| This is a funny little special from the anime series Comic Party. It's not really meant to be taken seriously as you can tell because of the length.
Animation - The animation was the same as the Comic Party so no need to worry. I think the animation is very good it could compete with 2005 anime and it was made in 2001.
Sound - Same voices from the story so don't worry about it. voice acting was very funny in a good way. Fit the characters voices well. Opening and ending were fine.
Story - The story was good considering the length. They all took a trip to a hot spring. They were sucked into some place learned about manga. Not the best story but good enough.
Charactes - Don't worry about the characters they are not important in this special. its not about them.
Value - It should be easy to rewatch because of the length and humor in it. You really don't have to be a Comic Party fan to enjoy this special.
Enjoyment - I thought it was funny and worth the watch.I reccomend this little special to anyone who likes comedy or whondoesn't want to get into along anime series. It's only about 25 mins in all.

| Being that it is only 4 episodes long, there isn't much that can go wrong. For example, you wouldn't pick this anime up if you havent seen Comic Party the original, or would you?
If you liked Comic Party, then this is the next group of CP stuff you should watch. An extra story about some weird wacko trip that they take. The animation in this one kind of sucks though. Not much in terms of background, just the usual stereotypical drawings of the character brought back from the original comic party.
You don't have to like comic party to like this, but the humor isn't that great. Just a bunch of wacky acts that reminds me of a mix between the crazy hyper scenes of Love Hina with that of hmm... Excel Saga. A side OVA that doesn't do much except make more money.
Persoonally, though, I think this is complete crap. The original comic party didn't create any love for the characters and certainly it doesn't deserve a 4-part mini series about some random trip to the hotsprings. Oh yeah, it reminds me of scooby doo. (the way the characters randomly appear out of nowhere)

| Ah, the obligitory onsen episode. Honestly the only thing amusing about this short 4-parter is the recaps at the beginning of the 2nd, 3rd and 4th parts. I got a chuckle out of all three of those. Aside from that, this is just a bunch of dumb, pointless filler that was probably supposed to be fan service but didn't really work out that way. Only the most die-hard Comic Party fans should feel as though they have to see this.

| While the tv series actually was interesting by teaching you about doujinshi, cosplay and such, the oav are only a tiny story where the only relation is the characters. In this oav, the story itself is rather silly, they're still some jokes but it just doesn't work anymore. It might take a smile off you but that's it. Well if you really liked Comipa then go for it, if not, then don't.

It has nearly nothing that was like comic party...
The characters stayed the same, the animations and sound too. But the story is completely crap. I won't spoil anything but that, what is told here is total nonsense and not even funny!!!
So the value is very low because it can't be realy interesting, not even for doujinshi writers...

| More fun and frolics with the CP gang. I wish it lasted longer- it's jsut what you'd expect, in reality we're all hoping for a second season, but this special really doesn't fulfill the series. Twisted, but flows nicely, a worthy addition, but lacks 'punch'
