This anime is really the type of ADULT thing I like about japanese animation. It's so simple and so common that it's predictable and at the same time charming. Hataraki-Man is about a women who got the syndrome of a workaholic man. That's why the name of the anime Hataraki-man... I supposed since hataraku is the verb for work and the english allusion, is so japanese like, is about working man or more like working like a man.

Enough of the explanation, let's dive into the review a little more. The story is about Hiroko, a 28 years old women who got the life of anybody with ambitions. One day life is reminding you that you can't control everything even if you have been able to survive like that for most of your existence. So everything is going from bad to worst when you are unable to take another breath in this endless sea.

Time is passing and you begin to doubt about what your doing and all the purpose around it. You have come to mock your own work and your own life. You think that it's better at home, like most of us with that kind of excellence, we are asking for much more than what others can gives you, but you are not asking. They find out by themselves and they can't take it. It's exactly what is happening here. Life can be cruel when it's showing off that your life is anything but an hollow. The only thing that you can do to forget your problems is working...

I think I gave you a nice topo of the anime. With that in mind, the name of the anime is telling us everything. It's greatly done with a nice touch of humor, but the main idea is still really dramatic. For the peoples recognizing themselves in this description, I am really suggesting you to watch this anime ASAP, you will find more than what you asked for.

I'd use this anime as a comparison to Honey and Clover... if it had anything to do with Honey and Clover. But for right now, it's just boring.

OK, Hataraki Man is japanese for company man, or a workaholic. This anime doesn't judge whether that type of lifestyle is good or bad, it just languishes in it. Languishes, that's a good word! There's no action, a tiny bit of story, but nothing new, it doesn't really do anything, and doesn't do anything WELL. It's just... there. Good luck with this one

A great anime about what life is like in the working world. I absolutely loved this anime. Hiro is a super fun character to watch. It's a shame this anime is only 12 episodes long because there was so much potential.
