| I was hoping that it was an OVA that continues from where the series left off. This way it can be a head way to a new series.
However, instead this is a story about the past. Around the time line when Meg and Joe left New York, but now returning to visit their own orphan buddies.
With very little back story from the OVA, you really can't watch it as a stand alone episode. It does fit in perfectly if they were to actually have had this as an episode in the animated series in 2004. It explains where Joe got her scarf and why her hair is short as well.
As an OVA itself, you'll find that it is rather weak as there is very little to grasp in this short episode.

| Meines Erachtens ist diese OVA völlig unnütz. Sie spielt zwar in der Vergangenheit von Jo und Meg offenbart aber nichts Essenzielles im Zusammenhang mit den Geschehnissen in der TV-Serie und gibt auch keine tieferen Einblicke in die Beziehungen der beiden Charaktere. Inhaltlich präsentiert sich diese Episode gänzlich flach und das Skript ist sehr einfallslos: Irgendein namen- und profilloser Serienkiller taucht auf und Jo und Meg machen sich auf diesen zur Strecke zu bringen. Das ganze läuft dann nach dem Schema ab das schon in der Serie auf Dauer langweilg und monoton wurde, sprich Meg wird vom Fiesling gekidnappt und Jo muss sie aus dessen Fängen wieder freiballern. Die Unkreativität dieser OVA könnte man noch verschmerzen wenn wengistens die Action stimmen würde, aber auch hier enttäuscht Infinity auf ganzer Linie, denn das was in der Hinsicht geboten wird ist relativ lahm und unspektakulär. Die TV-Serie hatte in der Sparte sehr viel Besseres zu bieten. Fazit: Burst Angel Infinity kann man getrost auf den "OVAs die keiner wirklich braucht"-Haufen schmeissen. Schwacher Inhalt, lahme Action, enttäuschend.
