| Does Shin Mazinger live up to its name? Certainly, although this could have been much better if it was given a much better animation budget.
If you're looking for some super robot show such as the latest hit, TTGL, look elsewhere.
This isn't what you'd think it would be since it's mostly plot based rather than action based for a super robot show.

| Mazinger Z is the first original Super Robot to be created by Go Nagai in 1972. It was a huge hit back then, and Shin Mazinger is the reboot of this awesome classic.
Some may complain that this show is not using the established Mazinger formula, but Imagawa's take on Mazinger Z is really special. With all the Mazinger series so far, Shin Mazinger Shogeki Z-Hen is a breath of fresh air.
