| A story about a couple who find meaning in loving each other after going through many bad experiences. This anime offers the story from the viewpoint of the guy and the girl, so if some parts don't make sense to you, then you should watch both so it all sums up nicely.
Not much attention is paid to animation, the characters and backgrounds are not well detailed, but even though so, it didn't bother me, as the story was the main focus of this show.
The characters are few in the show, but each play an important part in helping Yuudai and Chizuru realise their feelings for each other. But it is the mini donkey that strangely leads the main characters into meeting each other and helping them to overcome their own fears. One thing the story could have done better was the fact that the 2 main characters had different love experiences rather than similar ones.
What I liked best about the anime was that both episodes covered all aspects of the show nicely, but it would have been better had more effort been put into backgrounds, and more episodes, that way there would have been better character development.
There isn't an OP in the show, but there are 2 ED's, which IMO are pretty ok.
All in all, Tokyo Marble Chocolate is worth watching, as it explores love from the viewpoints of both sexes.
