| Animation: Good, decent, but the drawing style of the characters just sucks.
Sound: The music reminds me of Kyou Kara Maou, and it's very lovely and sweet, I like it. The opening and the ending, they just suck, I mean, it's not very... well, you could say that I'm not a big music critique, however, we can all say that it's not the best rock music there is. They could have picked a pop one, or something similar to Princess Princess.
Story: The story could have a larger impact if this was a longer series, and because that simulation games cannot be subbed and not many games from japan are licensed on pc especially if it's not meant to attract a large audience (such as, their target market is youth who are interested in shounen-ai and yaoi).
Character: Okay, all of the characters are just weird, and the OVA is really way too fast for yer own good. First there's some dude who happened to be best friends since like kindergarten, until he becomes evil and runs away after being defeated, now that's just weird. Okay, not much of a character critique, but here's the real one. Each character is consistent on their personality, such as that long hair pony tailed girly dude is always such a pansy, but yet very adorable at the same time, yet he's always tagging along with the 'ghost hunter' group for healing purposes by playing his flute (weird, I know). Hm, not many of the characters are realistic and not well developed due to the short amount of episodes (2) expressing only 30 minutes each. But the OVA tried to develop their characters as much as possible which actually makes the show pretty bad, because then it would take a lot of the 30 minutes in each of the two episodes trying to uncover the problems and the past and themselves overall of each dinky characters in the show.
Value: Good quality.
Enjoyment: Not really. Other than the fact that I've been trying to accumulate what the heck just happened and trying to fill in all of the missing spots that the show left out really tired me out, and irritated me after the next event because then I would have to analyze more afterwards. And the things that I just don't get is what I just don't get, like how the fuck did a fissure appeared out of no where in the middle of a pathway from the gates to school, and just happened to where a group of characters just standing there? Or where the fuck did this huge ass son-of-a-bitch spider-boy appeared? And how did it teleported or created an illusion of a desert... and how did a wooden sword managed to cut a huge-ass spider's abdomen in half without any traces of its blood? .... Okay, very unrealistic and extremely stupid too.
I was hoping it would be a little bit more effective, something from kyou Kara maou standards, at the very least. I mean, Angel's Feather could have done a better job if they actually made it into a series than rather trying to show the extreme bad points of the show within 2 episodes than just expressing it in a full length series (invest some damn money into it already!!)
I'm hoping there'd be a 26 episode length series of this show just to compensate the badness of what they've accomplished with this one. Hoping to satisfy many many of Angel's Feather's fans or shounen-ai fans.
You know, if it's one thing that I can't stand, it's bad shounen-ai or yaoi shows, they just can't seem to afford a better development of the story, characters, and even animation. I mean, after watching the first episode of After the Teacher's Louge, really made me want to commit suicide (I know, it was made in the late 80s, but it totally could have been better if they have put a bit more work into it). There's not many good shounen-ai (not hinting ones) series or yaoi one either.... it's just sad.....
anyway, overall, we demand something in quality!!!! and quantity if you don't mind.. ^^;;!! XD

| Yuck! Esta tem de ser uma das piores animes que vi nos últimos tempos! A animação não presta, a história é quase inexistente e as personagens... bem, parecem-me todas idênticas, menos na aparência... uma vez que possuem cabelos e olhos de cores diferentes.

| Not a bad little shounen-ai OVA and worth the watch if you have an hour to spare and feel like watching something with plenty of pretty boys with wings and a half decent fantasy storyline.
