This is the story of a fox spirit who manifests in both male and female form. He/She (From now on, she for sake of brevity) lives with two boys and their father. A priestess joins along. Hilarity ensues. Charming with some genuinely funny moments but definitely could have done a lot more with its many disparate parts.

Wagaya is about a mystical fox that protects the Mizuchi family clan. Some episodes are plot-focused but the majority of the episodes are comedic based slice-of-life.

It's a fairly well rounded series that showed great potential early on but failed to deliver a intriguing plotline.

If you want a decent slice of life series with a little drama and a little action, this is your show. If you want a serious romance/drama or an action series, this is not your pick.

I'm reviewing this anime after seeing the first seven episodes, and my main point to review it is for people looking for recomendations on what new anime is worth watching.

The animenfo description gives one the general idea; family descended from shrine keepers with two boys takes up with Ku, a guardian fox spirit. So far it is pretty episodic about what Ku, Toru, and Noboru are doing.

So far, I'm becoming a fan of this series; it isn't monumental, but it is entertaining and friendly enough that I've been able to enjoy it. Compared to other new anime, it seems it has much less H-ness, which lends to its quaintness.

I look forward to see how it develops.
