| Koharubiyori is a 3 episode OVA series that is based on the manga of the same name. It's a comedy ecchi anime series, as well as being a maid robot fetish, has the cow beating to death yet?
The animation is decent for an OVA, there are some quality issues, like jagged lines and something rough character stylings. But overall, it is still pretty decent quality.
Sound is also pretty generic. With the opening theme being a somewhat rap-like song sang by the main character. The cast is composed of mostly newcomers to the industry. While their voice are not bad, one can immediately get that there is still a way to go comapre to the best seiyuu in the industry.
The story is somewhat of a mess. There is zero consistency in between each story "clip" (there's 3 per episode), and I suspect they were taken randomly from the manga. While each of them on its own is decent, it just makes zero sense to be put in this sequence. The only good thing is the subtle parodies/in-jokes the writers have put into the anime, but that save the incoherent storyline.
The characters just start popping out of nowhere randomly, and it's hard to grasp them if you haven't watch the manga. Even for Yui, her character is not consistent in the anime. While it shows that she likes Takaya (duh), but the way she shows her affection really go against the anime.
If you have watched the manga and enjoyed it, you might wanna check out this OVA, otherwise, there is not much point to watch it. There are much better maid fetish ecchi anime out there.

| Koharubiyori (or Koharu biyori, depending on whom you ask) is the tale of a perverted young man that buys a robot maid and the things that ensue.
This three episode OVA is a writing disaster.
Urban legend states that they made this as a test for the networks, and all of them passed on it, so they released it as an OVA. They should have kept it on the shelf.
