This is a poor tacked on film that adds nothing that wasn't covered better in the original anime. The only purpose it has is to compromise the character and relationship development in the original anime.

Overall a high-quality romance title, not focusing that much on baseball as in the series and the rest of the movies but mainly in the characters and how they progressed 5 years after the Koushien.

Animation is of high quality (unfortunately baseball action is lacking)
and the characters are even better than the series. This time Nishimura is a much better character and he is by far the best along with the Tatsuyas girlfriend.

Problem is: remove the Touch characters and you have a typical romance story and a recycled theme that can turn very boring if you're not in the right mood.

The movie was made mainly with Touch and romance fans in mind and really didnt offer anything new.

It is well directed though and I wouldnt mind rewatching it again

It is just that romance is not my type of thing (I am a cynical bastard afterall) :P

Well being a Touch fan you're going to like the subsequent iterations of this series, especially as the key characters are there.

Again, Tatsuya is just too aloof as a character and it's painful to see how he isn't able to react properly when he saw Minami become distressed over him but not knowing what it is. The obvious thing to do is to clear up the issue and figure out what's going on, but he plays RIGHT into the situation and because of that, it's allowed to fester all the way to the end. I guess that's just a convenient character flaw written to give more conflict into this story.

It was nice to see the old characters back as a big plus. If you haven't watched the series yet, this movie will probably not come across well. But if you have, you know you just have to watch this. This movie does further the story along, but unfortunately it doesn't do the same for the characters.

*spoiler*
Towards the end when Minami and Nitta were at the festival, I wanted him to kiss Minami as you see the moment about to happen. Moreso to spite Tatsuya because of his aloofness. However, once I saw Minami close her eyes and allow Nitta to kiss her, I felt my heart drop and think, oh no, this is gonna break everything that's been built in all of those 101 episodes. Plus I think somehow I was personally identifying w/ this situation that probably added to my dismay.
*end spoiler*

Wow, a great movie about Touch. The first and foremost thing that I love and appreciate about this movie is that they aren't afraid to let their characters grow up. People change, people encounter hardships and while the childhood events are great to reminesce on, the future has to come. That is what this Touch movie is about.

However, there is one thing that never really changes; I've always felt that Tatsuya is too passive in the series. He never really expresses what he thinks in words and he always seems to let Minami do all the initiation. This movie is essentially the same thing throghout and that kind of annoys me hence the 7... the ending was realistic but I guess it could have been fluffed up some more. Tatsuya could have been more expressive and I thought that would have made the effect even stronger. I didn't really feel his determination towards the end as much as Minami's determination.

That aside, this movie has a great story line. I loved how all the characters also made their way into this story. The new character also made a positive effect on this story line. All in all, everything led to an enjoyable and tense shoot to the conclusion. Great execution overall.

Animation and sound are really great. They did a good job with modernizing this classic 1985 anime. Even more impressive is the music. I thought they did a great job with the whole Miss Lonely Yesterday soundtrack with the panning between Minami and Tatsuya. Very impressive again.

Even if you haven't seen this Touch series, this is a great great movie. Although itd' be harder to sympathize with characters like nitta and nishimura... im sure you'll appreciate the difficulties tatsuya and minami go through

This movie is a real sequal to the original Touch TV series, it takes place a couple years after the HS Koushin. Tatsuya and Minami has already in diff colleage and other char moves in their own ways. Somehow Tatsuya quit the basball after Koushin tournament in HS. This story are told after all that happened. (I wrote this since ANFO doesn't have a description)

The pwntage cont. Every character come back and reunion. Tatsuya still the main guy who still doesn't find the right path in his life, althou he already confess his love to Minami once(at the end of TV series) turns out their relationship still going as the same as they were in HS. Now the new girl immerge in colleage and making all kind of lies. The story about the new girl is pretty interesting, Adachi(is this movie been original done by him? I don't have a clue) have pull another trick out of his hat and save the day. Why? cuz some char(don't want to spoil) in this Touch movie kinda went over the line for Touch itself. There's one emotion outbreak scene that shouldn't happen ever in Touch. But maybe becuase they older or maybe the hormone inside them starting to shoot up the roof.

Beside the chars, the story seem to reused the same plot as before but this time they try to confirm it again with more confident for what they going to do next or what going to happen in the future. Don't forgot to watch the end of the credit scene, Red Sox rulz.. You know what's that suppose to mean? Watch it!! Oh yea don't forgot to watch other movie also.

this movie, is just a continuation of the touch series, basically telling everyone what's going on in ta-chan's life and minami's life, as well as some other main character in the touch serie.

It is set at the university time of minami and ta-chan (i think the graduating year). it deals with basically the everyday life of the two characters, and what they are up to now. This movie isn't focus on baseball, it's jsut telling you where the two characters r going. It dealt with the love between ta-chan and minami, more than it dealt with the baseball, in this movie.

The plot in this movie wasn't strong at all. I think it was just to show the viewers, how minami and ta-chan r doing. However, I really really love the last part of the movie, the ending was good =)...watch it to see the ending..lol

(P.S. i think they made a 5th movie, actaully i saw the 5th movie, which is a continuation from where this movie left off. so this movie is sorta like a build up for the next one. and the next one will have more baseball action ;)...but animnfo doens't have the 5th movie listed :S)
