Bleach's 2nd Jump Festa outing is more or less an extended filler episode. While the plot isn't bad, the rushed execution does let it down. As usual with Jump Festa specials, I will be brief, as there is little to discuss.

bleach is always enjoyable in some way. they have a talent to use the potential of their characters to the fullest. the story is the usual. bad guy is threatening the world. only the shinigami can save us now. overall it is nonsense with way too much fighting. still some comedy parts make it yieldable.

This is more of what I was looking for in a Bleach OVA! It's a nice little spin-off from the existing storyline and I suggest you watch it when the guys first get back from the Soul Society (as it explains Renji's awful Hippy clothes and seems to fit that time-line).

The story is quite interesting in that a renegade Shinigami who was sealed away 400 years in the past has escaped to the real world causing chaos for Ichigo and the others.
The best part of this OVA is seeing so many of the Soul Society Captains in the real world ^__^

Worth a watch, but I wouldn't recommend you watch this until you've seen the whole of the Soul Society arc of the TV series.

This approx 32 minute episode is just another way to gather all the "good guys" together and to fight some ultimate baddy. Reminescent of many dragon ball z movies I've seen, we have all these familiar characters from a particular anime gather together to fight some super strong person, but in the end... it is all up to the main character to fight him. No big surprise. Everyone else just has a guest appearance and doesn't really do anything substantial.

Taking place after the whole Soul Society arc (since all the captains are freely roaming around the ground), Sealed Sword Frenzy really offers nothing to the storyline nor character development, as if there was anything there to begin with. As for fights, it is quite typical of Bleach, and familiar to anyone who has seen Bleach before. Some seemingly hard ass dude named Baishin who ends up getting defeated in a very unsatisfactory way.

Well, there are quite a few laughs here and there, especially at the beginning, but essentially this is your typical Bleach-type humor with Ichigo fighting with Renji, Kon doing his usual antics, Rukia's odd drawings, that captain always getting lost, blah blah blah. Furthermore, the ultimate baddy himself is just a joke too. No matter how many times all the good guys get their ass kicked throughout, I never really felt any impending sense of doom or danger. So, really, this is just some flashy fight episode to gather all our familiar characters together against one all powerful baddy (who relies on super brute power and is nothing sinister or cool at all).

Still, at least it was no-nonsense fighting. We get to see a lot of the capitains showing off their skills here and there, without the needless dialogue and stuff that makes Bleach boring sometimes. So thumbs up for that!

Unlike the first jump fiesta, this one is no alternate setting, though you have to at least watch around 45 episodes, or know majority of the captains of the death gods for this to be hillarious. It has fighting scenes, it also has very good comedy, but relies on previous knowledge of the anime.

The bonus thing in this anime is actually the credits, where there is an OMAKE version of all the death gods. This was nice. The anime is a standalone, and you can actually watch this directly, though it will be better if you cover the 45 eps.

Sound is the same, characters actually make little impression, since it relies on the anime a lot. Lots of things which are unexplained are self explanatory after you watch the anime.

This is a very good addition to the bleach collection, and even though character development was little, this is quite a good OVA as it has little reliance on the anime.
