| i have seen funnier slayers movies before. but perhaps i am getting immune against the repetitive humour about linas little breasts or nagas annoying laugh. especially the first episode that contains solely her laughter that makes you want to choke her for real. what surprised me was the fine animation. it was never such a pleasure to watch slayers. overall not as hilarious as previous slayers movies or series but still an easy time to fill 90 minutes.

| The show rating goes down 5% everytime Naga do her evil laugh. It's really annoying and disturbing. Really scary stuff. If sure you don't want any kids under 13 to see this kind of laugh, they might thought you YES YOU WATHER some kind of weirdo watching these stupid ppl do stupid laughing.
Atleast this one is better than excellent THX GOD Naga is behave like a human being or atleast have some agree moments with our Lina which is a good sign. Althou she still have her evil laugh and think in the weirdest way she can be funny this in set of OVA. Overall it's a 2nd from the bottom of all the Slayer OVA.

| Slayers The Book of Spells is one Slayers OVA i've wanted to see for a while. I had heard it was very good. After watching it I must say I am somewhat dissapointed. The second episode Jeffery's Knighthood was the only really funny episode. I still think it is worth watching, especially for Slayers fans. However the TV series and some of the movies were much better. If you want to know more read on.

| Okay, you need to like the weird idiotic and ridiculous type of humor to apreciate the slayers. And apparantly I do. Most people I know really hate Naga. Not me. I love to immitate het hideous laughter.
I think the third story, "Mirror, Mirror" is the best by far.

| All of these were pretty awful. The Awful Chimera Plan was by far the worst.
Turns out that I have been quoting the wrong title... I think the one I hate was called "Jeffrey's Knighthood". Still, the rest were mediocre at best, more like just plain bad. Don't bother watching these...
I loved the Slayers series, but the humor in these OAVs was overshadowed by extremely annoying characters. Mirror, Mirror was almost decent, however... out of the three it is the most palatable.
Three, as I have yet to see Dragon Slave and Explosion Array. If I do my ratings might increase by a point or two.
In any case, I wasn't going to review this, it hurts to give an otherwise great franchise such a terrible review. But if I can save some poor soul who might ruin their Slayers fan-dom...

| 3 Stories that aren't connected at all. Better than the movies, these stories are big jokes that's all. Each of them resolve around a jokes and they build a story around this joke.
First ep joke: Lina would really look silly being a chimera and a guy want to do it. Naga laughing is scary but lots of Naga laughing together is simnply impossible to bear.
Second ep joke: A worthless kid wants to become a knight and her big and ugly mother have convinced him that he is a great warrior . The beat the crap out of anybody that says something against her child.
Third Ep. Joke: Try imagining exactly the opposite of Lina and Naga. They are there in this episode.
Overall: 8 (extremely funny)

| AHHHHH!!!!! Make sure you've got the mute button ready. In the first episode Naga laughs for two or three minutes STRAIGHT DOWN! More than enough reason to not watch anymore. The first and second suck. The third might be worth watching. Though as a Slayers fan, this is one of the crappiest I've seen.

| Die 3 verschiedenen Kapitel die dieses OVA umfassen sind , na wer kanns erraten...?....LAHM -__- Naga geht mir auf gut deutsch gesagt auf den Sack. Lustig waren die Geschichten schon, halt das was man von Slayers erwartet aber wie ich schon sagte...ohne die Crew...*arg* -__-

| The stories are worse than the original series, even if they try to be something special. The most annoying is Nagas stupid laughs. You who think likewise will have a hard time watching the first episode. The best episode was "mirror, mirror".
