| Third season of Zero no Tsukaima, was in my opinion not as bad as the second one, but still is not as good as the first one.
In animation and sound part there is no much of a difference, so I will not make a huge statement out of this. As well as I thing you will like to see the preview seasons, or you watched them all ready.
The main story, at last makes meaning and sense. There are enemies in person showed, created and dangerous. Not like in the last two, when they were pulling the strings, but I for one haven't seen the string themselves.
There are two more heroines shown - Tifania and later in the show Irukukwu. As well as the last seasons background characters make more of a role.
The story also makes some turnovers jumping from one hero to another. Making you more or less focused on the story and not only on the characters.
Main heroes on the other side of the medal, evolve and grow too slow, in my opinion Saito and Louise should have become like they are in this (third season) right after the first one.
Fortunately I saw more of Saito's first personalty (normal boy) in this series then his second one (little pervert), even if more boobie girl appear.
Louise is as charming as ever, completely not able to hand herself with her fillings. Well that is her problem in this season - for god's love - after so much time she is still in a constant trauma of her own heart.
Other heroes, as I mentioned make to the main stream. I like Tabatha (Charlotte) with her role as a hostage, Guiche as the narcisstic fellow and Tifania - even if she is only a person for more breast in the show - well her innocent or even innoxious personality make her one of my favourite characters in this season.
But still this series could have been a lot better. It was the ending that make me wonder what is it all about? It seems sooner or later there will be 4th one coming. Well I wonder if I will have the motivation to watch it...
For me this one is an average anime, nothing to have from it, but nothing to loose as well.

| personally I am thinking zero no tsukaima gets worse every season. It started rather interesting but after three seasons the creators overdid it a bit with repeating the gags regarding breast size and failures in Louise's magic.

| wow i don't know what to really say... i'l start with this: if you enjoyed the previous 2 seasons you'll probably enjoy this one too. If u didn't, well then ya you probably won't enjoy it that much. Me, being a huge fan of the zero no tsukaima series, i really enjoyed this season, of course though, it still wasn't as great as season 2 (which was my favorite).
Animation: As a fairly new anime from 2008, you would expect some high quality animation, which it gave. I was very pleased.
Sound: The music in the openings and endings were good, but not as great as the season 2 ones, in my opinion. Still enjoyable, but not... AMAZING. The rest of the music was also very good, but i felt like they reuse too many of the soundtracks.
Story: The story was a bit dissapointing, but nonetheless very good. I think i just expected too much, from after watching season 2. The story was just kinda a continuation of the previous season, not really introducing anything much new. At times the story was very predictable, and also sometimes cliche, but i still really like it ^^.
Character: The characters are amazing, it was great to see some new, and old characters in this season. They introduce Irukukwu, which was pretty cool, and the elf from the last episode in season 2. Everyone else stayed the same, with Louise always calling Saito a dog. Though in this season she started calling him a water flea too.
Value: The value of this anime seems fairly high, I will probably re-watch it after some period of time. The best part was probably the ending. I loved all the endings to the seasons to this anime. Though, i still think that the ending was incomparable to season 2.
Enjoyment: Overall, i enjoyed this season very much. I really hope for another season, because this one kinda left us with a cliffhanger, and lots of questions unanswered.
p.s. lol i noticed i compared season 2 to this season a lot, tehee. It's mainly because i absolutly LOVED season 2 of zero no tsukaima.

