Ok Harem fans out there. This is the kind of show for you guys. Though i must say this is not one of the best romance anime that you will ever encounter, But it really gives viewers a pleasent feeling and will always keep us interested who the main BOY will end up with.

I will just jump straight to the character value, in real life, 3 girls wont like u at the same time when they found out of each other, and further more battle out just for a GUY. Though its entertaining, your mind will just tell u *what the hell*

Conclusion: If u just wan to waste your time and laugh your *** off, by all means no harm giving this show a try. Ending is kind sweet too. Check it out. Peace out~!

Ook, i make this short since not many will want to look up this anime.

Firstly, this romance anime is a bit different from the others, in the sense, this comes from the long line of Konami's Tokimeki series, which is generally girl orientated but from a typical male-orientated romance viewpoint.
The case is that this show creates the feeling of ramnce by looking into the perspectives of the 3 main girls and the boy, moreso than alot of other romantic series. In this case, however, is where Tokimeki falls, 25 episodes were made to introduce and develop the relationships between Aoba and the 3 girls, Amamiya, Miina and Kasuga, in these 25 episodes are the usual generic romance cliches that you can find in your local anime bookstore... minus the excessive fan service.. which is not to say there isn't any fanservice but blatant fanservice (ala Love Hina) is nowhere to be found.
But enough about that, the relationship and development of the characters are the most important point in this show, and frankly, it succeeds yet fails at the same time. Success: Aoba got the main girl and goes through an interesting time looking through development between them. Failure: Too much filler!! Success: The other two girls were decent candidates for winning due to high development. Failure: Aoba is a generic male protagonist!!

To sum it up, the show is a generic romantic show, but its a good kind of generic, nothing too serious occurs and the romance is neatly sorted (despite awkardness at the end), Tokimeki IS a good show, if only people disliked it for the generic feeling about it.

Overall 7/10
Grade: B-

Meh, is all I can use to describe this series. Maybe that's being a little harsh, but this anime just was a tad bit on the boring side. Everything was just plain and nothing was new to the love romance genre.

Animations are fine, but the girls are really plain looking. I mean SHUFFLE! had elf ears, but the girls in this anime are kind of plain looking and boring. So are there personalities and they barely change in the anime, except they grow fond of the main male lead at the end of the anime. Otherwise this anime is your typical 2006 anime animations, but it is slightly better than average.

I personally found almost all the music in this anime to be a tad boring and a little too slow for my taste. The OP and EDs weren't outstanding, but they weren't awful. The seiyuu's were ok, but not bad or excellent.

Story is what you would expect from a harem series. But since this anime is twenty-five episodes long. They decide to put a whole bunch of nonsense filler episodes in. But the bad thing is those filler episodes are boring and didn't even fit with the story. Most harems have at least some interesting fillers, but Tokimeki fails at this category.

Characters are typical. Sayuri is the perfect beautiful girl that is adore by most of the males at the school. Tsukasa is the athletic cheerful girl. And Mina is the shy quiet girl. And you won't believe this, but they all fall in love with the same boy. And another amazing thing is that the boy is the main character of this series. WOW! Not. At least there weren't any annoying female girls, but there were some annyoing side characters in the story.

Mediocre is the perfect word to describe this series. It didn't grab my attention for long, because I was constantly skipping some parts of the episodes just so I can get on with it and get to the good parts.

There are many other harem animes that are better than this, even Love Hina is better than this. Love Hina was at least interesting, even though some of the female characters there were annoying.

Based on a popular dating sim game, Tokimeki is a typical harem series without anything outstanding. The series presents itself with a normal introduction but resumes with elements of randomness and illogical beliefs. But through these seemingly random events, the characters feel more alive and they develop through these interactive events. Tokimeki may not stand out but that is what is expected of a dating sim based anime.

One of the most popular dating games finally gets its own anime series, but with a mediocre storyline, crappy storyline, and weird seiyuu choices, one must wonder if the producers spend any effort into making this anime.

The only strong point is the animation, but compare to KyotoAni ones, it is still a few miles off from being a top contender.

Sound is definitely one of its worse section. The seiyuu selection is particularly bad, it's not the seiyuu doing a bad job, but the selection into the particular characters just does not match to the particular seiyuu voicing it.

Characters are really generic, from the lame hero and the main female cast, down to the really generic and stereotypical supporting characters. There are character developments to the main ones, but they are not enough to be memorable in a 25 episodes series.

Overall, it's only for the die hard series fans. And even then, it is still only mediocre at best.

First to review this series but watching the first 9 Episodes was a blast. I think this is the first School-life, wanna-be drama and comedic anime that I've seen in a long time that was good. It has a few cliched themes that actually adds to the Comedy.

Animation: Definitely Top-Notch. You'll notice that there are times when the charasters may look a little weird but those scenes are actually pretty rapid sometime unnoticable. As for the style, it's over exhaggeration at some themes adds to the comedic value. I found myself laughing out load a few times because of the situations some of the characters were put into.

Sound: The sound is okay. You'll notice a few things are actually pretty funny and also the OP and ED...I guess they're alright. Nothng that grabs you and makes you go "Oh wow"

Story: Actually like a few School-life animes that I've seen (GTO and a few others), the story is kinda skipping around into different things that the characters go through. What I mean is like the new student (main character Aoba Riku), some of the situations he gets in while he tries to adjust to the school, School Festivals and whatnot and so on. Pretty random. So far though after about episode 7 the story kind of focuses around his relationship with Kasuga and how he seems to be having troubles and stuff. Kind of interesting to see how he gets in and out of situations all-in-all.

Characters: To me, so far, the characters are all pretty much cliche. You focus mostly on the developement of the main and the people who are around him. You have his rushy "girlfriend" who is pretty naive at their relationship. You have him who doesn't really understand what's going on around him and just wants to be "a normal school boy". Another thing about him is he's your typical main male anime character. Passive and always eager to please. Surprisingly, he's not a loser. Then you have his friends who one with glasses is the guy who's smart and knows everything about every female and his other friend who basically is a support for both the guy with glasses and the main character. There's then the misunderstood nice guy who every thinks is a trouble maker and also the crazy sports and club presidents who are always trying to find ways to get the main character into bad situations just to see how he reacts. My main focus though is on the Main Character as he tries and keeps everything at a nice normal level even though he's around not so normal people.

Value/Enjoyment: Honestly, I gotta say I really enjoy this anime even though it's only been 9 episodes. It's not overly dramatic with people trying to do completely retarded things and it's not heavily focused around a main character trying to choose between this person and that person to go out with. Instead, it's more of a light funny anime that puts the main character into situations (like SUDDENLY getting a girlfriend..pretty much out of now where) and seeing him either work with the situation or get out of it.

If you're into school-lifes and aren't really looking for a Heart Throbbing Story (no pun intended) then I'd suggest this anime. It's Comedic value makes up for it's lack of romance.
