| It's hard to put exactly into words how I feel about Hakaima Sadamitsu, simply because I had my brain turned off through the entire series. Perhaps that speaks more than enough for itself. This is the quintessential popcorn anime, perfect for immediate consumption and enjoyment with a minimum of forethought. What it clearly lacks in smarts, it more than makes up for with riveting action and a refreshingly straightforward, no-nonsense narrative style.
Unlike a lot of animes of similar length, Hakaima Sadamitsu KNOWS it doesn't have very long, so it gets straight to the point and sticks with it. Every episode moves along the main plot with absolutely no variation or pesky subplots. This makes the entire anime feel very linear, but this approach suits it the best. A series of this caliber shouldn't be bogged down by elaborate backstories or complex relationships, anyway. There's one forgotten love of times long past, one silly crush, and then the meat of the series. Fortunately, the series ended just as I was beginning to get bored of this style, drawing itself out to an ending at the perfect time.
The action itself is surprisingly fun and well-animated, with a heavy helping of flashy special effects, even though the rest of the anime's visual aspect is unimpressive. The character models look nearly disgusting; they appear to have been transplanted from a 1980s anime and then colored and rendered with 21st century animation techniques. Of course, they aren't just content with looking bad...they also have to be generic as well. You'll have seen just about every character and monster in a typical sci-fi/action title before. When one considers the mindless, almost parodical nature of the series, however, the generic designs almost seem to fit. The only important part is that they look good while kicking ass, which fortunately is the case. Same goes for their personalities: totally forgettable, but serviceable. Sadamitsu's constant hotbloodedness and general stupidity become rather grating, but other than that the cast is just kind of there.
The plot, however, is surprisingly good for this sort of anime. It's nothing really special, but provides all it needs to and more for its purpose. I was expecting something along the lines of "HEY LOOK ALIENS HERE'S A SWORD GO TO IT MAN" but instead we get a little more insight and thought to dwell on. Ha, who am I kidding, you're not supposed to dwell on Hakaima Sadamitsu. All you have to do is enjoy it for what it is: a brief, unambitious, but nonetheless fun romp through an action anime that is just generic enough to be something special.

| a very nice anime, suitable for any age.
Animations:
nothing really to comment around here. except well done!
Sound:
its mexican opening / ending song and thereby the music used on tense moments was good! it somehow gave it a very suitble taste. the rest was quite Average. i really hated the Main charcs voice as he was always shouting
Story:
a nice Mecha twist in it. with an overall much used story with giving it a good edge and a twisting it just a bit that it looks good. very nice done.
there was also a good use of story / fun parts and actions.
Character:
nicely done the vulture was sexy with her ecchi looking shorts :) yeah she was hot. also the rest of the charcs where cool. the main charc was oke but he shouted way to much at the poor vulture wich really enjoyed me!!!
value:
it does not have a level of gore in it so its suitble for small kids to fully grown up. if mecha is your think yes this will surly work on you!. you like good animated with a fun story this is your thing. yes it suitble for everyone. i fully recommer this to ANYONE!
Enjoyment its not really my kind of anime it has it good points and it was one of the first anime's i watched i liked it a lot! i cannot say more then go watch

| Ich muss zugeben dass ich selten einen Anime so sehr unterschätzt habe wie Hakaima Dadamitsu. Ich ging davon aus das es sich hier nur um einen weiteren Anime der Marke "Superhero rettet die Welt vor bösen Aliens" handelt. Doch zum Glück lag ich hier gänzlich falsch und ehe ich mich versah avancierte dieser Anime zu meinen absoluten Favs. Sadamitsu brennt von Anfang an ein wahres Festival an turbulenter Action ab und überzeugt zudem noch durch eine tolle Story die dafür sorgt das sich Hakaima Sadamitsu von der breiten Masse dieser Art von Anime abhebt, zwar nicht weltbewegend aber doch motivierend genug um sich von der ersten bis zur letzten Episode als Spaßgranate aller erster Güte zu präsentieren. Doch es ist nicht die Action alleine die diesen Anime so unterhaltsam macht. Die ersten 3 Episoden sind zugegeben noch nicht allzu besonders auch wenn sie in punkto Unterhaltung keine Wünsche offen lassen, doch mit der Einführung des Charakters Yayoi Kamishiro wird Hakaima Sadamitsu erst richtig interessant zumal dieser Charakter zu den besten gehört die ich seit langem gesehen habe und weist eine großartige Entwicklung vor, durch diesen Faktor hat dieser Anime einen gewaltigen Pluspunkt auf seiner Seite da man unbedingt wissen will wie die Geschichte um die Figuren ausgeht und lässt einen förmlich am Bildschirm kleben. Es ist selten das bei einem Anime mit einer solchen Thematik die Charaktere so gut durchdacht sind und das bei einer insgesamten Länge von nur 10 Episoden. 10 Episoden hört sich wahrlich nicht nach viel an doch Sadamitsu schafft in diesen 10 Episoden das was manch anderer Anime in 26-52 Eps nicht schafft. Der Storyverlauf wird durchgängig spannend gehalten und es gibt haufenweise Actionszenen in Form von super animierten Fights, und hier und da gesellen sich noch ein paar sehr gut gelungene Comedy-Parts dazu. Hakaima Sadamitsu ist so etwas wie ein verstecktes Juwel, ein absoluter Spitzen-Anime der leider Gottes nicht allzu bekannt zu sein scheint. Also an alle die das hier gerade lesen: Diesen Anime muss man gesehen haben, und man sollte versuchen alles daran zu setzen an die Episoden ranzukommen, ich versichere das man nicht enttäuscht sein wird!

| Though the story starts out bland and typical. When the character Yayoi Kamishiro is introduced and the past relationship between her and Sadamitsu begins to surface, it becomes a lot more interesting. I summmary provided by animenfo.com is a lil misleading, he has no intimate relationship with the school doctor and the climax of the story is not really about him saving the earth, he does but its not really the most significant part. I don't wanna give more of it away. The enjoyment and replay value and hindered by the pure shortness of the series, I mean what is with 10 episodes, at least give us 13. But definitely above expectation, may not be a MUST see, but definitely recommended heavily by me.

| Changerion comes to anime! If you like super power-suit against rubber monster, this anime is for you! At the opposite of a shit like driver nothing is taking seriously here! You got memorable gag, fighting a majestic western opening and the mighty power of Sadamitsu!!!! The only bad point is that the series passes to fast!!! A couple more episodes would had been great!!!!! "I'm the destroyer, covered with blood!

| A Diamond in the treasure box called anime is how i'd describe Sadamitsu in one phrase!!!!
It's terribly funny in a refreshing way, i.e. without making use of comical animation. The characters have their personal touch that is brought together in a great way and results in an quote: "Awesome" series.
