| A decent manga that gets kind of repetitive after a few volumes. There is never anything ground breaking that ever occurs in this manga and mostly throughout it is a manga of few conflicts and few "gotta read the next chapter" moments. In general, if you've seen the anime series (the newly made one , not the OVAs) then you can safely skip the first few volumes without missing anything "important." That said, it gives you an idea on what this manga is like, it doesn't really DO anything.
No good story, no good relationship really develops, I haven't read it to the end, but the beginning half was very boring and I disliked this manga enough to stop reading it.
The art style kind of annoyed me as well. Although the background is decent, the characters felt really ugly. I didn't like Belldandy's face shape, for example. Not to mention how ugly Morisato and his friends were.
Just a very simple, light-hearted fantasy manga without very much substance.

| One of the best manga that I have ever read. The characters are drawn with admirable detail and the storyline (while it drags sometimes) is - for the most part - exciting.

| Ahhh...my beloved...
Clearly my favorite out of any work produced, Aa! Megami-sama ties together beautiful character design (though admittedly, the first few volumes feel slightly akward, they rapidly blossom) with sweet characters in a sprinkling of situations both human and ethereal. Also a place for the occasional thoughful line that fit perfectly into various people's books of quotes. Both comedic and serious, painful and lovely, this series is a masterwork...and it shows in that it is still being produced.

| This is a manga that is impossible to hate. It's got humor, adventure, a bit of romance (minus the angst many things feature), and is generally touching. The world is very deep, implementing some norse mythology with a few twists. This is just a really great story that I can see anyone falling in love with.

| As a fan of Ah Megami Sama (Oh my goddess). This anime is awesome. The stroy start with goddess magic, but at the later part the effort of Keichi and his love with Belldandy had overcome the goddess magical issues.

| I only read a few graphic novels of this, and all I can say is great drawing and "okay" storyline... Feels like the graphic novels don't really link up together >.<
Worth buying if you have extra cash to spend

| I must say... there isn't much of a good story to this Manga, but Me and my sis been collecting this series since the first book. (some attachments to it I guess) =)
The beginning few books doesn't look all that... but later on... the artworks just amazing. =)

| This is my favorite manga ever! It does start off with some odd character design but Fujishima certainly develops as an artist during this manga and if you compare the begining ones to the newest volumes you'll be amazed. The stories are always entertaining and there is always something interesting fo reveryone wether it be racing or romance. The characters in the story are so loveable you just can't go wrong!

| At first the artwork was kind of dull but then again it was created in the 80s so that is expected. The overall story is interesting and the character design is very good and has a tendency to pull the reader in as well.

| Very enjoyable manga however it has gone downhill somewhat in the last few volumes. The story has become pretty stale and I really don't like the current design of characters (belldandy just doesn't look right). Still besides that I think great overall and can be really funny at times too. I just think they should end it soon (maybe 2 or 3 volumes to wrap up the story) because I don’t like the direction it’s headed right now.

| As I said before, you liked the Anime? you'll love the book. A little simple drawn at first, but you get to see Kosuke Fujishima's artwork improving on later volumes (very refined and quite a lot of work on the details). The story get better afterwards, anything to keep a romantic reader interested. As the story continues, you get to meet other characters helping the main ones' development. This manga is a good start to commence a collection, and I think it is a must of all Anime fans.
