| I hate to use an obvious pun, but the only thing miraculous about Miracle Girls was how boring it was. The whole story was one big "WHO CARES??" I don't want to spoil the story exactly, but the way the audience is just dropped into the middle of all those already-developed relationships makes having to watch them carry on very painful. Painfully tedious, that is. Watching ep 1, it felt like I was watching ep 20 or something - the characters, the situations, the anime just seems to assume that the viewer already knows a lot of things. I checked the bottom of the screen like 5 times to make sure I wasn't watching the wrong thing.
Anyway, bottom line is I don't recommend this, it's typical and stereotypical magic girl shoujo with some crappy romance thrown in for kicks. I can't say I actively disliked it, but it was excruciatingly boring and the soundtrack was something to weep over. Next, please!
