| I picked up this anime because it received a lot of mixed reviews from my friends. Some said it was about a mad scientist who does nothing but stalk his victim for 12 episodes; others called it a zany love story that leaves you feeling good inside. After watching this show, I can understand why there are so many mixed reviews. On the one hand, Reijiro Techno can be seen as a stalking, kidnapping, manipulating, obsessive compulsive uber-nerd. He objectifies everything around him and behaves like a kid in a candy store half the time. On the other hand, if you don’t take the premise too seriously, this is a sweet love story. Certainly, there’s nothing intellectually stimulating about the story, the jokes are not laugh out loud funny and you won’t walk away with a new outlook on life, but if you are able to shut off your brain for a few hours, this story will leave you feeling warm and fuzzy.

| Based upon the description of this anime, I was expecting a zany romantic comedy about a mad-scientist and the woman who would steal his inventions. Instead, it is the story of a psychopath who seeks to enslave the first woman he's even seen.
There is no romance just a victim becoming reliant upon her abuser. Very little is funny but many things are obvious attempts at humor.
I watched the entire series in hopes of finding something to redeem it but in the end I only found it extremely disturbing.

| Don't Leave Me Alone Daisy took me by surprise. I really wasn't sure what to expect when I picked it up, but what I got was so offbeat and strange that I couldn't help but be surprised. This is a very bizarre love story, and I can see how it's strangeness can turn some people off. Techno (the main character) has some serious issues, primarily that he has no outside experience dealing with people in a real world setting and thus his romantic advances can be fairly strange, and at times pretty disturbing. I found myself enjoying the show a great deal though. The comedy was so outlandish that I was constantly being surprised, and the romantic angle is well handled, though bizarre. A one of a kind title that's worth checking out.
