| Dang I just posted a long review over this but the site logged me off before I could post it. Oh well that just goes to show to not post as long. This anime was decent, but it wasn't great.
The animation was choppy and they used the the same animations sometimes over. (I watched it over a 3 days and it was easier to notice) Some of the animation was off but it wasn't horrible.
The sound was forgetable. The title music was catchy but I only listened to it once or twice. The sound inside the show was a bit flat I must admit but eh I didn't bother me really.
The story was good, but there was a bunch of fluff that could of have been cut out to and help take the story to a deeper level. The last part of the anime the story really comes out but it takes 8 episodes to do it! I thought the there were a few holes but again nothing too serious. There wasn't much character development and that is always disapointing. Also there were a few twists that that kept it going. Some were obvious and some were not.
Characters were all a bit flat and normal except for Jun a guy who looks and dresses like a girl. Adds some interesting quirks to the show. I also got a bit confused with some of the characters because the looked a lot alike. Maybe that is my fault but it was bothering.
I watched this for free and that made it better. Would I buy it? Probably not. I would buy a lot of others first at least. I did enjoy it though and if you are bored this is a decent one to pick up. It was my 75th anime series and or movie on my list and it ranks in the middle.

| This anime is infamous for one thing only: Jun Watarase, the sexy trap that paved his way into the hearts of many that have grown fond of him. Otherwise, Happiness! is your typical H-game turned anime - stereotypical and attractive female characters surrounding a bland but special male lead with 2/3 of the episodes focusing on random generic stories filled with fanservice and the last 1/3 on the actual plot. I recommend finding a rapidshare of the HCG set later for keeps as the art is very good despite the adaption you see here.
