LOL! That part cracks me up. I think I have gotten used to naga's laugh too. Maybe I could even do that world domination laugh myself. xD
At first I find it to be very annoying, but after seeing the entire slayers movie with naga in it. Her laugh finally got me.
I find this Slayer to be hilarious that is until the big dragon show up. At least compare to the others slyers movies, this one is better.

| After watching a lot of slayers stuff, i found this to be really repetitive. It basically is the same as the previous slayers movies (read my reviews on them to get a better idea) but this time there is this huge serpent thing that is supposed to be a dragon, and lina just happens to blast them off with her usual line of magical spells, with the help of a few others..

Since the creator will naturally stick with the same formula that made the rest of the series so popular, watching a movie from the later half of the Slayers lifecycle will probably not bring anything new or exciting to the table. Still, I had an hour to kill so I watched it anyway.
First let me say that this is the first full slayers movie that I’ve seen – and I’ve only seen about an episode or two of the series. Despite this, a reviewer can still be able to tell the freshness of a joke or, on a grander scale, a plotline. Well the milk has gone bad.
Ok, so I didn’t really hate it. It just seemed so stale. This movie could be easily compared to a Dragonball Z movie – you can expect little or no development on the side of characters, a minuscule plot, and crammed with fighting (or in Slayers case, humor) to still be barely entertaining. After all, these movies only serve the purpose of milking the name and concept so that its makers can receive just a little more money without having to put any effort into creating something completely original and better.
“Barely entertaining” would probably be the best way to describe it:
1-The humor managed to only make me chuckle once or twice (most of it was horribly corny).
2-The animation was NOTHING to be impressed about for a 1998 movie
3- The dub was horrible as always and forever will be
4- The story was insignificant
5- The characters were either annoying or uninteresting
6- The fighting was more of a bad joke than anything else.
Yet, its saving grace was that it was only an hour long. I haven’t seen enough of the series yet to make a judgment, but if it makes me feel the same way as this movie did, I’m definitely not going to finish it.

| This movie is a decent addition to the world of Slayers. Lina and Naga are the main characters in this one. I found parts of this movie very funny, one is the part where the "powerful" swordsman gets defeated by a basic fireball. I was cracking up that was just DAMN FUNNY. I actually like this better then the first Slayers movie. If you want to know more read on.

| As I've said in my review of Slayers Excellent, I always find myself somewhat disappointed in the Slayers oavs and movies, primarily because of character, which is the basis by which Slayers works. And mostly because Naga is not as good a companion character as Lina's other various companions, especially Gourry, Zelgadiss, Amelia and Xelloss.
It is probably because Naga always sees herself as Lina's rival, and therefore always places herself in an opposing position, even though we know it is all smoke and mirrors. Naga will never beat Lina, and she seems to know it. Although with Naga (and other Slayers characters) you never really know.
However, this scenario is used better in this film than in the others, so one could say that this is Naga's high point. Although that's not really the case. I like this film, but not really as much as I would hope to, all things considered. Typical for Slayers.
The supporting characters are actually few on the ground. Marlene and her father are amusing in taking their feud to stupid lengths: a revolution as part of a rebellious teenage phase. Just the kind of thing you expect to see in Slayers. And the dragons are amusing. It is always funny to see non-human characters behave in altogether human ways....
But its all very Slayers (albeit slightly paler than normal), and no matter how weak I am to this series, I cannot rate it too highly. Anything around 7 is about where a Slayers production deserves to be.

| it was funny. but i think they should put more of it in the movie. the story was not something that got me hooked and suddenly there was another evil dragon coming in the picture which in my view didn't add to the movie at all. animation is mediocre. i can't remember something about the sound so that can't be bad or good.
