Full moon is a surprisingly dark and fast paced manga. I’d highly recommend it for shojo/drama/romance fans.

I Started to read the Manga Just after i finished the Anime series. Because Apparently, the manga has a Totally different storyline & Ending compared to the anime. So I wanted to find out.

Full Moon wo Sagashite, this manga is the First Manga I've Ever Read & Completed. So I'll be really lenient on this review.

The Design was Really Nice. I Just Loved the Drawings, Character Design, The Artbook has the Drawings featured in the manga but with colour... & the Pictures were Just Lovely & Amazing.

The Story Starts off like the Anime, or should it be the other way round? Anyway, The manga features More about the Characters. We see their pasts, flashbacks, lives before their deaths. I reckon the manga is Darker, Much Darker than the animewhich is very light-hearted but still serious and emotional.

But the Manga is Darker & exposes more secrets of the Character's past. Even the seemingly bad guy, Izumi was shown as a some sort of good guy in the manga. The manga is Great, but seems very short, because it got straight to the point. It didn't go through any "fillers" for some fun and light-heartedness. But. I would have wanted some, so that the manga has a lighter, happier mood since it involves a 12 year old, Right??? But, the contrast between the anime and the manga is what makes them both interesting to read. =)

But, because of the short length of the manga, and not really much episodes like the anime, the anime had fillers, but i enjoyed it because it showed character development and made me grow more attached to the characters. in the manga, my bond with the main characters weren't as strong, So I didn't felt as Much emotions as i had when watching the anime... =/

But Anyway, I Think Full Moon wo Sagashite is a Great Manga to read. Though I can't compare it with any other mangas cause as i said, This is the first manga I've ever Read & completed.

But I think it's a Good Read, anyway... =)

The Anime is DEFINITELY GREAT!!! So Be Sure to Watch the Anime if you haven't... ;)

I read this some months ago just shortly after reading KKJ. But in comparison to KKJ I have to say it wasnt as exciting. But it has many of the features that make the mangas of Arina Tanemura an interesting read. Yet again I havent watched the anime version (except the last episode) but the manga looks more serious and has a totally different ending.

It is one of the good available titles of this genre and it wont dissapoint the readers. It has many touching moments. But there are better titles available, both by other mangakas and A. Tanemura herself
