| This is a better OVA compared to the S. ifr I saw yesterday. First, this makes more sense than the S.Ifr OVA as it really can be be said to be a sequel of Mai Otome.

| I usually don't watch short OVA releases, but for some reason I felt inclined too since I enjoyed the series so much! All I can say is that I am glad I did! The story takes place one year after the last episode in the original series. (They tell you that right away, but another way to tell is that Arika's breasts are a little bigger, not that I noticed or anything...) All of the original characters are still involved and everyone is working together, which i will admit is a nice thing to see. Fortunately, we still get to see good action in every episode! If you enjoyed Mai Hime or Mai Otome, I recommend watching this! (Although I recommend watching Mai Otome first so you know who all of the characters are since they skip reintroductions!)

| Mai Otome Zwei doesn't reveal anything new about any characters from Mai Otome or Mai HiME. It's merely four episodes on a series of events that happen not long after where Mai Otome ends. The plot feels a lot like a repitition of the plot of Mai Otome. There's a lot of great action and some of the cooler characters return, but the story doesn't have much weight.

| I decided to leave a short review of Mai Otome Zwei since only 1/4 episodes have been released. It should at least give an indicator on how the OVA fairs.
