| ATTENTION: All the review on this page aren’t serious reviews apart form that of De Baer’s, they just copy and pasted their reviews from Urotsukidoji 1 to the second, third and forth movie.
This was a tremendous disappointment, so great that this made me hate the whole series. And I’ll tell you why…
So, you want to see what happens when the Mad Regent meets The Chojin at Osaka huh? So did I. The “final meeting” lasted about 30 seconds, the ending was so rubbish, that I couldn’t think of a worse way to end this series.
They seriously ran out of budget in my opinion, they should have sincerely cut out some sex scenes which were totally useless, and made an ending, because as far as I’m concerned there wasn’t one, it’s MUCH worse than “oh, it was all just a dream” type ending.
This series started out with so much promise, the vision of the destruction envisioned in the first movie of an apocalyptic world made me really excited to continue watching this series, I was never really a fan of the sex scenes in Urotsukidoji. But All that came to nothing.
The animation isn't as good as the first movie considering this was made in 1994. Nor was the music, the only decent character in this was Amano.
It’s like the disappointment when you completed the first Doom game, the disappointment you felt of the Matrix trilogy, this was much worse. Now I know why they released mainly the first 2 movies and the third and forth movies weren’t as famous as the previous 2.
Whatever you do, PLEASE don’t watch this, the memories of the first movies shouldn’t be eroded this way by watching crap like this. I was so devastated after watching this, the makers should genuinely consider remaking this movie, but instead I think they made Urotsukidoji New Saga, which I’m yet to see.
