| Ninomiya-kun is about a not-so ordinary high school guy and his meetings with not-so ordinary girls.
First thing first, this series is extremely ecchi. There is a LOT of suggestive material and younger (I'd say <14) viewers should avoid this.
The actual show is pleasantly enjoyable if you can tolerate the overflow of fan service and the inconceivableness of the entire situation.
The majority of the show just introduces the characters as they go on mini-adventures before culminating in a substantial building of the story in the end.
Overall, this is a decent watch for those who can live with some fan service. It isn't the best harem out there but definitely not bad.

| Goshushosama Ninomiya-kun is a semi-harem type anime. This time we're dealing with the opposite of Girls Bravo. It isn't a guy who has a phobia of women. It's a girl this time. Her name is Mayu. Except it isn't a disease. In fact is that she has a secret. And that secret is that she's a succubus. She is unable to control her own power which results her into attracting men. However there is one person that isn't affected by it. That guy is Shungo Ninomiya. He's a special martial artist who takes on bizarre jobs with his sister. I mean really bizarre. But however it seems like he will be using his bizarre powers to help Mayu when she's in trouble especially at school. Next character we have a Hokujo Reika who becomes a maid for the Ninomiya family. How did she become one? Well actually she's the student council president who challenged the Ninomiya family and she lost. But now she can sleep over the same roof as Shungo and not to mention as "keep an eye on him." So has to keeping an eye on him we know why she challenged the family. However she too has a secret as well...
The beginning of each episode we get this really short story which i find hilarious. Don't worry these short story don't have to do with anything about the story itself. Some are pretty funny. And some parts in the story itself is funny. I thought most of it was from Mayu and Shungo. Oh my favorite scene is when Reika is in some foreign county talking to some noble person. Maybe Saudi Arabia? I don't know the exact location. No I'm not trying to be offensive. "maikagame?" his expression was good.
Oh my personal favorite character is, Reika's servant, Hosaka Mitsuru.
The character i dislike is Kirishima Shinobu, because i don't like her personality. And red eyes hmm...
Now I will say that this is better than Girls Bravo because this keeps me more entertained thatn Girls Bravo. Why? Because of the jokes, misunderstandings, and the action. However there is no extreme ecchi scenes shown here unlike in Girls Bravo. So they did a good job without using one. If they did then it would kind of bore me immediately. Now the character that doesn't ruin the show at all is Shungo. His attitude and also his martial arts is what makes this an interesting anime.
In animation wise, I tend to notice that some characters looks and animation is different from others. I mean some characters in my opinion don't fit in with the rest of the characters in animation.
For sound wise, I would say its okay. Well the animation and the Opening music for some reason didn't go well. For sound all the voices we're done well especially Shungo's sister and Mayu's brother. Actually Mayu's brother's voice is what kept me going.
Overall this anime is a decent show to watch. At least it won't disappoint you.

| Goshushosama Ninomiya-kun (I've also seen it spelled Goshuushou-sama Ninomiya-kun; it's hard to tell which is correct) is the tale of Ninomiya Shungo, a typical high school student and soldier-of-fortune in training. He meets two women, Maya and Reika. Reika is the heiress to the Hokujo family fortune, and the class president. The three of them share a past and go on some adventures together to help Shungo regain his memory. With him are his soldier of fortune sister Ryoko, Maya's brother Mikihiko, and others.
Maya and Reika share a dark secret, however. Both of them are succubi and if they kiss a man, they end up absorbing some of his life force. Shungo falls for both of them, but it's a case of they want to and he wants to, but they can't.

