| Believe it or not, but I've watched this anime twice and both times I HAD to watch the English language dub because I just couldn't stomach the awful Japanese voices!
I actually really enjoyed this show. It's daft, funny, zany and definitely sweet ^__^
It has a Saber Marionette J, Steel Angel Kurumi feel to it and it's definitely a weird kind of harem anime, as Cacao's girls just pile up and up!
Worth a watch even if it's just for the humour, but the romantic elements are sweet enough for the average harem/romance fan to be entertained.

| I purchased the dvds a ways back but never got around to watching them. Finally caught up to it recently and did a marathon run of the entire series while i had the flu. Basic opinion, decent series, but a bit quirky. The comedy lines were probably hard to translate at times for the dubbed version, but the re-writes were decent. The animation was unique due to the exagerated colors throughout the series, but after a while they hurt your eyes. The filler episodes in the middle made me take points off on my opinion though. This could have been a decent 12 eps series, instead of the 20 it turned out to be.

| If you are pondering whether or not to watch this, you can pretty much base your decision on the first couple of episodes as little changes throughout the series as it progresses. In fact, many jokes are repeated over and over again to the point that they become annoying. The overall story is the biggest weakness as it is essentially 18 episodes of filler followed by 2 episodes of typical anime action/drama ending. However if you watch the first couple episodes and find the comedy to be actually funny, you might enjoy this series. I wouldn't recommend it though. From a technical standpoint, the animation is pretty good. I really didn't care for the character art and the characters themselves were fairly standard. While the main character was fun, I thought Hinano (the female lead) was rediculous. Nothing especially memorable in the music either expect perhaps the songs that repeated far too often, and those songs I'd rather forget. Anyway, I'd recommend several other anime before this (Chobits, Ah! Megami Sama).

| "You're Welcome" Makes the world go 'around - Donboy
Err.. there not much to say here. The story get no where, and they didn't explain anything either. Even though it suppose to be funny, I didn't get many jokes in series, or it might be a 'sick' jokes that just keep repeating forever. There some dancing tune in the series once in a while, it sound likes DDR soundtrack. Watch this if you REAALLY BORED, don't expect much than for a few laughes and cute wood puppet

| Weird humor. Just up my alley. I mean, it has an assortment of weird characters, and all of them are funny in their own way. The humor is quite off the wall. Ex: a monster is defeated by "the power of love". That and other scenes made me laugh to much by the stupidity of the situation. Serious, it's weird enough to be funny, give it a chance.

| This is not a good first anime to watch. It requires one to have viewed other anime because this is the type of anime that new viewers will look at and just say WTF?! and swear off naime forever. ITs definitely a parody, and while some gags misss hte mark, some of them will put you on the floor with laughter, and the characters are kawaii.
Overall, if you want a few hours of silliness, no unlike Abenobashi, FLCL, or Excel saga, then give this one a try. On its quality merits, this one is a bomb, but seen for what it is, a slapstick comedy with pretty much likeable characters (some ultra cute) and no plot, just laughs, then you really cant go wrong here.

| It's weird... the art is special, the story is weird, the use of dance music is weird, the number of episodes is weird (20, maybe due to lack of success) but I enjoyed it :p
This series is very funny(the scenes with Debora and Murakata are repetitive but they always make me laugh), Hinano is lovable and the appetite of Cacao is... O.o
And I come back to the subject of the number of episodes... I have the feeling that these series would have been longer but it looked like they ended it hasty (as I said above, maybe a lack of success). Why? Because, the quest of the cards didn't seem to be over, the power of Cacao is totally inexploited, we didn't learn anything about Hinano, there was no evolution in the relation Cacao-Hinano...
But maybe they are just other elements which made the show weird.
So there is an unfinished impression... but this anime is worth the watch since you enjoy the episodes one after one and you often forget this weirdness which finally makes the charm of TC. This series is an UFO that appears in the sky and disappears right after.
Little regret: the change of the ending song (I love "Nee nande") and I would have preferred the slow version of "Anata ni aitakute" instead of the remix

| This series ended up being a lot better than I had expected it to be. It's not very complicated, or very deep, and don't expect a real moving plot. This is just one of those shows that's a lot of fun, not much plot, and very little thinking required. It's basically a parody, and I thought it was *very* funny with cute and enjoyable characters. This is the show to watch when you just want to relax, enjoy yourself and not have to get very involved (emotionally) in what your watching.

| I loved this series. The music's great, lots of cute scenes, and with Sakura Tange u can't go wrong. Lots of parodies, was very enjoyable.

| Story of Cacao an ever hungry Wizard apprentice and Hinano a wooden doll posessed by a fairy, in a strange modern/aline world. Yes this anime does not take itself seriously ...
A silly, funny parody with average animation, nice sound and hilarious storylines.
