| Momoiro Sisters is a difficult anime to recommend to broad contexts. Why? Primarily due to that its target audience is almost selectively female with the situations it delves into, yet not quite, as the series provides rather ecchi situations involving the characters, from one female pervert (notably Sakura-san) who likes the grab the breasts of a female coworker (Yukari) to another character who likes to spew off conversations about sex in a heartbeat (Miki).
Watching this series a while ago reminded me of a relatively older version of Azumanga Daioh with regard to the mature (okay, moreso NON-mature XD) characters and storyline, yet the animation is visibly weaker than the latter counterpart. Still, considering this series creation in 1998, it's not terrible, just quite poor compared to contemporary standards.
I don't care for ecchi related humor in most contexts (I didn't like it in a few parts of this series...but meh), but something about this series overall made me laugh in points along the same lines of watching Azumanga Daioh, in conjunction with slice-of-life humor. It's downright random, rather cute when it shows romantic relationships of the two main couples in this series. This series also makes an honest attempt to address issues pertaining to women from having their first kiss, dieting, and overall relationships to workplace stress. It's nothing to take too seriously, however. In the same vein, at times it makes you go "What the devil?" at some of the conversations, anywhere from a girl's obsession over yaoi manga, to a girl who suffers from hemorroids, to frank, random assertions about sex.
There's no definitive, progressive plot with this series, only one where you basically sit back and watch what happens with each of the characters and their rather extreme circumstances. Considering this is a series of 24 episodes of 5-6 minutes a piece, one could finish this series technically in a day, so it's no idle waste of time in terms of watching. It technically shouldn't have any lasting value considering its non-linear, random nature, but I think one could enjoy this series a bit before the humor gets a bit dry towards the end.
I make a heistant recommendation to this series, primarily because I think one could enjoy the humor if they aren't too critical of the overall series and the (read: lack of) plot. I liked this a little more than I thought I would considering the content overall.

| At first, this series was a little bit too perverted for me to really care about, but as it went on I found it to be more enjoyable. It's real-life "issues" to the extreme, and through the "..wha?" parts there were quite a few times where I had to laugh. For such short episodes, they do okay- there's no real story except for a random continuation of their lives.

| Animation was not that great, but considering it is released in 98, +1 for antique. Sound was alright, there isn't much to it. As for story, it just lingers on ecchi stuff from a girls point of view.
Nothing is really new to me, so I didnt gain anything after watching this seris. 5 for story that is. Characters are funny at times but not really at some other times. No rewatch value, so this isn't a recommanded series for you to watch.

| Watched this back a few years (2001), still got the eps , haven't rewatched in a while. Must do.
It deals with , as said, women stuff. Kinda depicts the daily lives of some salarymen and OLs , as well as lives of some high school students.
Towards the end, the "storyline" gets kinda weird.
Contains the usual ecchi stuff and some passable jokes and humour.
Not extremely good, but not extremely bad either. The episodes are 5-6 minutes long, so this is a series you could watch in one sweep.

| One of those unbelievably entertaining short series.
Aside entertaining, there's nothing much more to it. The animation's hardly adequate. There's few catchy pieces of background music and the voice acting is OK. Usually few-episode long stories tell some random stuff about women's problems. Just as the description says. But it's hilarious. Characters don't have any amazing details into them, but enough for making it possible for the viewers to get along with them and laugh on their account.
The comedy (or anything else, for that matter) wasn't too original, but who the heck cares about that. Personally, I was able to get quite a lot out of this. Lots of giggling and some random human relationship stuff.
Not for too dense audiences.

| damo65 put it well with 'a cross between Ebichu and Azumanga Daioh...' (maybe toned down from Ebichu a tad though).
I must say though not a GREAT show, it was certainly an OKAY show. I'm glad it was about 6 minutes, cause I would NEVER have been able to sit through more than 15 minutes of this at a time.
One note, that horrible theme song sounds like it was performed by the same group that did the horrific theme for Ippatsu Kikimusume (worst song ever)... yuck.
Maybe take a look, a little ecchiwarning though...

I've now watched the whole series and my intial response is pretty close.
The younger sister lives in an Azumanga world infected with Ebichuisms.
The older sister is OL from Ebichu, as she would be if she had a younger sister from Azumanga.
I've updated my ratings accordingly.

| I really enjoyed this show!! I find it really funny, clever, and an all round good show! The sex jokes didn't ever get on my nerves... ^^;; read on..

| Well, as written in the description this anime focuses on women's problems... and soo it does. At first it seems a little descriminating, but once you've seen some episodes of it's better.
So, it's worth watching.

| Picked this up off of the Animesuki torrents, and it's an interesting watch. I enjoyed it, but its humor was starting to go a stale at the end. It puts itself up to be tongue-in-cheek educational about women's problems, but that should be pretty meaningless for the average anime watcher.
As short humor pieces, Momoiro Sisters does a good job. For some reason, after a few listens, the intro song started to grow on me too...
