| Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge was pretty much a one trick pony. Four “handsome” guys promise to change one hermit of a girl into a lady in order to get free rent. Full stop. End of story. Yet despite this lack of depth, YNSH is actually quite entertaining. The fascinating female lead almost makes up for the lack-lustre storyline and cookie-cutter supporting characters.

| Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge (aka Wallflower) is an enjoyable anime. Although it doesn't have much Love-Romance, it has lots of Comedy.
Pros:
- Unique character of Sunako;
- Funny yet heartwarming in some scenes;
- Noi + Takenaga are great!
- It's easy to care about the main characters... at least it was for me.
Cons:
- Animation. I didn't mind the character designs, but I did mind what seemed like lazy animation.
- Not much resolution in the end.
For more about each point, read my extended review. However, in general, it was refreshing to have an anime series with a gothic feel to it that didn't take itself too seriously. I'd watch it again for the hilarious antics of Kyouhei, Ranmaru, Takenaga, Yuki, Noi, and Sunako... and especially the landlady and Tamao!!!

| This is like a romantic comedy, though mostly defined by its comic parts. A pretty good series hindered by horrible, terrible animation, predominantly on character animation. It makes you wonder if all of the guys had extreme lip augmentation surgery.
Anyways, despite such significant deterrant, this series has some nice aspects as well. Characters and their voices are great. Sunako is a good reason enough to watch this anime. Very likeable character with a perfect and hilarious voice acting. Indeed, one of my all time favorite characters. Noi is another character who deserves praise as well. The rest of the characters are good, but unmemorable.
Finally, a lighthearted series with some original traits focused primarily on comedy. The story is appealing, though not original, and it is being developed at a slow pace. Still, who cares? A rather simple and lighthearted series that will make you laugh many times - that is good enough for me.

| 4 beautiful guys? pah! It took 8 episodes until i finally got used to the character design. They're ugly as sin!
Aside from that, the show is actually fairly entertaining.. well, Sunako is the only character that makes me watch the show. Out of the billion characters in the show, she's the only one who has a personality. A unique personality. The four guys are not only horribly designed, there is nothing about them that makes them unique. They all have typical "blank" personalities. Absolutely nothing special about them.
As for the plot, not super original, but good enough to make me want to see the show in the first place. Four guys, horribly ugly designed guys, have to turn gothic-horror-movie-freak Sunako into a lady. Reverse harem much? Indeed. Of course, the show plays it out obvious who Sunako will end up with in the end. Minus 10 points -_-;;
The animation is mediocre, considering it was made this year. It is way below titles that came out this year, such as the Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi and Ouran High School Host Club. It isnt even up to par with Fruits Basket that came out several years ago. They must not have a very good budget because a majority of the time the characters are animated "chibi-fied" (Sunako mostly) and you barely get to see how they actually look (actually i like it better when the guys are chibi).
Even though the animation is horribly inconsistent, the humor isnt, and thats what makes me like the show. If you can tolerate the male character designs and inconsistent animation, you might have an anime favorite here.

| This is one funny anime.. 4 super hot guys whos living in a mansion apartment need to make the owner's niece to a lady to get free rent ang living expences. But the girl is a horror freak and she dont want to show her faces.. And she always gets a nose bleed when she sees what she called "dazzling creature" or "top product of God".. She is afraid of bright things, and she has some weird doll friends like a skeleton manikin and other stuffs.. I have watched three episodes and i really like it. It's like a more stupider ouran host club comedy.
