Basically, I love this anime. The animation and the sound are beautiful, but that is unimportant compared to the emotion caused by watching the show. At least for me, each episode was like walking to the top of a mountain where all of a sudden, a breath-taking vista spreads out before you and you are speechless—caught up by the power of the spectacle which is before you. For whatever reason, to me, Eve is a powerful and emotional show. On the surface it is about androids who act so similarly to humans that people begin questioning whether androids deserve to be treated the same as well. However, like all good science fiction, I think this show is very applicable to our world here today even though we don't have to worry about whether to treat our computers with human dignity just yet. I think deeper down Eve is about acceptance and about how we handle and deal with new situations, especially when they radically alter our perception of how the world around us works. And possibly most importantly, Eve is about how love conquers all regardless of who (or what) you are and where you come from.

I'm a big fan of Isaac Asimov, and this anime has definitely been influenced by his works, that much is fairly obvious by the use of his "3 laws of robotics" as a core part of the plot.

I have only watched 2 episodes as of now, but will update my review as I see more, which is something I definitely plan on doing...the show has really caught my attention.

The main topic is about the relationships between Humans and Androids in an era in which house robots are a common thing.

Most people treat the androids badly, or as tools (which they are supposed to be) but a boy concerned with some unusual logs in his house robot report follows the trail only to find a coffee place in which it is impossible to differentiate between the two.

Society is worried about younger people getting too attached to robots, and in such a society it is an understandable concern, but after going to the Eve coffee house, this way of thought might be put into a totally different perspective.
