The phrase 'it's so bad it's almost good' aptly describes this...thing?!

There are no secrets to this series - what you see is what you get. If you've seen Nurse Witch Komugi-chan and Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan (the other shows the producers fo this series made) you know what to expect. Pretty lolitas that act sweet but are really killing machines that will go yandere when pushed and show no mercy in the bloodfest or crassfest that follows.

Tanaka Punie, a transfer student from Magical World, has come to Earth to prepare herself to be a proper princess. But she really aims for much simpler things - like world conquest and beating the crap out of anyone who gets in her way. Preferably with maximum numbers of bones broken, blood flowing freely like there's no tomorrow, breast and panty shots galore and the telling catchphrase 'Lyrical Torakev, Kill Them All!'

This is the kind of series you will watch once. It's drawn okay, full of corny magical girl music, has the bare bones of a story and characters who spend 99% of the time beating each other senseless in bizarre, perverted ways or planning to. Punie has her moments but you get constantly reminded - this is so wrong and Chris Hansen will be hunting you down if you dare like this.

Dai Mahou Tenge is another cheap laugh stab at a comedy/ecchi/gore OVA from the makers of Komugi-chan and Dokuro chan. You know what to expect and you get it. It's amusing once then you burn it before Chris Hansen has a reason to be entering your house with a camera crew. Indeed, 'it's so bad it's almost good' is the only way to describe it. Best to avoid it.

Dai Maho Toge is the tale of princess Punie, a young girl from the magical world sent to earth as part of her training.

Sound cliche? Well, for the most part, it is. However, some of the jokes prevent it from being a complete disaster. Many war films are spoofed here.

I don't recommend this for kids due to lots of violence and blood spilling. In some of the scenes, there's more blood shooting out of bodies than there should be, because the amount is more than the body it comes from.

The review below contains a few spoilers. Read with caution.
