation is very well done. the music is ok, but not memorable. the ending animation is a bonus that aika fans will appreciate.
i can't really recommend this, but since you get both OVA's on one dvd it's a good value. if you find it on sale, pick it up. you might get some enjoyment out of it.

| This is a funny one. You rarely see so much hummor, action and ecchi packed in a 2 eps OAV. If not for the comedy, if not for the action, this anime worth watching only for the hot babes ... trust me on this one :)

| Labyrinth of Flames ist einer der abgedrehtesten Anime die ich bisher gesehen habe und geizt nicht mit haufenweise Slapstick und Panty-Shots am laufenden Meter. Es mag einem möglicherweise etwas übertrieben vorkommen doch der Humor ist einfach göttlich und sorgt für ellenlange Lachsalven von denen man sich kaum erholen kann. Story existiert genausowenig wie Charaktertiefe oder ähnliches in der Richtung, aber die braucht es hier auch nicht. Unterhaltsam ist diese OVA trotzdem und jedem zu empfehlen der mal wieder herzhaft lachen will!

| Coming from Bandai (Power Rangers), I really didn't expect much when I first started watching this extremely short 2-part OAV series. Five minutes later I nearly busted an artery from laughing so hard.
Folks, this one's a keeper. Complete with ecchi, hot girls, martial arts/swordfighting and comedy, it's too irresistible to pass up.
Fans of Golden Boy, get this now!