| In a nutshell, the third season of Zero no Tsukaima was a total waste of time.
While I thoroughly enjoyed the first two seasons of Zero no Tsukaima, I'm still wondering why I took the time and effort to sit through the third season. Allow me to explain:
The animation was rather decent for a 2008 anime, however, nothing more than that. There is no animation improvement compared to the previous seasons, but the already rare fight scenes have regressed instead. Add to that huge, completely unnessecary amounts of fanservice and a rating of 7 for animation is more than generous.
Voice acting is also what you'd expect. Not bad, but a few of the characters have good/perfect voice actors. Other than that, the OP is nothing short of abysmal and I don't even want to start on the END.
And then where it all went horribly wrong: The Story.
Central elements in the story are the love relationship between Louise and Saito, as well as some dark evil power hiding plotting in the background and also something about Louise being a Void mage. The 4th season will probably air next summer and i'd say you can skip half of the third season wihtout missing anything. The reasong being none other than half of the third season consisting of pure filler. In story driven anime, filler is bad, espescially if the anime has a mere 12 episodes. Here, the third season falls flat on its face. The story has been traded for fanservice filler. The key story elements have little to no development, and the improvement of the love relation between Saito and Louise in the 2nd season is almost completely ignored, just for the sake of lame, repeated jokes from the first two seasons.
Where it goes almost as wrong is in the character department. We see a lot of our old friends, some new heroes and a new foe. Most of the characters (being female) are there for the sole purpose of fanservice or comic relief. The only real development between characters is between Saito and Henriëtta. Tabitha gets some attention, but this is so incredibly forced into the third season that it's laughable at best.
Having said all that, you'll understand that I find the third season of little value than any other bargain bin anime.
I'm looking forward to the 4th season of this series, simply because the first two seasons were, in my opinion, good and very enjoyable. The third season is different. The only logical explanation I have is that the entire crew working of this project first went on vacation to Amsterdam, got high on weed, shrooms, and probably a lot more other stuff, then afterwards did this installment of the show. I think that by now, you can understand what a dissapointment the third season is.

| Another summer has gone by... and another season of Zero no Tsukaima has been produced and watched. At this rate, one wonders why ~40 episodes have been made and not one thing has changed between everything and everyone in the setting. Saito is still an awesome pimp, Louise is still an irritatingly lovable tsundere, and their relationship still amounts to only barely above what they started out with. With this third season, we are introduced to Tiffania, the (half)-elf that appeared for a second or two last season, and a water-downed version of an intricate story that is decently entertaining thanks to a better effort in directing this time around.
Well, I'm still watching ZnT and after 40 episodes, I am anticipating a 4th season next summer, and why is this? What is so attracting about something that started off with so much hype and delivered so badly? I guess you can blame the state of anime back before 2006 and is still continuing to now: Saito is simply an awesome male lead character. Even when 50% of the series relies on him being surrounded by girls and never getting anything more than a kiss, he is simply fun to watch and we are all rooting for him to get what he deserves. Secondly is that we are all watching our favorite tsundere stereotype Louise, played by often type-casted Rie Kugimiya. I can never get enough of that squeally sexy voice that turns anything on whether it is in a bitchy or domestic mode. And thirdly I guess would be the female populace: new character Tiffania rivals Kirche is bustability but she dominates due to being voiced by Mamiko Noto, whose rash but soft-spoken voice is perfect for such a trivial half-elf.
Last season was a big failure, thus I fast-forwarded through the episodes a lot. The ending was a huge cop-out, too, as Walking Into Mordor turned into a cheesy 3 minute die-then-revive for the sake of a "baka inu" joke. This time around, things are more decent as the baka inu's have taken a back seat to make way for a better plot (or a lack of it due to) and MOAR FANSERVICE. Yes, no more stupid pornography book and silly items from the real world - bring in the big guns similar to the WWII fighter plane from season one! 80% of the story is focused on fanservice with the remaining 20% being sprinkled throughout the show at appropriate times. The directing is comparatively better than the 2nd season thus there was no reason for me to fast-forward through anything. Saito and Louise's relationship, while still often interrupted for the sake of the comedy, is better developed and actually progresses to a higher (but not by much) height. The only thing bothersome is a plot device somewhere 2/3 the way through that disrupts one of the better moments from season two. Also, I ,being among some of the people who have read synopsis of some later parts of the story (search for Sushi-Y's summaries), was disappointed with the story elements and character interactions in this adaption. At least everything is better than last season.
Now I shall anticipate a 4th season... if there is enough story material for that to happen. Also, there are rumors that Saito actually gets in on with Louise later on...

| Hmm...this show kind of turned to complete fan service...
Sure in season 1 there was some ecchiness and fan service, in season 2 there was a little more but...it seems that Princess no Rondo took it up another ten knotches.
The whole thing seems to revolve around breast while the actual story is put in there as nothing but a side note. If it wasnt so concentrated on fan sevice this might have been a good season...
