| Watched up to ep 12 in Fansub version
Animation : good 3d rendering of the aircrafts. Characters are well drawn as well, although they often share the same facial expression. Colors are some times a bit dull and I have the feeling the graphics are not as crisp as I though they should be. Maybe this contribute to the melancholical impression this anime gives me
Sound : Nothing outstanding. Sound keeps up with the pace of the anime.
Story : a good potential with a story that ventures into the little known job of saving people's life in extreme conditions. It is very realistic with some successful and touching experiences as well as harsh or painful ones. I regret not to see more rescuing stories. There is a potential for some romance that would not spoil the overall picture.
Character : a strong point of this anime too. We see the joy, the relief, the suffering, the enduring, or the tears of many different characters. the human dimension is pretty well expressed, altough a biet briefly sometimes. Key Characters display their own independant minds. the scenarist clearly put some thought behind this
Value : a decent anime that may be re-watchable. a good quality job anyway.
Enjoyment : fair. I did not waste my time looking at this. some drama kept my interest awake for some eps. no filler.
Summary : this is a mix of slice of life + adventure + drama anime that is an original combination imho. definitely deserves a try over the first 3 eps if you like realistic animes.

| This is basicly a story about 2lt. Uchida learning the importance of the japanese rescue service.
He starts out as a wannabe fighter pilot who is dissapointed in getting transferred to choppers and rescue.
Then in missions including earthquakes, planecrashes and storms he sees the tragic and important work they do.
I've seen the 12 eps released on fansubs, and im unsure if ep 12 is the season end or the show ending.
If its a 12 ep show, the story and charachters fall a bit flat. The love story with his girlfriend in a far away city is hardly explored, and Uchida himself has hardly started taking the job seriously.
Other than that, the show has good cgi graphics on planes and helicopters, good overall animation elsewhere too.
All in all, a good drama show.
Minor update to last, released ep 13 now. Still wasnt clear if THAT was the last ep, so god knows :D