| Ninomiya is a typical harem show with a bunch of girls going after the main character. If you're expecting something with amazing animations and well developed characters then you'd be better off looking else where. If you're somebody who doesn't want to use too much brain power and you just want to watch some fanservice comedy then welcome aboard. It's probably not going to stay in your mind, because of the long title and will probably be remembered as the show with lots of fanservice that is so hard to pronounce.
The animations were decent at best, but most of the time they were bad. The eye catches were nice and were like a bazillion times better than the actual animations in the anime. Sad. Character designs are cute, but sometimes the animations get a little off and their faces become distorted. Sad. And Scary. There was a lot of fanservice, so those who are after that genre will love the animations, I guess?
Voice acting was meh ..... Mayu's voice annoyed me. Reika's voice just sounded so typical and Ninomiya was just average. At least the OP/ED songs were upbeat and energetic. Background music is forgettable though.
The plot is nothing you haven't seen. Just add harem and succubus and you have Ninomiya. The anime does have a few story parts to it, but it felt forced and weird compared to the comedy aspect of this anime. There was basically no plot in the beginning, except for those annoying flash back memories of Ninomiya when he was little. Those were annoying and set the pacing of the anime off. (There was a whole episode about ramen. That was just plain horrible and I just skipped the entire episode.) The ending tried to insert a plotline and there you can finally connect those stupid flashbacks to the plot. It was weird though, because when they try to insert a plot, it just felt forced. I would've liked it better if they just sticked with the fanservice comedy instead of trying to add a half baked plot near the end.
The characters are decent. The main male lead is strong and gets to defeat ninjas and soldiers and guess what, his name is Ninomiya. Then we have Mayu who is a succubus that has problems talking with other men, besides Ninomiya. She was annoying. You have Reika who in my opinion was an average rival with a few good points. Overall, the characters were decent enough to carry the show. But in the end they still annoy me.
Ninomiya won't kill you. It's just another fanservice comedy that doesn't stray too far from the usual. Ninomiya won't win best animations, good voice acting, great storyline, or well developed characters, but it's just something you can watch without using too much brain power. Fanservice fans rejoice, because Ninomiya will fit your needs. Everyone else just refer to this anime as that long to spell name with a succubus.

| Well I have been pondering over this anime for a while now and I have been wondering why it isn't more popular. I mean it is very similar to girls bravo but in my opinion tons better. OK with that said the basic plot of the story is about Shungo Ninomiya a typical nice guy but who also get beat people down with his martial art skills. Enter Mayu the succubus who is afraid of guys to the mix and the story begins.
The animation I felt was done decently. By no means was it amazing but it was solid. I will say this though many of the fight scenes were very akwardly drawn, and it was only at these times did I see the negative effects of an average animation I truly do like the style of this anime, but I could see it wouldn't be everyones favorite. Some of the costume desgins weren't my favorite but other than that solid.
I did enjoy the title and ending music. Very catchy and upbeat. I didn't enjoy the flashback music at all though. I docked the score because of that one song! LOL.
Story, well it is a typical ecchi comedy. Guy somehow has to live with girl and crazy things happen. Also add in a sketchy flashback of the past with the main character and bang you have the out line of Goshushosama Ninomiya-kun. There are some twists that are unique to the anime, like the main girl is a succubas, (and there are others but I won't go spoil all that). Also there is the rich girl (Mikuru) who also enjoys the company of Shungo Ninomiya and this love triangle is a heavy part of the story.
The characters are all ok but nothing too impressing. I liked Mikuru the best and I thought she looked the best also! :-) I am not too into Mayu the pink haired bubbly girl, she was typical. Shungo was also the typical male nice guy who can fight who tries to help whenever needed. The saving grace to the characters were the secondary characters like Shungo's older sister. Very funny, but not around much.
I watched this on the net for free but I might buy it if I couldn't get it for free. I enjoyed it quite a bit more than I expected and people who like Bravo will like this.
Oh PS I found this anime in a search engine and I had to spell it Goshusho-sama (with the dash in it). Just heads up.

| I was pleasantly surprised by this anime it's very up beat and entertaining. This anime should probably also be tagged ecchi or atleast very mild ecchi. Not surprising since the plot involves the succubus influence over the characters in this anime.
The plot builds up through the anime unraveling Ninomiya-kun's past through a series of memories revealing more about how all the characters are intertwined, in a very Love Hina eque motif. I would highly recommend this anime to any person that enjoyed Love Hina and wants an anime to improve their spirits and offer plenty of humor. I found myself laughing out loud more than a few times every episode.

| Surprisingly,Goshuushosama Ninomiya-kun is not tagged ecchi.Shame on animes whose its main concept is focused all about fanservice like Girls Bravo and even showed nudity during. However,Goshuu is not very much different too.
Male viewers would enjoy
-fanservices apparently
-cute girls
Female viewers 'would' enjoy
-cute characters
-the not-so-impressive story
This is your ideal anime if you are searching for a light-heart comedy anime with some fanservices. You will like it but you won't go deep.

