| what happened to the fine slayers humour. this ova is just plain boring.i sometimes lost my concentration because i planned my next meals while watching. lina inverse comes very short and is never able to bring on her funny potential. she has none to quarrel with and naga is so annyoing that it hurts. HAHAHA. that is what describes her best. she says nothing that makes sense and is just unbearable to watch. overall the worst slayers i have seen so far and i think it cant get any worse because normally lina inverse alone is enough to make me laugh very hard.

| Ok, Slayer Excellent is not so excellent. It's bad very bad. There's no story, no shit, just a annoying bitch Naga who just come and goes(remind you of Xellos) but she got no quality in her, her laugh suck, her custume blow, either her part job is a whore or she's very low on money. Naga made everything worst and more trouble for Lina, some one go kill her.
Not worth watching even you a hard-core fan of Slayer. Acutally if you a fan, this stuff will only dissapoint you. I only like 1 scene where Lina used old gag about cute and innocent to escape the trouble she made. So cute nyo~~

| The problem I've always had with the Slayers movies and oavs has been their lack of character.
Which is bizarre, really, because Slayers has always been about character.
It only works if the characters work. And Lina _always_ works because, well, she's Lina. She's a raving nutjob in the form of a 16 year old readhead with the kind of magical powers you wouldn't give to a saint lest they use it in a fit of pique.
But as good a character as Lina is, she really can't hold up a show completely on her own, and that is, often, what the movies and the oavs have to do. Because, first of all, the one-off characters never really get enough time to be developed, even if they are often amusing.... But secondly, because of Naga.
Naga is something of a three-joke character. She's clueless and sees Lina as her rival, there is more mass to her chest than there is of Lina in total and she has the kind of laugh that peels paint from walls. The end. There really isn't any depth to Naga. At least, none that we see.
It would be nice if these episodes, which show the first few adventures Lina and Naga go through, gave us something that showed some insight into Naga's life and why she has become the person she is now.... But it doesn't. That doesn't mean I don't know about Naga's past, but that has been through different sources....
And so, you could say that the crux of my problem with Slayers Excellent is Naga. Oh, if only other series had problems like these.... Because, in the end, Naga isn't all that bad.
I always find Slayers taps into certain judgemental weaknesses in me. :)

| The worst in the slayers-series. The last episode is totally stupid, especially the ending of the last episode. The jokes are predictable. Every episode begins with Lina eating on a restaurant as she gets disturbed during her meal of someone... It's like someone has put together all the left-overs and come up with this OAV. Boring. Stupid. Dumb
