Pro-Tip: This is one of those films you'd want to watch on best possible quality. Avoid YouTube (even the HD ones) and other Flash based sites.

| A mystery/supernatural 7(?) part film anime. The animation is brilliant, the soundtrack fits it well and the story is hard to review, as the first two parts I've seen are fairly unrelated. Character development is slow or nonexistent so far with the exception of the main character Shiki, and you're left with lots of questions. Hopefully these will be answered in future parts. The main criticism I have is the script, pretentious philosophical ramblings are used, and I'm sure Haagen Dazs paid someone a lot of money for all the strategic advertising that appears throughout the first part of the film.