| Even as I craft this review, I wonder how I could have enjoyed Goshushosama Ninomiya-kun as much as I did-or why I kept coming back to it despite how many times I wanted to (and actually did) drop the series. For the most part, the presentation is in the typical flare of most romantic ecchi comedies with similar formulatic humor from bust jokes to yuri implied thematics and beyond.
The series begins with a story that's quite out of the ordinary, at least from my perspective because I don't typically watch (or like) series of this genre as much. Shungo Ninomiya is a specialist trained in the martial arts, and he's handy in getting himself out of sticky situations utilizing his combat talents. Yet, he finds himself using those skills in more ways than one when a girl named Mayu and her brother come to live with him under strange circumstances.
Mayu is no ordinary girl-she's a succubus who attracts the attention of men and can feed off their life energy. The odd end coincidence about it is....she has an intense androphobia, hence the reason she comes to live with Ninomiya-kun. XD This makes for a lot of crazy interactions, and add to the main cast Reika Houjo, a girl who takes on a leading role as their student council president, becomes their maid to "keep an eye" on Ninomiya-kun in his relations with Mayu.
I'll admit that I found this series funny in spurts-from a whole episode in over the top premises dedicated to Ninomiya-kun and company preparing ramen for his masochistic sister (I'll get to that in a bit with the characterization) to Mayu figuring out that the ninja's trying to attack her aren't just in "funny costumes". There's not a serious, detailed story to be found in this series-though it does attempt to establish the characters a bit more with respect to Ninomiya's past and some forgotten memories. There's also a bit of a love triangle between the main three characters. I didn't have a lot of expectations coming into this series or coming out of it, so I think that's one reason why I wasn't deterred by the similar thematics and jokes that prevailed through it.
Animation wise-I didn't like the character designs all that much, but I later came to understand that it was adapted straight from the manga version, but the transition could have been a little better. The cel backdrops were good in setting the scene for the series, so I had to give it that. The fluidity of the action scenes was rather understated, and mediocre in comparison to other series.
Sound is probably the strongest aspect of the series. The OP for this series, "Yubikiri" was very catchy in a electronic, upbeat J-pop stylistic. The opening animation sequence suited it well, particularly in the scene where Mayu and Ninomiya-kun are seen running from the hordes of men after them XD "Furefurepponpon" didn't really catch on to me as the ending theme, but I think people who like the style of the OP would enjoy it. VA work is quite well done too, considering an all star cast of members in the seiyuu persuation, including Mai Kadowaki (who's in way too many harem series to count) and Miyuki Sawashiro, both of whom perform the OP/ED themes.
Character-wise: by all means, with Mayu's typical harem bubble-headed personality this side of Mikuru from SHnY (and not so much a parody)-I shouldn't have liked her at all, but she did make me laugh-quite a bit in places (particularly in a few of the opening bit stories...and the yaoi manga interpretation XD)
Ninomiya-kun is a decent male lead for a series of this type, sometimes funny, other times he kind of falls into the same sticky situations most leads do when it comes to romance/harem...maybe a little more harrowing because of his combat specialty. :P
I thought Reika's character was okay-she does tend to "accidentally" fall into some precarious situations (particularly subjected to Ninomiya-kun's sister...who gives her "punishments" as a maid), but she's a character you come to like and laugh at in some of her over-the-top reactions, particularly when it comes to Ninomiya-kun. I found her introduction funny, considering Mayu was pretty much handing it to her. :)
Side characters did stand out for their humor roles in places, even brightening the atmosphere in some rather precarious situations for the characters.
Overall, I think Goshushosama Ninomiya-kun is worth watching once. It's typical of its genre, but I think those who follow series like this would really enjoy it more. Those who want something story-heavy or unique won't find it here, but it's not a story to come into with too many expectations, and something that the viewer could "come along for the ride". Would I watch it again? Maybe, but I'll admit it wasn't a series that stuck with me.

| Ninomiya-kun is like the flipped version of Girls Bravo. If you have watched Girls Bravo before, you would have noticed the extremely similar art style and the even the main attraction of the story is quite familiar. Girls Bravo features a boy who's afraid of girls while Ninomiya-kun features a girl who's afraid of boys. In the end it becomes somewhat of a weird and random ecchi/harem story.
The animation is decent, but there really is some big consistent issue with the drawing of the characters. The fight and action scenes is pretty mediocre too.
The sound is probably the best point in this anime. Surprisingly the "big name" seiyuu are only doing a small supporting role, but the 3 main characters all did their part quite well.
The story suffers its typical ecchi story problem. The series wasted its first half with random jokes and ecchi scenes, and then all of a sudden, the second half becomes a serious and dramatic story that gives the audience an information overflow with too many flashbacks. In the end, I can get what the story is about, but it could be much better if the pacing is improved.
The main characters are developed nicely, although there shouldn't be much expectation. But like others, the supporting characters are pretty much as is, they could have more background information, but there just isn't time to be put in for them.
Overall, this is another watch and forget ecchi anime. While it is not horrible, it is not the anime where you would be expecting any substance in it.
