| Ok so I'm a Yu Yu Hakusho addict and maybe that's why I've rated this so high, but I have been an anime fan for over 13 years and this is one of the best movies (based on an existing TV series) that I have ever seen; the only ones I've seen that are better, are Sailor Moon S and SuperS movies ^_^
I was glued from beginning to end and astounded by the quality of the animation and the fact that even at the very end, this movie held more than one surprise for me.
Watch it after the Dark Tournament, as it does seem to fit that time scale with the TV series.

| Poltergeist Report (warum eigentlich Poltergeist? Na ja...) ist dem 1. Movie weit überlegen aber so ziemlich allem was die TV-Serie bietet weit UNTERlegen. Der Inhalt ist selbstverständlich nach dem typischen Muster aufgebaut das eigentlich alle Movies inne haben die auf einem Shonen-Anime basieren: Irgendein böser und extrem starker Kerl taucht auf und bedroht die Welt. Daraufhin machen sich der Protagonist und seine Kameraden auf ihn zu vernichten. Natürlich nicht ohne vorher gegen seine Untergebenen anzutreten und zufälligerweise ist ihre Anzahl genau auf die unserer kämpfenden Helden zugeschnitten. Somit bekommt jeder der Crew seinen Fight spendiert und der Hauptcharakter tritt im großen Finale standesgemäß gegen den Obermotz an und nach einigem hin und her ist dieser dann Geschichte und die Welt ist einmal mehr gerettet. Dieser Movie hat kaum Innovationen zu bieten, weder von der Story noch von den Fights her und ist am Ende alles in allem nicht gerade das was man große Unterhaltung nennen könnte. Wer von Yu Yu Hakusho nicht genug bekommen kann der kann sich Poltergeist Report ruhig anschauen aber irgendwelche hohen Erwartungen sollten hier lieber zurückgeschraubt werden.

| I didn't really care for Poltergiest Report. Like most movies based on shows like this it was like a long episode. I was dissapointed with this movies lack of substance. It is another evil madman take over the world theme, like DBZ. I liked what I've seen of the tv series but this is not up to that standard. If you want to know more about this below average movie read on.

| This was just another addition to it, but really was involved with more action than anything else. It had some powerful enemy from the underworld that wanted to take over from the spirit and real world during the his own objective. The team has to fight and kill him because there was a storm and flood in the spirit realm and must get the Power Sphere that will give him all powerful and such. It’s just alright, nothing that changes most of the characters during the time or anything that is involved differently.

| They tried to cram too many fights into not enough time, so the many fights take about 2-3 minutes a piece. You get to see all the usual techniques, shot-gun, spirit gun, dragon of darkness, rose whip, spirit sword, you know them all. I would have liked to have seen longer more complicated fights in a movie, but what you get is shorter than the TV series. Doesn't really add anything to the series, more like a side-show. Can't really recommend this to anyone.

| A very decent side-story to the Yu Yu Hakusho TV series. The animation is very much improved in this film than the usual TV series quality, and the stand-alone story has a working storyline and decent ending. Be warned though, it will definitely make a difference to watch at least half the Yu Yu Hakusho TV series before watching this movie, to be comfortable with all the characters and details. Overall, I recommend this very much to anyone familiar with Yu Yu Hakusho.

| Sometimes you just love to watch a movie that is pure action, and that's what this is. Lot of fighting in this, and I for one found it to be quite enjoyable. This is the kind of movie that makes you think of how cool Botan is too. Good watch for YYH fans.

| Its a good movie. I really liked the series so the movie was good to me too. If you like the series its a must see. If you never watch the series watch it first before you watch this movie. They to much about yusuke and not about anyone else. If theys howed more about teh other chracters it would make this better. I get tired of anime always being about one chracter.

| The story isn't that great but music is excellent. There are alot of fighting action scene but it's not all fighting. It's unfortunate that there's more about yusuke than the other characters. I rather see other character fighting equally as much.

| This YYH movie was pretty good, not bad at all. Interesting story and original in a way. The fights here were pretty good, I wouldn't say anything bad about them at all..
good points, I liked the characters (which is no doubt since i enjoyed the series) and I found the story interesting though my rating seemed a bit lower than what I claim..
bad..I'd say the only thing not so great was the sounds. Voices were OK but the music could of have been better along with the sound effects.
Overall, it's a nice-well balanced movie, i recommend grabbin it if you enjoy the series ^_^

| Well compare to the last movie, this one is MUCH better. It seems that they made time for each character to be in the spotlight and it doesn't run off making dead-end sub-plots. The story itself is standard and some twists(which are kind of predictable). The action is the same from the series, and I highly recommended watching the TV series, it's actually good(that is if you have a good sub).
