| Welcome to an alternate universe where cross-dressing effeminate teenage boys are not only accepted, they are worshipped. As hard as it is to believe, when deprived of female companionship, teenage boys will turn to the next best thing. Even though the students know that the “princesses” are actually their fellow classmates dressed as females, everyone seems to dote on them.
Anime is not always true to life, and it shouldn’t be. However, when your school’s mascot consists of three boys who dress like girls but no one seems to find that odd – that just defies all logic and realism. The situations can be surreal but the entire story becomes unreal when the reactions of the characters don’t seem realistic. I look forward to a future where everyone will be accepted for what they are, but the united mindset displayed in this anime is just a little disturbing.

| If you want something that will make you smile until your face aches, then I can't think of anything better to recommend ^__^
Even though there isn't really much of a storyline to Princess Princess, it isn't necessary to truly enjoy this wonderful, light hearted and very sweet shounen-ai anime.

| Even though this show is far from perfect, I'd recommend it to anyone looking for an anime series to smile at. This is not only for shounen-ai fanatics (actually not much of that aspect is even involved).

| Animation: Absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!!! Everything is so smooth and the drawings are fantastic! I would like more anime to be made by this company more often.. o_O;; and have the same share of budget as well -.-;
The animation was so entrancing that I just had to watch more of this series... even though I'm not a big fan of filler episodes with fan-service..
Sound: The OP is okay, but I like the ED a lot. The BGM is excellent, it really went along well with the serie. The music reminds me of final fantasy and some of those games BGM, too.
Story: Although there is not much about the story... but it starts out from a late transfer student named Tooru, who didn't wanted to cause any trouble for his uncle, so he went to an all boys elite boarding school. There, he was welcomed with a warming passion by other male students and teachers... He was official known to be as 'beautiful'.
He found that quite odd.. and very very strange... later on, he realized that he had this opportunity to become as a 'Princess' in the school, establishing and receiving all sorts of benefits that could almost out ruled everyone else who wasn't a 'Princess'.
He teams up with Yuujirou and Mikoto, a blondy, a pink/red head.. and lastly, but not least, the blue headed dude. They are known to be the Three Princesses...
Basically, they do this to enlighten the dull spirits of a male's life in school, because it's an all boys school...
The story is not as creative, but very cute and comforting. Nothing drastic or extreme, just something straight forward..
Oddly, Tooru was explained by the Student Council President about the position of being a Princess... which is to wear girl clothing, wear make up, and cheer for others in the school. (It doesn't sound so hard, but in a girl's life, it kinda is... constantly going from one to another place.. getting chased, obsessed, stalked, and bombarded by other male students who are frankly their fans... of the Princess...which is very very tiring, especially if you had to cheer 22 clubs in the school... I think I would die from that) Tooru gladly and agreed to this Princess job so openly and without even thinking about it, he only took it for the benefits.. and easily is compelled to the job by giving the Queen's smile... at the very first moment, he is already like a pro at his job... hahah.
In my opinion, it's very cute and well made... makes me feel that there should be some extreme yaoi in it +__+;; but they're all too innocent and young for that.. but that's what makes them even more sexier... ugh..
The thing about this show is that it's extremely funny... at least to me anyway, I find many things in this series very funny, but not in openly sense, but rather shounen-ai sense. I laugh and giggle like a little girl when it comes to shounen-ai related things... then again, there could be some general things, too.
character: I really enjoy the characters, some are rather... cliché... and... some can be really cliche... alas, they are not original, they don't seem to have that kind of an unique personality characteristic.....
But, I gave this as a ten. In compensation, their cute personality and... erm.. yeah, it's kinda stupid of me, but whatever, because it's shounen-ai, I don't care less.. hahaha....!! I really like Yuujirou and Tooru and Mikoto, they are so cute and sexy together!!!!! ... I mean, Tooru and Yuujirou anyway, Mikoto seems like a brat who's like f**King whiny.. he reminds me of my brother.. .. it pisses me off.. XD ... but still, he sounds so girly, even though he wants to be manly.. hahah! look at the contradiction .. XD ...
the most person who's basically easiest to become girly is Yuujirou, who's 100% more manly than Mikoto, secondly would be Tooru, he's easy to accept the job and willingly to do pretty much anything to get his benefits... he's more like a man, yet he has a tender girly-side... and thirdly, mikoto would be the worse, he's afraid of losing his manhood or his man pride (cuz he has a gf) yet he acts so girly anyway.. it's natural XD ...
Value: awesome, wonderful quality...
Enjoyment: Yes, I enjoyed it very much... firstly, cuz it's very very funny and amusing... secondly, it's shounen-ai... thirdly, the characters are just too lovable..
I believe this anime will be successful.. the quality and animation is fantastic... and it's just.. too good to be true.. never really heard of a shounen-ai anime that is really funny, except kyou kara maou...
gravitation isn't funny, it's like a comedy-wannabe. Kyou Kara Maou, they don't always tend to be funny or hilarious.. it's just seem to be so natural.. which is best. Princess Princess, has their own limit, they do try to be funny, but in the end, it IS funny.
I would recommend this to lovers of shounen-ai and yaoi fanatics.
Also, if you are looking for a humourous anime, and a cute one, this one would be like.. perfect for you ^__^;
remember, it's for the fun of it.. well, basically... fan-service for women and to some boys/men... however or whatever you want to put it.. hehe.. <3... u gotta love shounen-ai stuff XD... it makes you tingle and go mushy X3 waiii~~!!!
